Avril Lavigne, Brody Jenner Tattoo Their Names On Each Other

Singer and ‘The Hills’ star have been dating for months. By MTV News Staff Avril Lavigne Photo: Steven A Henry/WireImage Just four months into her relationship with “The Hills” star Brody Jenner, Avril Lavigne has taken the plunge. No, the divorced 25-year-old singer isn’t getting married again, but according to gossip site X17 , she and Jenner recently got each other’s names tattooed on their torso. Paparazzi photos of Lavigne and Jenner on a recent trip to the beach show the word “Brody” imprinted just below Lavigne’s left breast and what appears to be her first name on the inside of his arm. The couple displayed their new ink during a recent July 4 outing in Malibu, California, where they were photographed hugging on the beach and paddling surfboards in the water. In May, the couple also reportedly got the word “F—” tattooed on their respective rib cages after just a month together. (Avril confirmed her “F—” tattoo when she appeared in the June/July issue of ) That followed their first double-inking, in April, when they got matching lightning bolts during a trip to Las Vegas. Lavigne has a history of getting matching tats with pals and lovers, including a small pink heart surrounding the letter “D” in honor of her former husband, Deryk Whibley, singer for Sum 41. She’s also got a star on the inside of her left wrist that matches a tat on the body of musical collaborator/producer Ben Moody, ex-guitarist for Evanescence. Lavigne, who is working on songs for her fifth album, was most recently heard on Almost Alice, an album of music inspired by Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” that included her lead track, “Alice.” Should couples get matching tattoos? The Hills Recap: Brody Jenner is "Seeing Someone"

As we gear up toward what can only be described as an epic series finale July 13, the penultimate episode of The Hills certainly featured a lot of things going on. Some of them possibly even real! Heidi Montag’s sister Holly and Darlene Egelhoff, their mom, lamented that Heidi has gone totally off the rails. They’ve been trying to reach her but can’t. Kristin Cavallari puts it all out there and says she has feelings for Brody Jenner , but he isn’t really reciprocating the fake love. Lo and Stephanie also star. Here’s THG’s recap of Tuesday’s The Hills , “Loves Me Not” … O RLY? YA RLY: Brody ignores Kristin and texts “someone else .” Stephanie, Lo and Holly talk about the ca-ra-zy drama that went down in Costa Rica over lunch. Gotta rehash all the details, and totally naturally. Plus 5 . Brody says he’s hanging out with a new girl. How come The Hills calls “Ryan Cabrera” by first and last name, yet won’t say Avril Lavigne at all? Minus 5 . Brody’s friend Josh, who races motorcycles, introduces himself to Stephanie Pratt, and the pair have an instant connection – they don’t drink. Plus 4 . Holly Montag picks her mom up from the airport. They’ll have to wait for Heidi to come around. Minus 3 for falsely getting our hopes up for Speidi, Hills . Kristin tells Stacie how Brody wants to talk and it’s, like, her chance to finally tell him how she feels. Minus 6 , because it’s really the producers’ chance. SIDEKICK STEPH: She-Pratt’s falling fast and hard for a new man . Holly tries calling, but her voicemail isn’t activated. We’re sure that’s real, much like Spencer’s apology to LC, which she wasn’t actually listening to. Minus 5 . Scott surprises Lo on their one year anniversary by asking her if she wants to move in together. Plus 7 , because while we really don’t care, they’re very sweet! Kristin lays it all out there. Brody says he’s sorry, but he’s met someone else. Minus 14 because we know this, and Kristin does too, and it’s a famous musician. Nearly lost for words, Darlene tells Holly that since Heidi Montag has been gone, it feels like she’s mourning the loss of a child. Not at all melodramatic. Plus 8 . Kristin cries when she tells Lo that Brody rejected her and is seeing someone else. Bull$h!t, since she’s dating Miguel Medina , a Hills cameraman! Minus 20 . TOTAL: -27 . SEASON: -41 .

‘The Hills’ Recap: Kristin Tells Brody How She Feels

‘Now is kind of too late,’ Brody responds when she says she’d give a relationship a try. By Amy Wilkinson Kristin Cavallari Photo: MTV After Kristin’s attempt to make Brody jealous by shamelessly flirting with bartender Will went nowhere in Costa Rica, she decided to take a more novel approach this week by telling Brody how she truly feels. But Brody didn’t exactly return the sentiment on Tuesday night’s episode of Stephanie met up with Lo and Holly to catch them up on all the Costa Rica gossip, including the Brody/Kristin drama. “I think she acts like it’s a game, but it really means more to her,” Lo observed. “Because he knows she’s really in love with him.” Talk then turned to the impending arrival of Holly’s mom, Darlene. “I don’t know what I’m going to do if she wants to see Heidi,” Holly said. “But does she know none of us talk to them?” Stephanie asked. “I haven’t told her yet because I didn’t want to make things worse,” Holly replied. But after picking her mom up at LAX, Holly wasted no time telling her what was going on (or not going on) with Heidi. “I tried to call Heidi, but I don’t know how to get a hold of her anymore,” she told Darlene. “I would love to see her while I’m here,” Darlene replied. Holly told Darlene that they’ve written Heidi and Spencer off, but Darlene said she doesn’t believe Holly can completely rid her life of Heidi. Holly is, after all, Heidi’s protector. Later that night, the gang convened at the Colony, where Brody ignored Kristin. Though to be fair, it didn’t look as if Kristin was making much of an attempt to talk to Brody either. Stephanie caught the eye of Brody’s motorcycle-racing friend Josh, who began chatting her up. Brody made it plain to Josh that Stephanie was a bit of a handful. “She’s got some issues,” he told him, but that didn’t stop Josh from walking Stephanie back to her car and asking for her number. The pair met later for a date at Angels & Kings, where Stephanie nervously ordered a soda, as did her date. He divulged that he’d heard about Stephanie’s problems, including her estranged brother and the DUI, and said that he didn’t drink too often because of his racing, which Stephanie found quite reassuring and charming. The next day, Stacie and Kristin met to talk about Brody’s cool reception toward Kristin, and Kristin divulged that Brody had called to say he wanted to talk. “This is the perfect opportunity to get it all out there,” Stacie advised. “But Stace, what else is there to say?” Kristin replied. “But that’s the thing,” Stacie countered. “You really haven’t said it. You haven’t made it clear at all. If you don’t talk about it … you’re going to regret it.” One couple that was on the right track was Lo and her BF Scott, who went out to dinner to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Scott asked when Lo’s lease was up, because he wants to move in with her. But Lo was hesitant to agree to anything for sure because she doesn’t want to move in with a guy unless she’s engaged. Meanwhile, Brody and Kristin met for their chat. “I’m glad that you came over and that you want to talk,” Kristin started. “I feel like things are weird between us now.” “I think things are different,” Brody said cautiously. “What do you want?” Visibly flustered, Kristin let it all out. “I guess I kind of want to give things a shot with you,” she said. “I want a boyfriend. I’d be willing to really try.” “Well, now is kind of too late,” Brody responded. “Part of the reason I’ve been so distant is because I’ve been hanging out with somebody else. And I kind of want to see where it could go. And I think we’ve already been down that road and it didn’t work out. I’m sorry it had to be like this.” It may have also been too late for Darlene to reach Heidi. When Darlene and Holly met for lunch, Holly had tracked down Heidi’s number but couldn’t get a response. The distance from her daughter left Darlene shaken. “I just feel like she can’t live in two worlds, and she feels like she has to choose between us and Spencer,” Darlene said. “I haven’t slept for months. I had to get a prescription for sleeping pills. I’ve been mourning the loss of a child.” Kristin was also in a state of mourning as she met with Lo to discuss her talk with Brody. “You can’t let Brody Jenner make you feel like an idiot, ” Lo advised. “He’s the guy that yells in bars. C’mon.” “I completely put myself out there and he doesn’t want me,” Kristin said. “The guy I love doesn’t want me. It’s done.” Related Videos The Hills (Season 6) | Ep. 11 | ‘Loves Me Not’ The Hills: Live After Show (Season 6) | Ep. 11 Related Photos The Hills (Season 6) | Ep. 11 | ‘Loves Me Not’

Kelly Cutrone Reveals Her Favorite ‘Hills’ Moments

‘I didn’t even know what ‘The Hills’ was,’ ‘City’ star reveals about her season one appearance on the show. By Jocelyn Vena Lauren Conrad Photo: MTV With the series finale of “The Hills” set to take place on July 13, it’s time to reflect on some of the show’s greatest moments. Whether it’s the time Lauren Conrad first stepped into her apartment with Heidi Montag or what is certain to be an emotional final scene on the show, “The Hills” has had fans glued to their TV screens week after week for six seasons. For a while, People’s Revolution head honcho Kelly Cutrone was part of the madness. Now one of the stars of “The City,” Cutrone admits there are a couple of standout moments from her time on the show that are her favorites in its storied history. It was the moment Cutrone met LC for the first time at the Jennifer Nicholson fashion show during Fashion Week. And it was a moment that Cutrone made her future employee cry when she didn’t comply with getting LC tickets for her Teen Vogue boss Lisa Love. Cutrone is now able to laugh about the whole experience. “I didn’t even know what ‘The Hills’ was,” Cutrone recalled about being featured in the season-one finale. “But I knew this girl was coming. It took her a while to realize [I was the woman she was supposed to get the tickets from at the show]. And I think I made her cry. “It’s one of my favorite moments. I wasn’t happy that she was crying. That look was kind of Betty Davis, Tammy Faye. It’s the ultimate pop-culture drama-girl moment,” she recalled. And Cutrone’s list would not be complete without her now infamous job interview with Stephanie Pratt . “I was walking into the L.A. office, Pratt’s there, and she’s sitting on the couch [looking scared],” she remembered. “[Lauren explained,] ‘She’s just really nervous to meet you.’ Not to be mean, but it was probably one of the least exciting interviews. The first thing I notice is [her] objective. It says ‘to become a handbag designer.’ ” How does Cutrone feel about that objective now? “I’ve never seen anything like that,” she said. “Why would you put that?” Which of Kelly Cutrone’s ‘Hills’ moments is your favorite? Lauren Conrad to Appear on The Hills Reunion

Lauren Conrad is finally returning to The Hills … right after it ends. One week from tonight, the girl who made the MTV reality show a hit will be on hand for the Live Reunion Show after the now-sagging series mercifully goes off the air. The reunion will immediately follow the series finale of The Hills and the season finale of The City . Whitney Port reported the LC news, as well as her own attendance: “I am so happy to tell you all that I will be attending the reunion, as will Lauren!” Whitney wrote on her official site. “I am so excited to see everyone and catch up.” “I am so excited to see what’s next for them,” the former Hills star and current City leading lady continued. “It’s been so long since we have all been together.” REUNITED : For one night and one night only, next Tuesday . What remains unclear is whether Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt , exiled from the show in recent weeks without notice, will appear between now and July 13. Tonight, the penultimate episode of The Hills airs, followed by The City . The former will likely focus on Kristin and Audrina’s predictably boring romantic drama. Sigh. We can only hope Speidi returns to liven things up one last time.

The Hills Recap: Celebrating 100 Episodes of Drama

Last night on The Hills, the crew marked 100 episodes of the MTV show with a trip to Costa Rica, which offered both incredible scenery and crazy hookups. It was a nice departure from the clubs and lunches we see in L.A., but make no mistake, this was still The Hills , for better or worse, just in a jungle setting. Here’s THG’s plus-minus recap of events … Immediately after landing, Kristin Cavallari speculates on who’s going to hook up on the trip. Plus 18 , because that’s all they do, and the reason for going. Kristin tells Stacie that Justin-Bobby is “the one” for Audrina Patridge , but Brody isn’t “the one” for her. Are you effin’ serious, cue card writers? Minus 7 . When Kristin kissed bartender Will, it irritated Brody Jenner, but didn’t get a real rise out of him. Plus 4 , as he reacted more like someone kissed his sister. We used to sort of root for Kristin and Brody Jenner to get back together, but after all this waffling, we’re pretty much over it… not unlike Brody. Minus 3 . Wait, were McKaela Line and Allie Lutz get invited? Sucks for them! Plus 7 . Charlie tells Justin-Bobby that he needs to make a move on Audrina. Not coerced by the producers at all . Even , because he does make a move, of sorts … You gotta love Justin-Bobby just walking by and randomly grabbing Audrina’s ass like the low-class waste of space that he is. Consistent, at least. Plus 7 . Kristin tells Stacie and Taylor (a.k.a. Sleazy T) she’s done with Brody after he embarrassed her in the bar. We’ll see how long that lasts this time. Minus 4 . Stephanie Pratt serves absolutely zero purpose on the show. Minus 5 . Wow, Brody and Justin-Bobby are actually really good surfers. Plus 4 . Seriously, WTF is Justin-Bobby wearing?! Who rocks a stocking cap and long sleeves in Costa Rica? Minus 8 for lowering the douchebag bar to new depths. After he invites her out, Kristin and Will dance together in the rain. Which actually does look really fun. We think we need to go to Costa Rica ASAP. Plus 10 . The Kristin-Will thing might seem cool or romantic, but we already know Brody doesn’t care, and she’s dating Hills cameraman Miguel Medina , so Minus 14 . Kristin and Will kiss. Maybe she’s got a future in acting? Plus 5 . J-B asks Audrina if she’ll ever come back to Costa Rica. She says, “Not with you.” OWNED, but Minus 4 anyway, since she’ll always crawl back to this loser. No Spencer and Heidi? Even on the 100th episode? Minus 16 , because as we’ve said before, the show needs Speidi, and didn’t even explain their absence. Lastly, Plus 8 to push us into positive territory. Why? While a shell of its former self, The Hills still has its moments, and has given us so many memories. TOTAL: +2 . SEASON: -12 .

‘The Hills’ Recap: Kristin Gets Her Flirt On In Costa Rica

Brody tries to play off his jealousy, and Audrina feels ‘awkward’ around Justin Bobby. By Amy Wilkinson Kristin Cavallari on “The Hills” Tuesday Photo: MTV For the 100th episode of “The Hills,” the gang (sans Lo) headed to Costa Rica for a little rest, relaxation and, of course, drama. As everyone explored their posh tropical resort, Stephanie wasted no time pulling Audrina aside to see how comfortable (or uncomfortable) she felt vacationing with Justin Bobby, whom Audrina had been seeing more of since she and Ryan Cabrera broke up. “It’s a little romantic of a trip,” Stephanie began. “Is that weird, since Justin is with us? Are you going to be OK?” For the most part, Audrina seemed unfazed, but she and Stephanie weren’t the only ones chatting about a potential hookup. “I think Justin and Audrina are probably going to hook up,” Kristin declared, though the rest of the group seemed sure it would be Kristin and Brody doing the hooking up. But later, Kristin confided in Stacie that she had her doubts about Brody. Stacie’s advice? “Flirt with every single guy here.” It didn’t take long for Kristin to follow at least part of Stacie’s advice as she got her flirt on with their lip-ringed bartender, Will. Brody was visibly irritated as Kristin told the bartender he was cute and accepted his invitation to hang out later that night — but Brody tried to play it off, saying, “I’m not going to get upset. I’m looking for chicks here too. You’re like my little sister.” Wow, harsh. Perhaps inspired by Kristin’s overtures, Justin Bobby began putting a few moves on Audrina. “You’re so cute with your hair up,” he complimented her. And later, as he was leaving the bar, he took it upon himself to grab Audrina’s butt — both cheeks! The next day, after an afternoon of surfing and ATV riding, everyone (including bartender Will) gathered for dinner. Sitting next to each other, Audrina asked JB why he’d been acting so strange lately. “It was awkward last night,” she said. “I had my reasons for not being my normal self,” Justin said, talking about Audrina’s emotional baggage. Brody again pretended not to be miffed by Will’s presence, offering a toast to Kristin, or as he so creepily put it, to “the sisters I’ve had sex with.” That was more than enough to rile Kristin, who grabbed Will, left the table and began making out with him by the pool. As the trip wound down, Justin made one last attempt at pleasantries with Audrina, asking her if she’d ever come back to Costa Rica, to which she simply responded, “Not with you.” Should Kristin and Brody quit playing around and get together for real? Sound off in the comments. “The Hills: Final Season” airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT every Tuesday, followed by “The City” at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Kristin Cavallari: Dating Miguel Medina!

She’s dated a number of high-profile fellas, but Kristin Cavallari revealed this morning that she’s dating Miguel Medina, a cameraman from The Hills. “That’s not part of the show,” Cavallari said when asked about Medina. “Yeah, I’m currently dating [Miguel] and that all I’m going to say about that.” So basically, Miguel Medina’s job is to film The Hills , which features his girlfriend pretending to date other guys. Hey, whatever pays the mortgage. Hooking up came naturally, she explained . “Well, when you’re together all the time, you’re close, and it just sorta happens,” Kristin Cavallari told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show earlier today. The Hills cameraman Miguel Medina gets to stare at Kristin Cavallari all day and gets paid for it. The same is true for our interns, to a lesser extent. Could be worse . The reality star’s former loves include Stephen Colletti, Matt Leinart and Brody Jenner . She also pretended to date that tool Justin-Bobby for a bit. Along with Stephanie Pratt, Jenner and Hills creator Adam DiVello, Cavallari hyped the 100th episode, airing tonight, plus the series finale July 13. “Everybody’s kind of coming at peace with their stories we’ve been following,” DiVello said. “A few definitely found what they were looking for.” DiVello also said that while they won’t be partaking in the bogus drama, the after-show will feature former stars Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port.

Top 10 ‘The Hills’ Moments, From Speidi’s Wedding To Lauren’s Farewell

We pick the best so far, as the reality series celebrates its 100th episode on Tuesday. By Jocelyn Vena Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner and Kristin Cavallari Photo: MTV We’re more than halfway through the final season of “The Hills” and Tuesday’s (June 29) show will mark the 100th episode of the MTV reality series. Even with Lauren Conrad long-gone, Speidi, Stephanie, Audrina, Kristin and the rest of the crew have been up to some serious shenanigans this season. Leading up to the show’s pivotal 100th episode, MTV News is giving you a cheat sheet of the show’s top 10 moments — a list of some of this season’s top moments so far is on the way — all to help you get caught up before the “Hills” finale airs July 13. #10: Stephanie Pratt’s Interview With Kelly Cutrone After landing a coveted job interview with People’s Revolution PR maven Kelly Cutrone, Pratt seemed at a loss as to how to actually leave a good impression on your potential boss. For one, telling her your objective is to become a handbag designer? Bad idea. Did she get the job? Of course she did — then she lost it. #9: Justin Is Christened Justin Bobby Before Audrina brought her new guy over to meet Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth, the two pals went back and forth over what to call him. “His name is Justin, but he, like, wants to change it to Bobby,” Lauren explained to Lo. When the hairstylist/drummer arrived at the girls’ apartment, Lo asked if it was OK to call him Justin Bobby , bestowing him with the most memorable nickname in “Hills” history. #8: Heidi Crashes LC’s Work Party As an intern at Teen Vogue, Lauren was just hoping to stay in the good graces of her boss, Lisa Love. Her party-girl roommate, Heidi Montag, however, just wanted to have a good time. She showed up uninvited to the bash with a small entourage and nearly ended Conrad’s internship. #7 & #6: Holly Gets Tipsy, Heidi Marries Spencer While it was probably shocking for bride-to-be Montag to watch her sister Holly’s drunken antics at her rehearsal dinner , it was probably even more shocking for viewers who realized that Heidi and Spencer really did intend to get married. #5: Kristin Declares War There has been bickering on “The Hills,” but nothing seemed quite as vicious as the fight between Kristin Cavallari and Audrina , who fought over Justin Bobby at a rooftop party during season five. Plus, until then, we’d never heard any of the show’s stars utter anything as juicy as Kristin’s now infamous “It’s on, bitch!” #4: Heidi Moves Out After many ups and many more downs, the dynamic duo that was once Lauren and Heidi really began to fall apart, when one major down, Spencer Pratt, came between the roomies. Heidi moved out of her apartment with LC to pursue her relationship with Spencer. And although the once-close pair sometimes crossed paths, their friendship was never the same. #3: LC Chooses Love Over Paris Maybe Lisa Love was right when she predicted LC was “going to always be known as the girl who didn’t go to Paris.” But at the time, Conrad really thought she had something going on with boyfriend Jason Wahler. Her pal Whitney Port went instead and Lauren had a pretty terrible summer. #2 & #1: LC, Heidi Reconcile, LC Exits It was the moment that had Heidi, LC and “Hills” fans in tears. For a brief moment, the onetime besties reconciled and reminisced about what had made them friends in the first place: They actually liked each other. But the brief reconciliation was too little, too late. What is your favorite moment from “The Hills”? Let us know in the comments! “The Hills” airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
