Calvin Harris And Tinashe Are Casually Dating Calvin Harris is definitely moving on after his split from Taylor Swift just weeks ago. According to a Page Six source , Harris has been casually dating Tinashe for a few weeks now: “They have been seeing each other on the DL. It’s only been weeks, so it’s still pretty casual right now. They’ve been on a few dates,” the source told us. Tinashe and Harris met in the studio in 2014 when they collaborated on the song “Dollar Signs.” They were rumored to be writing songs for Rihanna at the time. “They stayed in touch and recently started hanging out again,” the source said. The duo was spotted on a date at Nobu in Malibu on Saturday. “It was clearly a date. They were super close,” a spy said. Reps for the couple did not comment. Nice move Calvin, nice move. Taylor may have more money but Tinashe definitely makes up for it in the rhythm department. And she has hips! WENN

Trump Names Omarosa Manigault “Director Of African-American Outreach” The Republican convention is on and crackin’ and we now have news via USMagazine that Donald Trump has named his trusty sidekick, Omarosa Manigault , to an official HNIC position in his campaign. Omarosa Manigault, a contestant on season 1 of Donald Trump’s reality show The Apprentice, has been named the director of African American Outreach for the presumptive GOP nominee’s campaign. She announced the news in an interview with MSNBC on Monday, July 18. Omarosa, 42, spoke from day one of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, telling MSNBC she was “very proud” to serve in her new role. “It’s really an extension of the work that the coalition has already been doing,” she said, referring to the National Diversity Coalition for Trump, where she was vice-chairman. “And so I’m very happy to take up that cause for Donald Trump.” MSNBC host Craig Melvin then showed the former White House employee a poll indicating that zero percent of African American voters in Ohio said they’d vote from Trump. “It would seem as if you have your work cut out for you, to say the least,” he teased. The former reality star — who had a reputation for being a villain on The Apprentice in 2004 and in subsequent reality TV appearances — simply laughed off the results, saying that she had personally met and spent time with 300 “African Americans for Trump.” The HELL is culturally disconnected azz Omarosa gonna tell black folks anything positive about why we should vote for Donald Trump? Republican Politician Posts “Make America White Again” Billboard In Tennessee GOP House candidate Rick Tyler is trolling everyone after posting a campaign billboard in Tennessee telling voters to “Make America White Again” according to The Washington Times : The sign, located off Highway 411 near Benton, was meant to convey the message that America should go back to a “1960s, ‘Ozzie and Harriet,’ ‘Leave it to Beaver’ time when there were no break-ins; no violent crime; no mass immigration,” Mr. Tylertold WRCB, a local NBC News affiliate. “I believe the majority of the people in the county like [the sign],” he said. “I saw people taking pictures beside it right after I posted it.” Mr. Tyler told a local ABC News affiliate that the sign was taken down on Tuesday evening after the story went viral. His restaurant, Whitewater Grille in Ocoee, is also facing calls for a boycott. Mr. Tyler had posted a second sign on Highway 64 with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have a Dream” quote written over a White House surrounded by Confederate flags, WRCB reported. Make AmeriKKK hate again, huh?

14-Year-Old Boy Arrested For Hate Crime After Beating Up Muslim Man NYC Police have arrested a 14-year-old in connection with June 1st beating of a Muslim man who had just left his mosque on Jamaica Avenue in Queens according to ABC 7 NY reports: The victim, who had been riding a bicycle, suffered multiple broken bones and was unable to speak or open his eyes. Three teenagers took part in the beating, and two of them remain on the loose. The name of the 14-year-old now in custody is not being released because of his age. The New York Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY) called on the NYPD to investigate the attack as a possible hate crime. Who teaches a 14-year-old boy to have so much hate in his heart?

Black Merit Scholar Removed From Graduation For Wearing Kente Cloth A gifted Black teen was forcibly removed from his California high school graduation by police for refusing to remove his traditional African kente cloth according to NY Daily News : Nyree Holmes, 18, was ejected from the ceremony as he walked off the stage on Tuesday at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento. The graduating Cosumnes Oaks High School senior had been urged to discard the item of clothing several times, and was told police would stop him, if it came to that. “I go through shaking all the hands and smiling feeling as if I won,” Holmes wrote Tuesday on Twitter, according to the Atlanta Black Star. “Then when I get to the stairs I see three sheriffs at the bottom of the stairs. They tell me to leave with them and I said, ‘sure guys let’s go.’” After he was booted, Holmes said he and his father tried to retrieve the teen’s diploma, but school officials refused to give it up. But with the help of a black security guard, Holmes was able to get in “through the exit” and claim his diploma, he wrote on Twitter. Holmes felt the need to wear the kente cloth because as a “descendant of slaves, I have no firm connection to my roots in Africa,” he told the ABS.
