Andi Dorfman didn’t take crap from Juan Pablo Galavis on The Bachelor (the same can’t be said for Nikki Ferrell, according to the winner’s ex). Whatever you think of Nikki, Andi infamously dropped Juan Pablo like a bad habit and will soon take her no-nonsense approach to The Bachelorette . ABC released the first photo of her in the starring role today: “I am incredibly excited to be The Bachelorette … never did I think this would happen to me!” Dorfman, a 26-year-old Assistant D.A. from Atlanta, said. “I am looking forward to traveling the world and going on amazing dates with amazing men. And hopefully, one of them ends up being the love of my life.” Already a fan favorite for being funny, successful, strong and stunningly beautiful, Andi Dorfman took it to a new level on the penultimate Bachelor episode. After Juan Pablo made inappropriate comments during their “nightmare” overnight date, Andi gave him the third degree like she’d cross examine a witness. While the cameras rolled, Dorfman told off El Bachelor in epic fashion. Clare Crawley only wishes she could go back and do the same thing. After The Bachelor breakup to end all breakups, Andi peaced, but eesss okay, she’ll get her chance to hand out roses and Nikki wants to be with him somehow. The couple tied the knot Saturday, March 15 in a beautiful, rustic ceremony in Kingston Spring, Tenn. Apparently there are no hard feelings, however. Juan Pablo Galavis is responding, via his weekly blog, to the shocking exit of contestant Andi Dorfman on Monday night’s episode of ABC’s The Bachelor. While Juan Pablo told the cameras that he had a great time on all three of his overnight dates, Andi was singing a much different tune in the morning. On The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 9 , she called their date “a nightmare” and a “disaster,” accusing El Bachelor of not having feelings and being “inappropriate.” The Bachelor Clip – What’s My Religion?! Andi Dorfman called him out for talking about himself all the time, not making an effort to really know her and for always playing the “language barrier” card. It was pretty epic. Now Juan Pablo is sharing his side of the story. “Andi had a hard time adjusting to this experience because she wasn’t in control, and I understood how she felt,” Juan Pablo says following her exit. However, he’s not happy that she’s “putting words in his mouth.” Specifically, “She put words in my mouth by saying that I used the word ‘default.’” “It was because of her comments in Atlanta about wanting badly to fall in love that I almost [took] Renee instead of her, but I followed my heart and feelings instead.” “I don’t know that word much,” he said of “default.” “It’s not in my vocabulary.” Instead Juan Pablo said he was more likely to say “you barely made it here.” As for Andi claiming that Juan Pablo didn’t know anything about her? “I have to say that I know her as much as she knew me,” he said. The X Factor will not mark any spots on the Fox calendar next year: It has been canceled after three seasons. The American Idol-like competition never created a Kelly Clarkson or a Carrie Underwood. Can you name a single champion? Despite big names such as Britney Spears and Demi Lovato behind the judging panel, it never garnered significant ratings, either. The third season finale only drew 6.2 million viewers. “I’ve had a fantastic time over the last 12 years, both on The X Factor and American Idol ,” said executive producer and judge Simon Cowell in a statement, adding: “And apart from being lucky enough to find some amazing talent on the shows, I have always had an incredible welcome from the American public (most of the time!). Last year, for a number of reasons, I had to make a decision to return [for the first time in four years] to the U.K. version of The X Factor in 2014. So for now, I’m back to the U.K. and I want to thank FOX for being an incredible partner and I also want to thank everybody who has supported my shows. America, I’ll see you soon!”
For the first time since being publicly accused of molestation, Woody Allen has spoken out regarding his Dylan Farrow’s recent allegations. And the famous director has made it as clear as he can in a New York Times op-ed. “Of course, I did not molest Dylan,” he writes in an piece that will appear in tomorrow’s paper. “I loved her and hope one day she will grasp how she has been cheated out of having a loving father and exploited by a mother more interested in her own festering anger than her daughter’s well-being.” Last weekend, Dylan Farrow said that Allen sexually abused her as a seven-year old, detailed horrible acts he committed in the attic of her childhood home. Allen says, however, that these claims originated from Mia Farrow, Dylan’s mother, who remains bitter after the couple’s “terribly acrimonious breakup” 21 years ago. “The self-serving transparency of her malevolence seemed so obvious I didn’t even hire a lawyer to defend myself,” he writes of Mia. I naÏvely thought the accusation would be dismissed out of hand because of course, I hadn’t molested Dylan and any rational person would see the ploy for what it was.” An investigation in 1992 did not being assault charges against Allen, although official documents do hint that evidence was present… authorities simply believed it would be too traumatic for the then-seven year old Dylan to go through a trial. Allen also passed a lie detector test at the time. Mia Farrow gained full custody of her kids after her split from Allen and the latter said he and his wife, Soon-Yi, “made countless attempts to see Dylan but Mia blocked them all, spitefully knowing how much we both loved her but totally indifferent to the pain and damage she was causing the little girl merely to appease her own vindictivenes.” Dylan Farrow Slams Woody Allen as Sex Abuser Since Dylan’s letter last week, this issue has been a relevant one in Hollywood because she called out various stars (Alec Baldwin, Cate Blanchett) for continuing to work with Allen. Baldwin says the topic should be off-limits for public debate. Barbara Walters is on Woody’s side. Rosie O’Donnell believes Dylan . Why have the allegations now surfaced again? Allen points to Mia’s continued rage over his cheating on her with her stepdaughter, Soon-Yi. He asks: “Not that I doubt Dylan hasn’t come to believe she’s been molested, but if from the age of 7 a vulnerable child is taught by a strong mother to hate her father because he is a monster who abused her, is it so inconceivable that after many years of this indoctrination the image of me Mia wanted to establish had taken root?” Allen concludes with: “No one wants to discourage abuse victims from speaking out, but one must bear in mind that sometimes there are people who are falsely accused and that is also a terribly destructive thing. “This piece will be my final word on this entire matter and no one will be responding on my behalf to any further comments on it by any party. Enough people have been hurt.”
