Christina Aguilera’s Chubcakes Are Golden

Earlier today I posted some pictures of Christina Aguilera in which she seemed to be putting on a few pounds right before our eyes, her legs looked like they could take down a small mule. So I thought I’d give her another chance by posting some shots of her in her nicest evening gown at the Golden Globes last night. Sadly, she’s still fat. Is she preggers? I must be out of the loop. Anyhow, the only upside to someone like Christina putting on a few dozen pounds is that, at least in the beginning, it all goes to the chest area and I’m all for it. After that, it’s a slippery slope. Enjoy it while you can.

Serpent Eats Its Own Tail: A Ghostbusters 3 Development Timeline

At this point, you might have an easier time indexing every bit of information in the latest WikiLeaks cables than sifting through the last 10-plus years of rumors surrounding Ghostbusters 3 . And then, today news hits that the movie is indeed still in development, but not confirmed for production because… Bill Murray hasn’t signed on yet. Okay, so Aykroyd’s on the radio reassuring everyone about the sequel and Murray’s keeping his distance. Has anything at all changed since the beginning of this ridiculously over-hyped and probably unnecessary project? Just to double check, I waded through pages of old news and rumors to construct some sort of working timeline about the film’s development. Might want to take a painkiller in advance for this post.

Golden-Voiced Ted Williams Detained by LAPD

Let’s hope this isn’t the beginning of the end to the feel good story of 2011: The LA Times reports that Ted Williams and a unidentified family member “were detained after police were called to the Renaissance Hotel on a disturbance call” on Monday night. The Kraft pitchman — and future Jack Nicholson co-star — was released after questioning, and it’s unclear whether any arrests will be made as a result of the call. [ LAT /L.A. Now ]

The web of deceit by the Military Industrial complex, has a death grip on Democracy making what was a government for the people by the people into a government for the Corporations by the Corporations. A blow to Obamacare

A federal Judge has ruled in favor of Virginia’s challenge to the Constitutionality of Obamacare. This is the beginning of the unraveling of this new federal health care mandate. Score one for the Tea Party! They were adamant that the law was unconstitutional and they were right. I wonder if our Massachusetts Congressional Delegation will now admit they were wrong. I won’t hold my breath. On a different note this might be bad news for Romneycare and Mitt’s Presidential aspirations. Pollution May Be to Blame for Swan’s Killing Spree

Swans may be regarded as symbols of love and harmony , but sometimes they too can be downright mean — and one such bird in Wales may be the meanest of them all. Aptly named ‘Hannibal’, this bird has been on a rampage since the beginning of the year, killing 15 of his pond-mates and attacking dozens more. “I’ve never come across such an aggressive bird,” said one wildlife worker, who describes Hannibal as a “horrible swan.” But it may not be entirely his fault. The bird is so aggressive, officials suspect
