Hasn’t this man been through enough? Prominent Detroit clergyman and chart-topping gospel singing star Marvin Winans was driving without a valid license when he was beaten, robbed and carjacked last week, according to state records. Winans, who has been ticketed at least 15 times since 2005 — once for driving 95 m.p.h. — was caught speeding and driving without a license in Hazel Park in December, Michigan Secretary of State records show. After he paid a fee to Lansing, his license was reinstated for several months but suspended again May 9 because he never settled the violations at Hazel Park District Court, the records show. If he appears to pay those tickets — one for impeding traffic as well as for driving without a license — Hazel Park will let bygones be bygones, City Manager Ed Klobucher said. We’re going to treat the pastor just like we treat anybody else and afford him the opportunity to come in and get his tickets paid,” Klobucher said today. Klobucher said he was surprised to learn of the pastor’s outstanding violations. “Somebody showed me his tickets and said, ‘You know what? This guy shouldn’t have been driving anyway’ ” when he was carjacked, he said. Okay, so I know that this story is old, but I thought I would share it with you anyways. My name is Elizabeth and I’m from Louisville, Kentucky and I’m 15 years old. When I met Justin, it was September 19th 2009. At the time I was 12 years old and in 7th grade. Every year, a local radio station puts on a “Birthday Bash” and they invite singers to come, usually 5 acts. In 2009, (when the only song Justin had out was ‘One Time’) I found out that he was coming. I was so excited because the tickets are only $5. That year we were going to see Jay Sean, Jessie James, Justin Bieber, and 2 more that I cannot remember. My mom drove me downtown alone since my friend would be late because she had dance. We were driving around for about 10 minutes just trying to find a parking spot and suddenly, I just saw Justin walking with his mom and the girl from OLLG. I screamed and my mom almost side swept a car. It was about 3:30pm and the concert didn’t start until 5. Right after I screamed, my mom found a parking spot, I couldn’t believe it. This kind of thing never happens to me. I hopped out of the car and walked over to him. Okay, just so you know I’m a pretty shy person and I had no idea what to do. I didn’t want to scream and attack him. You will probably think what I did was weird but oh well. So I ran a little faster to catch up with them as my mom locked the car. Before I knew it, they made a right turn and started walking down an alley way that was just the backs of buildings. I looked at my mom and she was like, “Just go and ask him for a picture.” Like I said before, I’m a shy person so I decided just to walk behind them slowly without saying anything. I said “Justin,” but not loud enough for him to hear. After he didn’t respond, I was like, oh well. But then his mom turned around and saw me. She nudged Justin in the arm and then he turned around. We were about 15 or so feet apart and I sort of just looked at him and asked quietly. “…Erm, can I get a picture with you?” Without any hesitation he said sure. My mom still hadn’t caught up so in order to keep a small talk, he asked, “So who else is performing tonight?” I assumed that he already knew this but he didn’t want things to be awkward. I told him and then my mom came with the camera. He put his arm around me and my mom took 3 pictures. In one picture you can tell Justin was reading my shirt. In the picture he is smiling because it said “Lustin’ for Justin” I didn’t come up with this, the radio host did so I decided to put it on there too. I warn you that the pictures are EXTREMELY ugly because I was really awkward and I had recently got a new haircut and she gave me a mullet. Later on we saw him perform live! Glendale Arizona Store Sells 6 Winning Lottery Tickets In One Day Six winning $1 million Powerball tickets were bought at a QuikTrip gas station in Glendale. Only one person has claimed their ticket since Wednesday’s drawing. The five other tickets are out there, somewhere. “What we do know is these are not Quick Pick tickets,” said Karen Bach with the Arizona Lottery. “They are individually selected numbers on a play slip or, in this case, multiple play slips.” Bach said this is definitely a unique situation, but the tickets are legitimate. Moore plays the lottery often and suspects something bizarre happened at the gas station. “I don’t know if they had just a general slip that they filled out and someone else used it,” he said. “The odds of that are significantly high.” 3TV spoke to the manager of the QuikTrip. My name’s Katelen and I’ve never written anything like this before, so here it goes! I live in Perth, Australia and I’m nearly 14 years old. In late 2010 (December) Justin’s first Australian tour came on pre-sale and I knew I would never be able to afford tickets. So Mum and I entered all the competitions you can enter for tickets to his concerts, or even more; a meet and greet as well. Tickets kept on selling out so I’d cry, then they’d release more tickets so everything would be alright. I saw so, so, so, so many competition winners be announced from the radio stations, music t.v shows, newspapers and even social messaging sites (MSN). Everyday I got so jealous. On April 18th I got a mention from a girl on Twitter saying “Congrats on winning the Justin Bieber Competition”. I instantly got very excited and replied “Which one?” because I’d entered a lot of them. I logged onto my emails to find 2 emails from ninemsn – I cried. The first one was just a “Congratulations you won!”, the second one was from a Representative. Confirming my address and phone number as my phone had been turned off from being at school. Julia (The Representative) rang me and told me personally that I was going to meet my idol! I also had the choice to choice a friend; I chose my Mum. She was the one who helped all this happen after all. The morning of 7th of May was very hectic. My dad came around to get my brothers because mum and I wouldn’t be home until late. I was the only one home my mum had to take my brother to one of his competitive football games north of Perth. 12 o’clock wouldn’t come quick enough! 12 o’clock came and we arrived at Burswood Dome at approximately 2:30pm. Bought some merchandise, and mingled with the other beliebers. At 4:30 we had to meet Pat at the box office, and he gave us and about 100 more fans their wristbands. We walked through the stadium, and backstage to see Alfredo, Ryan, Dan and Kenny! Justin was waiting behind the black curtain and we had to go in groups of 4. We went in with 2 other random girls. At first I wasn’t going to stand next to stand next to Justin, I stood next to the other girl and my Mum was about to walk around to the other side when Kenny asked her “Is this your daughter ma’am?” So he moved the other girl around the other side so me, mum and Justin could stand next to each other! (I’m on the right of Justin, and My mum’s the one looking over). We then got escorted out into the stadium and waited there until all the meet and greets were over. Then we went to the main area. We could either go outside or stay in there and get to our seats first, we decided to stay inside as the lines were kilometres long. We were allowed to go to our seats first; it was empty! Then swarms of other girls entered and soon it eventually was full! The show started late, and Dash and Will; the opening act came on, Then DJ Tay James came on and DJ’ed for 15 minuted then it started!! I couldn’t contain my excitement! I swear Justin pointed at me during ‘U Smile’ and ‘Somebody To Love’ but it could’ve been someone next to, behind, or in front of me! My name is Ariana and I live in Miami. This amazing day happened on February 4, 2012 . First off I’d like to say I never thought I would write my Bieber experience. I found out that Justin was coming to Miami to record his album, I got REALLY happy and all I ever thought was “Where’s this studio?” It was Friday, I woke up and I saw that there was picture of him holding some fans hands at the studio. I went crazy, screamed at the top of my lungs Lord Jesus. I started praying to meet Justin (it sounds crazy but that’s just how Belieber’s are). My dad was working so I was like ‘OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG when the hell are you coming back home?” He said “I’m coming back late”, I felt bad because I started screaming at him but I just needed to see Justin. Finally I got there with one of my friends and I see all these girls holding on to the fence. I was freaking out wondering if Justin already came outside. They told me that I just missed him skateboarding with his shirt off, but not to worry because he will be back out. My friend and I got the perfect spot on the fence. I saw white Kenny, Scooter, Mike, Lil Twist and Alfredo. I just started to get this feeling like, I cant believe this is happening, so we kept calling Justin. Then the doors to the studio opened. MY HEART DROPPED. Everyone was screaming and I was there in another world. I saw Justin smiling, getting out the door. I couldn’t believe I was seeing Justin and this time not only on TV or on the computer. He started waving to everyone and then just starts skateboarding. I threw my camera on the floor purposely so he’d give it to me. He’s like, “Who camera is this?”. I was shaking and stuttering but told him it was mine. His beautiful eyes looked at me and handed it to me. He started walking by the fence and just holding fan’s hands and he kept getting closer. Finally he got to me, I was just reaching out to touch his hand but no, he took 5 seconds of his life to turn my hand around and write on my wrist! After all I planned to say to him, I couldn’t. He was right in front of me and just smiled. I really wanna see him again, but I’m not gonna complain because I know there is Beliebers out there that never even saw him. To all the beliebers out there saying they’re never going to meet Justin or even see him, don’t stop believing cause it will happen one day. This was just the most amazing thing that ever happened to me. I will never forget it. Justin means so much more to me then anything and I will never EVER leave him. I’ll always be by his side.
