Bristol Palin to Enroll at Arizona State?

Dancing With the Stars finalist / abstinence advocate / Facebook fiend Bristol Palin just bought a house and says that she may enroll in college nearby. The location of said property: Maricopa, Arizona. The $172,000 Arizona home Bristol Palin just paid for in cash has five bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 3,900 square feet. The price? $172,000. Quite a deal. SUN DEVIL : Is Bristol heading to ASU? [Photo: Pacific Coast News] So far, no word on which school the 20-year-old will be attending, but the home is just miles from Arizona State University’s school of broadcasting. Bristol has expressed an interest in broadcasting public speaking. Another fun fact: ASU declined to give Barack Obama an honorary degree in May. He gave the commencement speech, but officials deemed that he, the President of the U.S., hadn’t done enough in his career to warrant the honor. Sounds like a good fit for Bristol. Sarah Palin ? So proud.

Natalie Portman is pregnant! Natalie Portman is also engaged to her unborn baby’s father, Benjamin Millepied! What a day of announcements for her! The happy couple met during the production of Black Swan , for which Nat earned nominations for a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award. Here’s a photo of the pregnant and engaged star with her man … The future Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Millepied! Benjamin Millepied served as choreographer for Black Swan , but a few months into filming, he found himself on the other side of the camera as well. Of being cast as the dance partner of Portman and co-star Mila Kunis, he said, “I really, really got into it… I was blown away, especially by Natalie.” Apparently! This will be the first marriage for both and their first child as well. It’s unclear how along Natalie is, but in any case, congratulations! If Broadway had an NFL -like injury report, Julie Taymor’s production of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark would be listed as “questionable.” In the wake of Monday night’s latest injury — when a stunt performer fell nearly ten feet into a pit beneath the stage — safety inspectors with the New York State Department of Labor will pay a visit to the production. “We’ll be talking to the production team, checking the harnesses, cables, and other equipment, and trying to determine what happened, and we’ll have more information after that,” said a department spokesman to the Times .
