Andi Dorfman, who begins her journey for love on The Bachelorette Monday, is speaking out on one of many topics sure to dominate headlines: Eric Hill. “When I heard the news, I was devastated,” says Dorfman, who reached out privately to his family after Eric Hill died following his stint on the series. “Shock, devastation, grief. It’s something you never could have predicted [or] expected,” she says of the 30-year-old adventurer, who “was part of our family.” “I had just seen him. He was a member of our cast and we had an inherent bond. The [other contestants] shared that bond too. Every season, The Bachelorette spoilers come out before the season even airs. Nothing like the tragedy that unfolded this year has even occurred before, though. Fans were both stunned and saddened in April at news that contestant Eric Hill died suddenly after a paragliding accident, not long after his stint on the show ended. Eric Hill Dies; The Bachelorette Star Was 30 The late 30-year-old clearly made a lasting impression on people. Eric Hill had gone on the first one-on-one date of the season with Andi Dorfman . While he was clearly eliminated at some point, he and The Bachelorette hit it off. What will his death would mean for the show going forward? Hill had already been sent home from the ABC series at the time of his death on Wednesday, April 23, but at least initially, he and Andi hit it off. Eric, who was only 30, and the Atlanta-based Assistant D.A., 26, were photographed hitting the beach together in Ventura, Calif., on March 14. “They had a beach picnic,” a witness told Us Weekly . While Eric Hill was ultimately sent home by Andi Dorfman , he definitely made an impression on the show’s crew as well as The Bachelorette herself. Juan Pablo Galavis is feeling hurt, used and embarrassed, apparently, following ABC’s release of a poster for The Bachelorette featuring Andi Dorfman. The clever teaser for the May 19 season features a beaming Andi plucking petals from a red rose alongside the caption, “She’s looking for the right one.” “One” is written out in red, of course, after “Juan” is totally crossed off: Even a self-obsessed douche knows when he’s disliked, and in Juan Pablo’s case, he’s probably fine with it. But by rubbing it in his face, ABC pissed him off. He’s “embarrassed” and feels “used” after becoming a punchline. Aww. Follow Andi Dorfman ‘s dumping of Juan on The Bachelor’s penultimate episode this winter, Clare Crawley dissed him similarly hard on the finale. Nikki Ferrell won the final rose, to the envy of … pretty much no one. Dorfman, who became a legend after putting the former soccer player in his place and peacing out of the show in epic fashion, is in charge this time around. The poster was plays upon the fact that Andi is tied to Juan Pablo both by making it almost to the end as a love interest and for the way she bounced. Considering how he treated some of the women on the show – and the fact that as people insulting him goes, this is pretty tame – he may want to chill. Sure, it must be annoying (for him) that ABC uses his (truly terrible) reputation to spur interest in The Bachelorette , but deal with it dude. Eesss okay! Trey Songz has become the latest victim of a Twitter hoax today, but the R&B singer was not killed off a la Chumlee or Wayne Knight by the Internet. He was merely outed as gay. Rumors that Trey Songz came out began circulating on social media after a doctored tweet purportedly sent from his Twitter account surfaced online. News of his supposed coming out soon provoked myriad responses and re-tweets, with reactions ranging from amused to surprised to apathetic. The “Dive In” singer soon hit back at the tricksters responsible, denying that he’s gay and ripping those that made crude comments at his expense, “The things you people craft up with hatred in your hearts … the things people believe without question, or validity, all baffles me,” he said. “Photoshop and a retweet is all people need to believe, any and everything. I feel bad for the impressionable, no minds of their own,” he added later. “If I’m gay then Tupac bringing me a ounce for this session wit Biggie tomorrow,” Songz concluded. “No weapon. #LOVE. Former star of The Bachelorette Ashley Hebert is pregnant and expecting her first child with her husband and 2011 final rose recipient, J.P. Rosenbaum. The self-described “cool dentist,” Hebert first won hearts as a contestant on Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor (the second), only to finish in third place. Ashley Hebert , 29, later went on to star on The Bachelorette, where she first met J.P. Rosenbaum, 36. He proposed in Fiji on the finale, and they wed in 2012. Their wedding was aired on ABC, just like Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici nuptials earlier this year. The couple now lives together in New Jersey. “Whenever we’re around each other, it’s just easy and comfortable and fun,” Rosenbaum famously said on the show. “It’s a chemistry you can’t ignore.” “It’s just there.” “I can’t be without her.
