Last night Toni Braxton and her beautiful sisters held a meet and greet at the lovely Pranna restaurant and nightclub to promote their new reality show, “The Braxtons Family Values.” The series follows the family as they each navigate the rigors of parenthood, marriage and careers in the music business. A special screening of the first episode was held as Toni was flanked by her siblings Traci , Towanda , Trina , Tamar and their mom Evelyn. Afterward they fielded questions about the series and the details of their personal lives revealed on the show. “My parents divorced after 35 years and 30 days later my dad remarried some one else,” Braxton told the crowd. “My mom and dad don’t get along but are cordial because of us and at Tamar’s wedding dinner on Thanksgiving I said ‘we can’t be the only family going through this. We should tell our story.” One of the more eye-popping plot lines is that Towanda is living an open marriage with her husband. The couple live under the same roof but have no relationship outside of their two children. “We have a don’t ask don’t tell policy,” she said in regards to their romantic lives. “I am not in love with him.” Mix that in with Tamar’s solo career aspirations and there is the making of a pretty drama filled series here! BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES premieres TONIGHT April 12 at 9pm ET/PT on WE tv. Check out the photos below! The Republican’s Great Black Hype: Herman Cain Says “Stupid People Are Ruining America… They Call Me Racist!” [Video]

Herman sounded like a Mississippi preacher on Sunday evening: “They call me racist too because I happen to disagree with the president,” Cain said at the Conservative Political Action Conference Friday. “If you disagree about their liberal leader you must be a racist no matter what color you are.” Cain said his disagreement with Obama was based on policies, not race. “Some black people can think for themselves,” he said. He told the crowd: “You are not racist.” I have no idea. The fact that it has become an issue, or a controversy, does raise a question that I can’t say that I feel one way or the other because I have not reviewed all the various “proof” one way or another.

Lady Gaga Says Born This Way Will Be ‘Greatest Album Of This Decade’

Singer also says there may be up to 20 new songs on the new album. By James Dinh Lady Gaga Photo: Paul Morigi/ WireImage It has been months since Lady Gaga first started hyping her forthcoming album, Born This Way , and the pop visionary recently raised the stakes. During a Monster Ball tour performance in Poland on Friday, the always bold singer promised fans that she’d deliver “the greatest album of this decade,” with possibly up to 20 new tracks. She also revealed that Born This Way doesn’t follow current trends. “I promise you, I’ll never let you down. And not for nothing: The album’s finished and it’s f—ing really good,” Gaga tearfully told the audience , who simultaneous held up signs that read “Born This Way” backward. “So whatever this is, whatever you just did for all of us … I promise to give you the greatest album of this decade, just for you.” The singer, who is prepping a promotional campaign for the album, also touched base on what sounds like a possible dig at her pop competitors, saying, “The funny thing is that some people have reduced freedom to a brand. They think that it’s trendy now to be free. They think it’s trendy to be excited about your identity. When in truth, there is nothing trendy about Born This Way . ” Describing the new album as “a spirit” and “this connection that we all share,” the pop star confessed that her new music “is something so much deeper than a wig or lipstick or an outfit, or a f—ing meat dress. … Born This Way is about what keeps us up at night and what makes us afraid.” Gaga isn’t the only who has been talking up the new material, as everyone from the singer’s manager , Akon , Elton John and Monster Ball opening act Semi Precious Weapons have also gushed about the album. While the songstress told the crowd that the LP will consist of mostly “f—ing sledge-hammering dance,” she’s still unsure of the length of Born This Way, but plans to give fans as much music as possible. “I’m still deciding, the album could be longer than you would imagine … I’m not sure,” she said. “I can’t decide, really, because I think that times are different, you know. It used to be kind of a faux pas to put out too much music on your album, but I feel like you guys deserve all of the records I do, ’cause I work hard on them. So who knows, you might get, like, 20 new Gaga songs .” Do you think Gaga’s new album will live up to her promise? Share your thoughts in the comments. Ann Coulter To Gay Conservatives: Marriage ‘Is Not A Civil Right — You’re Not Black’

Nobody ever said Ann Coulter was going to play nice during her time at Homocon, a summit held by the gay conservative group GOProud over the weekend, not even the organizers who insisted that she be there. Perhaps it came as little surprise to them, then, when the conservative pundit stood before the group of 150 attendees and aggressively railed against gay marriage. Marriage “is not a civil right — you're not black,” Coulter told the crowd, building upon an argument that claimed the equal protections provided by the Fourteenth Amendment — and potentially used to build a case for marriage equality — were only applicable to black people. Coulter, who was dropped from a recent event by conservative publication WorldNetDaily for her supposed traitorous behavior in headlining the gay event, wasn't done taking social issues to the heart of perhaps the most socially liberal faction within the GOP. Talking Points Memo's Megan Carpentier on Coulter's speech: In fact, despite opening her speech with a joke about the difficulty of “coming out” as a fiscal conservative to one's parents — something she congratulated the attendees on — Coulter's speech to GOProud mystifyingly focused on social issues and not the fiscal and foreign policy issues that brought most of the attendees there. For instance, she told GOProud that the conservative gay rights movement ought to make common cause with the anti-abortion movement because, she said, “as soon as they find the gay gene, you know who's getting aborted.” Coulter also made a forceful case against sex education in schools, accusing liberals of attempting to teach kindergartners about “fisting” (which garnered her a heckler, who shouted out “What's wrong with fisting?”) and told the crowd that most parents didn't want their children learning about the “homosexual lifestyle” instead of reading and writing. But the attendees of Homocon can't say she didn't warn them — literally. “I should warn you: I've never failed to talk gays out of gay marriage,” Coulter said at the beginning of the speech. And the organizers of the event didn't seem surprised. “We didn't invite her here because we agree on everything,” GOProud Executive Director Jimmy LaSalvia told the Daily Caller. “We invited her here because we know she gives a great speech and we had a great dialogue on that subject tonight.” As for Coulter, she told the Daily Caller that the gay crowd was actually more receptive to her anti-gay marriage message than they were willing to concede. “The truth is…they're already against gay marriage, they just wont admit it publicly,” said Coulter. “I'm trying to get these gays to come out of the closet.” added by: emarston

Lady Gaga Plays Triumphant Homecoming Show At Madison Square Garden

‘Without New York, I would not exist,’ Gaga tells NYC fans Tuesday night. By Maura Johnston Lady Gaga performs in concert (file) Photo: Getty Images Before her hometown headlining debut at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night (July 6), Lady Gaga tweeted a photo of herself standing in front of the New York arena’s marquee. The photo had no commentary except for the tag “#madisonsquaregaga,” and indeed, it seemed like she was on the verge of taking over the arena in the hours before she took the stage. Some fans were dressed as characters from her videos — the Diet Coke curlers from the “Telephone” clip were particularly popular — while others took her glammed-up aesthetic to the hilt, with glitter, elaborate eye makeup and giant hair bows ruling the night. The fashion statements were all the more impressive given the weather in New York, where temperatures soared past the 100-degree mark on Tuesday. Gaga’s Tuesday night concert was the first of three Monster Ball shows taking place this week in New York, which serves as the setting for the elaborately staged concert. During the course of her show, Gaga and her dancers veered all over the city, from the Lower East Side to the F train to Central Park. But it was obvious that Gaga was very aware that the fantasy world she’d created had been set up inside the arena where, as the young Stefani Germanotta, she took in quite a few performances by music’s biggest stars. “My name is Lady Gaga and I used to sit right over there, way far in the back and way up top,” she said at one point during the evening. She then reeled off a list of artists she’d seen during her past visits to the Garden — Madonna, Cher, the Rolling Stones, Elton John, Kiss. “I used to stare at this side of the room, and I used to think, ‘I’m gonna be up there,’ ” she continued. “Every second you watch me on this stage,” she told the crowd, “you remember, I was sitting where you are.” Later in the show, she dedicated a wrenching performance of “Speechless” to her father, who was in the audience. She recalled the days of him helping her carry a piano down four flights of stairs so she could bring it to shows in the early part of her career and said, while pitched over the piano, “Of all the drunk men in my life, Dad, you’re my favorite.” “Without New York, I would not exist,” Gaga then declared. “But I also would not exist without my friends,” she added, and after a lengthy rundown of the challenges she’d faced with the help of her pals she dedicated her new song “You and I” to them. Her performance of the rock-tinged track was full of passion, stretching into a near-epic where she pounded away on the piano. The obvious nods to New York sprinkled into the evening — both within the show and timed to tonight’s setting — only seemed to energize the crowd, and Gaga fed off the adulation. By the time the night came to a close, there was a triumphant feeling in the air. “We did it, little monsters,” she told the crowd after the night’s closing number, “Bad Romance.” “We made it to the Monster Ball! We made it to Madison Square Garden. “Thank you for making my dream come true,” she continued. “I love you so much.” What do you think of the Monster Ball Tour? Leave your reactions in the comments! Michael Jackson Kids’ Trust Fund: Wisely Managed

For all that’s been written of Michael Jackson’s questionable financial decisions, it looks like he learned his lesson – and didn’t want his kids to repeat his mistakes. He left a fortune to Prince, Paris and Blanket , but with long, long list of strings attached. Under the trust he left for them, the kids get 40 percent of MJ’s estate. His mother, Katherine Jackson, gets the use of 40 percent during her lifetime (when she dies, the remainder goes to the kids), and 20 percent goes to charity. The kids’ 40-plus percent isn’t going to be seen for decades, though. Prince, Paris and Blanket have no control of the money until they are 30. Until then, they only receive an allowance, determined solely by the estate’s trustee. Paris, Blanket and Prince will learn fiscal responsibility – something that their father showed limited ability to handle despite accumulating such a vast fortune . When each of the kids turns 30, the trustees must then give them a third of their share outright. When the kids reach 35, they get half of their share outright. If they screw up, Omer Bhatti gets it all. Just kidding. At age 40, they get whatever’s left. The late icon’s will refers to the trust he set up but the trust document itself is separate, and has just now been released. As for how much the kids will get? That amount, along with the value of the estate, grows every month, thanks to executors John Branca and John McClain. Jackson’s June 2009 death sparked a new generation of interest in his music, and various tributes, movies and song releases continue to rake in the dough.

Miley Cyrus Can’t Let Nick Jonas Go

Let’s hope Liam Hemsworth did not attend his girlfriend’s concert in Portugal on Saturday night. He would not have been pleased to hear the song “Full Circle.” Prior to performing this single for fans in Lisbon, Miley told the crowd: “It’s about two people. They’re always gonna come back together no matter what anyone says or the bad people that try to keep you apart. Surprise surprise, it’s about a Jonas brother.” Ouch . Sorry, Liam. Nick and Miley have a romantic history together, one whose future got a bit brighter after the former broke up with Selena Gomez in April. The chorus of “Full Circle” reads: “I try to run, but I keep on coming back full circle and I can’t jump the track, can’t let you go.” That’s a pretty clear message to Nick, isn’t it? It’s also incredibly profound, as Miley likes to tell everyone her music is, more than any other pop star in the business. WATCH THE PERFORMANCE BELOW AND LISTEN TO MILEY TALK ABOUT HER EX.
