My name is Kelly and my 8 year old daughter Thalia is a HUGE fan!  When Thalia found out Justin was coming to Perth, Australia she begged us to go to his concert, so we secretly bought tickets for her 8th birthday & told her that the concert was sold out. OMG she was heart broken!! On her birthday she opened her pressies, we left the tickets until the very end of the day. When Thalia opened it and read it, she screamed the house down with excitement and then cried! It was so cute and to see that reaction made it all worth it! I had been telling everyone I know that my mission was for Thalia to meet Justin so I wrote to Ellen, tweeted Ellen NUMEROUS times but no reply! I wrote to local radio stations etc, but as Justin said NEVER SAY NEVER, I was not giving up!  We went to a special screening of Justin’s movie ‘NEVER SAY NEVER’ and let me say, it was very inspirational . After watching it I was even more determined to help her with 1 of her dreams and have her meet him (the other is to dance on stage with him, i’m working on that 1). When I opened an email from his website telling me they have a comp to win a meet & greet I was putting the positive vibes out there to win. I entered and kept telling everyone Thalia will win this. The morning I got the phone call is one I will NEVER forget! As I entered in my name, they called me to say I had won. At 1st I thought it was a crazy call set up by friends as it was all I talked about for months! After they finally convinced me it was true and I had won, I asked the lady if she would like to tell our daughter as I entered for her. When the lady told Thalia the exciting news, she was silent had tears rolling down her face! It was such a special moment. When she got off the phone she couldn’t speak. She started planning what to wear and what to say. Our little girl was going to meet her idol! As the concert night approached, she was so nervous! We had a mummy/daughter day and then headed to the meet & greet! They were running late and she was just getting more nervous, some of the older girls we didn’t know kept coming up to her screaming at her because she was going to meet him. Thalia was getting upset and scared as the girls were pretty full on! I kept her away from cameras and everyone else, so we hid in the corner until it was time to go in. As we entered the dome she said to me, “I love you so much mum. Thank you!” We waited patiently in line for some time and took lots of pics, even had a lady come up asking for a pic of Thalia (not sure if she was a staff member of Justin’s), as she thought she looked funky! That made Thalia’s day! Thalia had sweaty palms as we got closer and we could hear the older girls scream each time they went in there. When it was our turn to go in, Thalia squeezed my hand so tight she was extremely nervous! I will let Thalia tell you how it went: “My name is Thalia. I felt really happy to meet Justin Bieber and it was awesome. He even gave me a kiss on the cheek. It was the best day of my life, he was really nice and the concert was so much fun. Thank you for letting me meet you!”  To share that moment with our daughter was amazing! Although we were rushed in and out, Justin was a very nice young man. Thank you for taking the time to meet your fans, our daughter just thinks the world of you & it meant so much to her that she met you. Thalia recently left the dance studio she has been with for 6yrs and it upset her. After the last day there, she came home and watched ‘Never Say Never’. We think to remind herself of her dream to 1 day dance with you. You are such an amazing young man and setting such a good example to young people all over the world to never give up on your dreams. Thank you to all involved with our daughters meet & greet. You guys rock!!! All the best, -Horgan Family x Read more here: My name is Kelly and my 8 year old daughter Thalia is a HUGE…

My name is Aaliyah, I am 12 years old and I am from New Jersey….

My name is Aaliyah, I am 12 years old and I am from New Jersey. My Bieber Experience was in April 2010. It all happened when I heard about a My World 2.0 Buyout in New York City at Borders. I was with my cousin Danyelle because we were both searching on Twitter looking for details and stuff. Traffic was terrible so we got there a little late. We got our navigation to the spot where the HUGE crowd of Beliebers were. When we were walking by people, they thought it was a class trip. Once we got to borders, it was crazy. They told us if we didn’t calm down, Justin wouldn’t come. We calmed down quickly because of course we wanted Bieber. I was just shaking, and walking in circles. I heard a lot of screaming and since I’m so small I really couldn’t see anything which sucked. I heard Scooter ‘s voice and I was getting more excited. I was jumping up and down, and the crowd got louder again. Once everyone/everything was calm, Justin went into the store and took some pictures. He came out, and it got crazy again. We had to  separate  into 2 groups to take one big photo with Justin , which you can see in the photo. I was in the first group. (Please don’t make fun of me for wearing a Jacob Black shirt). Scooter had to take the picture and he used someone’s camera. At first, I was ALL the way in the back of the crowd, you couldn’t see me at all. I ran to the end and smiled quickly. I really could have gone in front of Justin, but Scooter was literally about to take the picture. At least i got in it. So after the photo, I ran across to my cousin. I turned around and just looked at him. He was perfect, his hair was just flawless. Once I saw him do the hair flip, oh gosh I died inside. I went into the other group so I can get a second picture, but then I knew that wasn’t the right thing to do because I already got my picture. I stepped out, and just waited for them to be done. After the photos were done, Justin had to leave because he had to go rehearse for SNL. He actually got in a cab and left. I really didn’t want the day to end because it was just amazing. I may not have TALKED to him, but I was at least 10 feet away from him. But I’m not done yet. We heard alot of talking from behind us and saw a little crowd gathered around. I never even KNEW Scooter was still there. Then him and Carin had to leaave. I yelled ” BYE SCOOTER!! ” and he quickly turned around, waved and said bye. -@BieberAchieve/@BieberRauhlin Go here to read the rest: My name is Aaliyah, I am 12 years old and I am from New Jersey….

My name is Javiera and I’m from Chile (South America)….

My name is Javiera and I’m from Chile (South America). Since 2009 I’ve been a huge fan of Justin, so my little sister too. When he announced his tour to South America, I was going crazy! I told my parents to buy us tickets and they did. It was incredible, in 3 days the tickets were sold out! We had to buy distant seats but we felt that we were able to go.  A friend that can’t buy a ticket  because  of money issues said to me, “We can go to the airport to see him”. We went to the airport and there was hundreds of beliebers. We were there for around 2 hours.  When Justin finally arrived, all the girls were screaming and crying. But he didn’t come out. I was crying, I was so sad because he is my all, and I waited there for so long. When I got in the car, a lot of girls were screaming! I got out of the car and went to see what happend. S cooter Braun was there! OMG he made my day! He is so charming! I talked to him and asked, “Why didn’t Justin come out?” and he answered me that he can’t go out because the police, for my safety and for his safety! Meanwhile he autographed my hand and gave a girl a tickest for her and for her best friend! He made her day! She was so happy!  Later on we went to the concert a little bit sad because of Justin but so happy because of Scooter. During the concert Justin surprised us singing ‘Up’.  More: My name is Javiera and I’m from Chile (South America)….

My name is Sarah, I’m 16 years old from Canada and my…

My name is Sarah, I’m 16 years old from Canada and my Bieber experience was on December 21st at the “Home For the Holidays” concert in Toronto, ON. This isn’t a story about meeting Justin, but it was my first time ever seeing him in concert, which was an experience good enough for me. I get Justin’s tweets sent to my phone and a few weeks or so before the concert Justin announced on his Twitter that he was having something special planned for Canada. The second I read that tweet I started crying because I could possibly have the chance to see him in person. He didn’t announce where, when or any details, but knowing he was coming was good enough for me. That day at school I couldn’t concentrate because I kept day-dreaming about possibly seeing him. About a week after that Much tweeted that he would be coming to Toronto (where I live) but they weren’t giving any details about this “secret” concert. My dreams were a little crushed but I kept Beliebing. A couple days after that Much tweeted again that they would be announcing how to get tickets. I started freaking out and called my best friend who already knew about the concert, and we started planning how to get tickets and got really excited about the possibility of going. They finally said that tickets would go on sale on Sunday at 4pm on the Saturday before. I had a really bad flu (so I should’ve slept pretty easily that night) but I woke up every hour because I was so nervous about not getting tickets. At around 3:45pm on Sunday my Dad, Mom, Brother and I set up seven computers in the kitchen to try and get through to get tickets. Not a single computer at my house got through, but luckily one of the ones at my best friends house did and we got tickets in the balcony that were 5th row. I was so happy I cried my eyes out. Every night until the concert I couldn’t sleep because of my excitement. The night before my mom had to give me sleeping pills because she knew I’d be up all night if I didn’t take them. The day finally came and school went by extremely slowly. After school my best friends mom picked me up and we went to her house to get ready. We wore JB santa hats, shirts, tattoos and bracelets. The car ride down was pretty fast and we went out for dinner after picking up the tickets. After dinner we went into the line up to get into Massey Hall and met some other Beliebers, then shortly went inside to find our seats. They were an amazing view and right beside the stage. I couldn’t believe I was going to be so close to him. We then went and bought some of his merchandise and made our way back to our seats to wait for him. 45 minutes after the concert was supposed to start, Scooter came on stage saying that he was running a bit late but would be on shortly. I asked one of the security guards how long the concert would be so I could tell my dad when to get us, and she said about an hour. Finally Justin came on stage and sang “Baby” I cried and sobbed the entire song because I couldn’t believe I was seeing him with my own two eyes. The concert ended up being two hours long, and Justin was asked to finish off multiple times, and he would respond with things like “I’m not done yet, Elf. You guys want another song right?” . The concert was so special because no one else would be able to see one like this and he even picked people in the audience to choose what song he would sing next. It was honestly the best night of my life. I got home and didn’t go to sleep until about 2am because I was still in shock from seeing him. It was the best day of my entire life and I am so thankful I was one of the lucky fans to get tickets. I will never forget this day, and will never give up on my dream of meeting him. Justin taught me to “believe” and “never say never” which I have been doing, and which have helped my dreams come true.  Thank you so much Justin for this amazing experience.  I hope to see you on your Believe tour this year. – @sarahluvsjus10 Read more from the original source: My name is Sarah, I’m 16 years old from Canada and my…

On the 28th of April 2011 was by far the best day of my life, it…

On the 28th of April 2011 was by far the best day of my life, it was the day I met my idol, my  inspiration,  my everything JUSTIN BIEBER! It was the day before the concert  when my bestfriend Ashleigh and I were getting ready for Justin’s concert. We were so excited, we couldn’t actually believe we were going to see him with our own eyes! It was about 6:00pm and I decided that I would cheek my emails because I entered a competition on BieberFever   and I had some hope that somehow I could win the competition. I logged on and saw an email back saying Congratulations Bieber Fan! My stomach just dropped and I started screaming at the top of my lungs, my friend looked at me funny then looked at the screen. She started screaming top. We both ended up running around the house with smiles on our faces for hours! All night long we were just talking about what we would say to him and how over the moon we were. The next morning I got up thinking it was all just a crazy dream but nope I was wrong. We arrived at Acea Area Sydney around 2:00pm . It was so cool seeing all the other beliebers! We walked to the box office and had to wait in a line to pick up our tickets. Once we got the tickets, we were allowed in. I remember walking though the hallways with butterflies in my stomach, this was the moment I had been waiting for 3 years! Ashleigh and I were officially backstage waiting to meet Justin and then Dan Kanter walked out to see everyone! I said, “Hey Dan can me and my friend get a picture with you?” and he said sure. It was so awesome standing right next to Justin’s guitarist. It was our turn to meet Justin next, I can’t even explain what I was feeling. Everything was just numb because I was so excited. The white bodyguard said, “Alright go in”. I wallked in and saw Justin’s beautiful face, he was smiling. It was so strange to see him moving cause usually I only see him on posters. He said hey and he looked at Ashleigh and myself up and down and said, “You girls look beautiful!” I went up to him and introduced myself and he said I’m very pretty. I couldn’t stop smiling. He grabbed my waist and pulled me over for a picture. I couldn’t believe he was actually touching me, it was awesome! After the picture I told him that we brought him a gift that was a hat with lollies in the bag, he said thank you and for us all to enjoy the show. We said goodbye and I even gave Kenny a high-five! It was the best feeling in the world walking out of that room knowing I accomplished my dream of metting my idol. Ashleigh and myself couldn’t believe that we actually did it. I think we sat in silence for like an hour just taking in what just happened. Justin honestly rocked it at his concert, it was everything I ever dreamed it would be. Justin taught me to never say never and always believe in my dreams. It’s the best advice I have ever gotten and I will always remember it when I don’t think I can do something. Thank you Justin. New Year’s Weekend Receipts: 2011 Ends with a Box Office Boost

It was a buoyant holiday frame for the last releases of 2011, with audiences turning out in droves (and likely family-loaded minivans) to boost just about every film in theaters. Biggest congrats are in order for Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol , which is indeed set to make in 17 days what Mission: Impossible III made in its entire theatrical run. And, look! A bunch more people caught the timely holiday spirit and bought a Zoo this week, along with a War Horse and, uh, Garry Marshall’s New Year’s Eve . Enjoy it while it lasts, Garry. Auld lang syne, 2011. Your holiday weekend receipts after the jump! 1. Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol Gross: $31,250,000 ($134,139,000 ) Screens: 3,455 (PSA $9,045) Weeks: 3 (Change: +5.9%) Tom Cruise’s latest spy outing dominates yet again. Pop the champagne and commence the couch-jumping! (I know, I know. That joke is so 2005.) 2. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows Gross: $22,095,000 ($132,100,000) Screens: 3,703 (PSA $5,967) Weeks: 3 (Change: +9.1%) Sherlock 2 may not have the flashy buzz that MI:4 has enjoyed, and it’s trailed behind Ghotocol all these weeks, but consider: its domestic tally is only $2 million behind that of the box office champ. Pat on the back, good sirs! 3. Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked Gross: $18,250,000 ($94,609,000) Screens: 3,724 (PSA $4,901) Weeks: 3 (Change: +45%) Chipwrecked is on track to cross $100 million this week. Look at what you’ve done, America. 4. War Horse Gross: $16,940,000 ($42,969,000) Screens: 2,547 (PSA $6,651) Weeks: 2 (Change: +125.4%) At least one of Spielberg’s two new jams is picking up speed, and how : War Horse ‘s whopping increase, up 125.4 percent from last week, only solidifies those designs on the Oscars. And what a no brainer, anyway — what movie screams “Take the aunts and uncles and cousins and gramps to the movies since you’re still stuck at home after Christmas” like a movie that combines Spielbergian sentiment, old-timey war, and a horse? 5. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Gross: $16,300,000 ($57,100,000) Screens: 2,914 (PSA: $5,594) Weeks: 2 (Change: +27.8%) …unless Fincher + goth punk intrigue + the Yeah Yeah Yeahs + a little rape ‘n’ revenge in the icy climes of Sweden is more your family’s style. In which case, can I come visit next Christmas? 6. We Bought a Zoo Gross: $14,300,000 ($41,787,000) Screens: 3,163 (PSA: $4,521) Weeks: 2 (Change: +52.8) Great! The new Cameron Crowe caught on better this week, probably thanks to those billboards featuring gift-wrapped exotic animals. Just another irresponsible message for audiences to eat up to add to the pile. 7. The Adventures of Tintin Gross: $12,000,000 ($47,841,000) Screens: 3,087 (PSA: $3,887) Weeks: 2 (Change: +23.6%) One out of two ain’t bad, I suppose… especially when the foreign box office is carrying the Belgian boy detective adventure to the tune of $239 million and counting. 8. New Year’s Eve Gross: $6,741,000 ($46,372,000) Screens: 2,225 (PSA: $3,030) Weeks: 4 (Change: +103.7%) Of course there were people who went to the multiplex this week, skimmed past the War Horses and Girls with the Dragon Tattoos , and the Mission: Impossibles , and thought “Y’know what? LET’S GO SEE THAT ONE ABOUT NEW YEAR’S EVE!” Of course. Just die already, movie. 9. The Darkest Hour Gross: $4,300,000 ($13,200,000) Screens: 2,327 (PSA: $1,848) Weeks: 2 (Change: +43.3%) Summit farted a new action-packed adventure into theaters this Christmas with nary a peep of marketing, so we can assume anyone who went to see The Darkest Hour — a movie about killer aliens who look like lightbulbs or light or something — were just playing movie roulette when they bought their tickets. It’ll be out of the top 10 by next week, and out of our collective consciousness even sooner. I guess when you have all that Twilight money you can create your own pre-dumping ground frame before the January dumping grounds even begin? 10. The Descendants Gross: $3,650,000 ($39,675,000) Screens: 758 (PSA: $4,815) Weeks: 7 (Change: +76%) Good on the Alexander Payne drama that, in its seventh week, it managed to sneak into the top 10 with a totally decent per-screen average on less than 800 screens to boot. Let’s see if The Descendants can prove its awards season mettle by sticking it out in the coming weeks. [Figures via Box Office Mojo ]
