Arie Luyendyk Jr.: Did He Just Let Slip a Bachelor Spoiler?!

Jimmy Kimmel is at it again, interviewing Arie Luyendyk Jr. and pressing him to reveal forbidden  The Bachelor spoilers . Naturally, Arie can't actually divulge how the season goes. You know how this works. Except that, as you'll see in the video below, it looks like Arie may have slipped up and revealed something that he didn't mean to. As you know, Jimmy Kimmel has a history of interviewing each season's Bachelor (or Bachelorette) and confronting them with his wife's theory of which contestants will make it the farthest … and who will win. Molly — Jimmy's wife — tends to do pretty well with her guesses. But only pretty well. For example, Jimmy interviewed Rachel Lindsay at the beginning of her season of The Bachelorette . The theory presented? That Rachel was engaged to Peter Kraus. That was a simpler, more innocent time, when people believed that Rachel Lindsay had sense. Arie, of course, insists that he can't reveal anything. In fact, though past Bachelors and Bachelorettes have said “oh, my fiance and I are just laying low until the season ends,” Arie's taking that a step further. He's refusing to even tell Jimmy Kimmel when the last time that he saw his fiancee was. Weird. But then Jimmy Kimmel stops asking — and starts sharing his theories. Well, his wife's theories. We already know who Arie Luyendyk Jr's final four will be , but here are the names that Jimmy listed: First up is Tia Booth. Because Tia is nice and likable and so are her friends, though Jimmy (well, really Molly) predicts that Arie won't pick her in the end. Next is Chelsea, whom Jimmy has pegged as this season's Bachelor Villain — great to keep around as fodder (though … all the way to the final four might be too much). Then comes Bekah M, and we can only assume that her youth played a role in getting her into the (imagined) final four. Or perhaps Jimmy Kimmel just wanted to highlight how rare short hair is in the franchise. As if to emphasize the many, many redundant names in this season, Jimmy also named Becca K (Becca Kufrin, not to be confused with Bekah with a K ), whom he noted Arie must have taken notice of to some degree after just the first episode. Jimmy Kimmel even goes so far as to name Becca Kufrin as the prospective winner. Now, if you've taken the plunge into our spoilers, you know who Arie chooses at the end of the season. But what's catching people's attention is how Arie responded — seeming to let his guard slip — when Jimmy brought up Chelsea, the potential “villain.” “Chelsea, you gave her the first impression rose, she’s very attractive, she’s aggressive.” He uses that aggression — often a positive quality — to lead into how he sees her role on the show playing out this season. “She’s also clearly going to be the villain, so you need to keep her around for a while.” The producers need to do that. Arie may have other priorities. “You won’t pick her, you’ll just keep giving her roses so she can antagonize everyone else in the house.” Arie seemed to break character in that moment (as you'll see in the video), going from nodding to shaking his head. Was he saying that she's not in his final four, or protesting her “villain” label? We don't know. Jimmy Kimmel created a distraction after he'd named all four women, by proposing that Arie have a threesome (since he'd mentioned falling in love with two contestants ) with Becca and with Bekah. Jimmy's delivery sounds more like a guy broing it out and less like someone promoting healthy polyamory, so it was a line bound to rub people the wrong way. But also a line bound to help Jimmy take some of the heat for Arie's possible slip-up. Decide for yourself if Arie really slipped up — or if it's some kind of misdirect or whatever — by watching the video below.

Rachel Lindsay & Bryan Abasolo: Preparing to Elope?!

We all make mistakes. Most of us don’t have our mistakes broadcast on international television. But the whole world saw Rachel Lindsay choose Bryan Abasolo . They’re still together though, and Rachel’s talking about wedding plans. But … it sounds like she might just elope. Speaking to Us Weekly , Rachel Lindsay gushed about her engagement to Bryan Abasolo and how eager she is to tie the knot. “I’m ready to be married.” Well, it would have been weird for her to go on The Bachelor and then star on The Bachelorette otherwise. “I keep saying winter wedding, which more so with the process of everything is what it’s looking like, but honestly I could elope with Bryan tomorrow.” A winter wedding sounds lovely, right? Elopement sounds … well, it probably sounds a lot easier. And apparently Rachel’s mother agrees. “And it’s so funny because my mom texted me the other day and she goes, ‘Secretly I would love for you to just elope.’” It’s hard to tell if her mother really wants that or if she’s just fatigued at the idea of this huge, expensive wedding. “The family loves him,” Rachel claims. That sounds a little different from what we saw on Hometown Dates, but … okay. “I want good music, good vibes, a lot of family and friends around, and I just want it to be a big reunion, that I know.” That sounds like what most people want for their weddings. “Someone said the other day, ‘What about having the wedding in Colombia?’ and actually that’s a thought that we’re thinking about right now.” What would be the point of a winter wedding if it’s in Columbia? But she’s a Texas girl, and perhaps doesn’t enjoy the cold. “That’s the first time I’ve said that out loud!” Usually , you want your fiance or at least your wedding planner to be the person you tell, not Carly from Us Weekly . No offense to Carly. Rachel Lindsay talks about her friends that she made within the Bachelor Nation. “They’re with me everywhere.” Awww, that’s sweet to imagine. “I’m stuck with them for life.” That … well, we’re sure that she’s joking. She goes on to gush about what it’s like to be engaged to Bryan Abasolo. “Bryan’s romantic every day.” He promised her a fairytale romance, and it sounds like he’s delivering. “He’s always giving me massages, he’s always catering to my needs to the point where I’m like, ‘Hold on. Let me do something for you.’” That sounds like it might be bordering on TMI, but it also sounds very pleasant. “Bryan’s just very sweet. Whenever I need something he’s very attentive to it, so I would say he’s romantic every single day.” She also talks about their disagreements when it comes to children: “I want four kids. Bryan wants three, but he also says it depends on how many we can afford.” We never imagined that we’d say this, but … we’re team Bryan Abasolo. “See, this is what I mean about Bryan, he’s so practical. I’m just like, ‘Give me all the babies. If we can’t have them, we’re adopting.’ So we’ll see.” Let’s see if she still wants four after a few months of infant-induced sleep deprivation. Rachel talks about some more immediate plans that she and Bryan have. “We’re spending Christmas with his family.” Bryan Abasolo has gushed in the past about how much his grandma loves Rachel Lindsay . “We’re gonna be two weeks in Miami. He spent Thanksgiving with my family, so it’s all been so seamless in how it’s all come together.” Well, if you like wasting part of winter in warm climates where the weather takes “winter” as a mere suggestion, Miami sounds lovely. Just not as lovely as Peter Kraus . View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Fans to Rachel Lindsay: Do NOT PICK Bryan Abasolo!

Arie Luyendyk Jr. Used to Date Courtney Robertson, Who Rates His Sexual Prowess as …

The leading man of any season of The Bachelor is supposed to be the season’s protagonist, of sorts. You might root for a hopeful contestant, but by doing so, you’re rooting for the Bachelor himself, too. But what are viewers supposed to think when they find out that this next season’s leading man was, until very recently, dating one of the franchise’s most infamous villains? Because Arie Luyendyk Jr. is the next Bachelor … and until very recently, he was dating Courtney Robertson . Oh, and Courtney has shared exactly what he’s like in bed. So, Courtney Robertson won her season of The Bachelor . This was season 16, way back in 2012 — the year where some people thought that the world might end but, unlike 2017, it didn’t actually look or feel like we might all get wiped out in a combination of intense natural disasters and some sort of nuclear onslaught at any given moment. Courtney went onto that season, in which the leading man was Ben Flajnik, declaring that she wanted everyone to like her. (A lot of us can relate to having a pathological need to be liked — that’s not why she’s a Bachelor villain) The problem, of course, was that Courtney badmouthed just about everyone else on the show. Maybe that was just for the camera and doesn’t represent how she is in real life, but … it wasn’t a great look on her. She won, though. She did win. Obviously, Courtney Robertson and Ben Flajnik split back in the fall of 2012, but they actually stuck together for 11 months. That’s not nothing. After that, and until very recently, Courtney and Arie Luyendyk Jr. were dating off-and-on. According to Us Weekly , the off-and-on relationship that began in late 2012 between Courtney and Arie only ended a few months ago. “Courtney Robertson was still dating Arie on and off up until a few months ago,” the source revealed. That means that they spent five years doing this same dance. We’ve seen marriages that gave people less time together. “Arie still races and does real estate on his off season. Courtney got him into real estate!” We love that they talk about real estate like it’s a hobby. “Courtney has been living in Arizona for a year. She¹s doing real estate in Scottsdale and pretty happy, she¹s near her family.” Courtney’s from Scottsdale, so that makes sense. “Arie is based out of Arizona but still travels/races a lot.” Apparently he likes to travel a little too much. “That was part of the problem for Courtney with Arie: he will never stay in one place.” That sounds exhausting. We hope that the ladies competing in Season 22 are prepared for such a chaotic lifestyle. “But Courtney ultimately knew that it would never work out with Arie.” In her 2014 memoir, I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain , Courtney Robertson also spilled some details about sex with Arie. “He brought over takeout from Postino and two bottles of Brassfield’s Eruption wine and we closed the blinds. After we ate, we sat in the backyard talking. I found out that he dated someone connected to the show a few years ago and that’s how he ended up auditioning for The Bachelorette. ” Wow, that’s specific about what he brought over. “During his casting weekend in North Carolina, my finale had aired. He and a bunch of the guys watched it and he said he knew that I was his ‘dream babe.’ He said from that moment on he had a crush on me. He was rewarded for that touching story with a makeout session that lasted for what seemed like an eternity.” Nice. “Though he is an expert at lip locking, known among fans of the show as the ‘kissing bandit,’ I was getting hot and bothered and needed more. ‘Arie, I feel like I’m in high school.I can’t just keep making out with you.’” Honestly, a lot of Bachelor Nation nicknames are super weird. But we love how direct she is about her thirst. “He was hesitant for a millisecond, but then we headed into my childhood bedroom, into my canopy bed, for what can only be described as the best sex I’ve ever had.” That’s some serious praise. Courtney’s only had sex with, like, 15 guys (and she’s gorgeous!), but still . “Why was it so good you ask? Arie’s incredibly passionate and utilizes his entire body in his lovemaking. And he knows exactly what positions make a woman feel comfortable and satisfied.” So, in summary: Arie’s really great in bed. Courtney kept coming back for more for half a decade. But he likes to move around a lot, and we don’t mean in the bedroom. That sounds exhausting or lonely, depending upon whether you envision yourself dragging yourself along with him or staying at home until he returns. But maybe on his season of The Bachelor , Arie will find a woman who also likes … ugh … going places and doing things . We’ll keep an eye out when that season begins! Kaitlyn Bristowe: I Wanted to Send Nick Viall Home SOONER!

Kaitlyn Bristowe may have gotten her happily ever after with Shawn Booth after The Bachelorette , but that doesn’t mean that her season went exactly the way that she wanted it to. In fact, Kaitlyn says that there was one thing in particular that she’d never planned on — and that was keeping Nick Viall around as long as she did. There have been no shortage of breakups of Bachelor couples. In many cases, people have found that the person they got to know on reality television isn’t the same when the cameras aren’t rolling. In others, the fact that the cameras were rolling at that they were all on a timetable doesn’t give them time for honest communication before they get engaged. And their celebrity status afterwards makes it hard for their relationship to continue even after the season airs. And, obviously, some couples just drift apart. You can look at the breakup of Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins , whose relationship was strangled by a lack of honest communication thanks to the relentless presence of cameras in their lives. (Ben was on Kaitlyn’s season — that will come up in a moment) Then you have breakups like the one between Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton, that involved Josh calling the police . Their split seemed like it would have happened even if they’d just met over Tinder or whatever. But, despite all of the things that can and so often do go wrong in relationships, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are still together. Not married, but they’re together. So what, in Kaitlyn’s view, went wrong with her season? On her own podcast, titled Off The Vine , Kaitlyn Bristowe revealed that she never intended for Nick Viall to make it to the final two. For some time, Kaitlyn knew that she wanted to be with Shawn Booth. (Clearly, he was the right choice, as they’re still happily together) She had also decided that Ben Higgins would be the last man she sent home. As you remember, Ben came in third, not second, and it was Nick Viall who was Kaitlyn Bristowe’s final breakup. Nick Viall ended up going on and getting engaged to Vanessa Grimaldi (though they of course have broken up). Kaitlyn doesn’t say why things ended up the way that they did, but it’s interesting that her own decisions didn’t quite match up with her own plans. Kaitlyn may have gotten her happy ending, but that doesn’t mean that she’s turned her back on the Bachelor Nation. Recently, when it was finally revealed that Rachel Lindsay had made the controversial choice of settling with Bryan Abasolo, Kaitlyn posted this message to Instagram. “Attention Rachel and [Bryan Abasolo]. Today will be one of the best days of your life. When you can finally be out in the real world hand in hand.” She actually referred to Bryan as “Jerome,” which had been Rachel’s code word for her unnamed fiance. We suspect that Kaitlyn wrote this out in advance. Or maybe she just didn’t want to spoil things for those who hadn’t seen it yet. “I honestly don’t think you need advice because you seem to be on cloud 9 and you’re smart af, but here’s mine for what it’s worth.” Awwww, that is so cute. “Do not listen to outside voices. People will try and bring you down, I’m not sure why…But they do.” We, at least, don’t want to bring down Rachel Lindsay. We don’t understand her choice, but we want her to be happy. “As long as you surround yourselves with people who love you, and remind each other that they come first, you will be ok. You both have our full support. #TheBachelorette” This was from her and from Shawn Booth. Adorable. We’re not sure what lesson to take from this. Kaitlyn isn’t alleging a conspiracy by the Bachelorette producers or anything. It just sounds like she had a hard time letting Nick go before the end. Harder than she’d anticipated. Nick Viall’s been on one Bachelor show or another about a million times (approximately), so he’s clearly good at winning hearts. But … he’s also seemingly done with reality television. For a little while, at least. View Slideshow: Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth: A Love Story

Dean Unglert Might Not be the Bachelor, Either. Here’s Why.

Today, the sun is getting eclipsed. But so are your hopes and dreams. If you were hoping to see Dean Unglert star on the next season of The Bachelor , anyway. Especially after hearing that Peter Kraus is unlikely to get the role . Nothing’s for certain just yet, but based upon what Deanie Baby has revealed, he might not qualify to be the leading man. And no, it’s not because he allegedly makes an ass of himself on Bachelor in Paradise . So, it was a little while back when Dean Unglert revealed that he finds love in Paradise in a Glamour interview. “Did I find love in Paradise? Yeah, I’ll be honest with you. I did find love in Paradise . Yeah. I don’t see any need to hide it.” We’ve known for a while that Dean Unglert is on Bachelor in Paradise , well before Dean was sent home after his Hometown Date with Rachel Lindsay. But what we didn’t know until recently was that Dean would find love. We can’t say that it’s surprising — with his endearing personality and baby blue eyes. (Even DeMario Jackson, in his very short time in Paradise, found Dean’s eyes memorable enough to mention in his Instagram tags when he reflected on his time there) But, if Dean found love in Paradise, people have to wonder: what does this mean for his future? What does this mean for The Bachelor ? Right off the bat, Dean Unglert seemed to really hit things off with Kristina Schulman. From what we’ve already seen on Bachelor in Paradise , Dean and Kristina hung out and they opened up about their past hardships. Dean talked about his emotionally distant father and his mother’s death when he was still a teenager. (That’s why he has her name tattooed on his body) Kristina talked about spending eight years  growing up in a Russian orphanage before being adopted by a Kentucky couple. That’s sort of par for the course when it comes to trying to find love on a reality television schedule, but they did seem to have a connection. The thing is, though, that lots of people find love in lots of places. There’s a difference between “aww I love you” and “i think I’m in love with you,” both of which are very different from the sort of lifelong bond of love that happens in Disney movies and allegedly in real life sometimes. Dean might find love in Paradise. (In fact, a recent promo shows him confessing that he’s in love with two women there, so that’s … potentially complicated) But that doesn’t mean that he’ll come out the end of the season having forged a lasting relationship that will preclude him from appearing on The Bachelor . Because, you know, a lot of love is fleeting. Dean Unglert is a fan favorite to be the Bachelor , and he was a frontrunner on The Bachelorette . That doesn’t mean that he’s a shoe-in, unfortunately. One factor is that Dean is still in his mid-twenties, which you’d think would be fine, but it’s a little younger than the Bachelor tends to be and might bring about different age dynamics. But we’d still love to see him, or Peter Kraus, in the role. And, of course, we’d love to see Dean find love. If he has to not be the Bachelor, it would be ideal for it to be because someone already won his heart. We hope that, at the very least, Dean Unglert got to have some fun on Bachelor in Paradise . Peter Kraus Might Not Be the Bachelor, Because Everything’s Garbage

Did Peter Kraus being a mature person with a grounded, honest idea of what engagements mean kill his chance to be the Bachelor? Yeah, we know — it’s upsetting to think about. But, unthinkably, it’s starting to look that way. From very early on, Peter Kraus was a clear frontrunner on this last season of The Bachelorette . To the collective horror of most of the Bachelor Nation, Rachel Lindsay chose Bryan Abasolo and left Peter as a weeping mess. What appears to have been the deciding factor for Rachel, despite Peter Kraus’ countless winning qualities, is that Bryan was willing to say exactly what Rachel wanted to hear. Rachel wanted her season to end with a proposal. To Peter, a proposal means a commitment to marry — which is, folks, literally what proposals are — and he would want to continue to get to know Rachel and date her after their season ended. You don’t know someone until you’ve seen them off-camera. To Rachel, though, a delay on the proposal meant an interruption of her carefully imagined plans. It was a dealbreaker. But many began to hope that Peter would go on to have a career within the Bachelor Nation. We talked to you about why Peter Kraus would be the perfect Bachelor . He has a huge fanbase already. He’s charming, he’s handsome. And there’s a reason that we spent an entire post talking about Peter Kraus’ abs, folks . Seriously. Despite the demands by Bachelor Nation members of sense everywhere, however, it looks like the creator of The Bachelor doesn’t think that Peter is the right fit. Mike Fleiss is a producer of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette . He is also the creator of The Bachelor . Just a few hours ago, in possibly the most transparent subtweet that we have seen, ever, in our lives, Mike Fleiss said this: “Do we really want a Bachelor who isn’t ready to settle down with a woman he loves? Hmmm. Not what # thebachelor is all about…” Dude, that is not subtle at all. Peter Kraus has said that he’s undecided about being the Bachelor , but his fans are rooting for him. In the light of Mike Fleiss’ tweet, though, many fans are crushed. We’d like to point out that it isn’t a “hard no.” And also that Fleiss didn’t actually mention Peter Kraus by name at all. (Even though he might as well have just hired a skywriter to spell out Peter’s full name in the heavens) It’s entirely possible that Fleiss is deliberately teasing the Bachelor Nation, or even floating the idea by appearing to reject it. As many fans responded, Peter as a suitor and Peter as the leading man are very different things regarding his willingness to commit. We’ll say this much about the horrible nightmare universe where Peter Kraus isn’t the Bachelor: At least there’s a chance that it could be Dean Unglert. If you’ll recall, Dean Unglert is also a favorite to be the Bachelor . Despite his youth. Unlike with Peter Kraus , even Rachel Lindsay seemed supportive of the idea of Dean taking up the mantle. Dean is a little young, but he’s 26, so … that shouldn’t be a dealbreaker for anyone. He’s also basically universally loved (even by Peter — those two struck up a real friendship) and his dazzling blue eyes can steal anyone’s heart. So, even without Peter, there’s a very real chance that the next season of The Bachelor could be salvaged. But (as Rachel Lindsay is likely to feel in a few years), we’ll always wonder what might have been. View Slideshow: The Bachelorette Fans to Rachel Lindsay: Do NOT PICK Bryan Abasolo!
