Taylor Lautner’s ‘Cooler of Meat’ Diet and 4 Other Revelations From Oprah’s Twilight Special

To the delight of shrieking Twi-hards across America, Oprah’s Twilight spectacul-aaaaaaar aired today. Kristen Stewart spent the hour fidgeting in her seat and avoiding eye contact with everyone, even the Jamaican fan whom Oprah had flown in just to meet her. Robert Pattinson responded to every serious questions with quippy answers (“She’s pregnant,” he shouted when Oprah asked if he was dating Stewart). Taylor Lautner talked about his abs and Dakota Fanning seemed wise beyond her years. Basically, it was every Twilight promotional interview you have ever seen plus Oprah. Fortunately, Movieline has compiled the five anecdotes you have not already heard a thousand times after the jump.

No One Saw the Completely Precedented Happy Town Failure Coming

Happy Town , ABC’ s small-town mystery that plays like a blander Twin Peaks , will be pulled from the network’s schedule following this week’s episode, then won’t return until June 2. But Sam Neill was just getting started doing his grizzled thing! I’d feign surprise, except that a show just like Happy Town failed last year at this very time . Can you help solve this sad caper?

Conan O’Brien Denies That His Tonight Show Lost Money, Says He Is Still Angry

CBS has been throwing buckets of tasty Conan O’B rien quotes overboard this week, hoping to bait a younger 60 Minutes audience and bring its median age down to 50. Yesterday, the network cleverly released a Jay-bashing soundbite from this Sunday’s interview. And today’s delicious excerpt slices through the very argument NBC used to boot him from his time slot.

TBS Unveils Its Inaugural Conan Promo

It’s only been a matter of hours since Conan O’B rien announced that he will depart network television for TBS , and already, the network has posted a promo on their website celebrating their latest acquisition. The same way that NBC speedily transformed Jay Leno’s primetime ads (you know, the ones with the vintage blue convertible speeding down PCH ? ) into Jay Leno’s Tonight Show 2.0 commercials, TBS has hastily doctored Conan’s fan art to celebrate the impending Conan era. The evidence, after the jump.
