WATCH: Mrs.-Tom-Cruise-Hopeful Nazanin Boniadi’s Nespresso Commercial With George Clooney

Okay, so you’ve devoured Maureen Orth’s Vanity Fair cover story on Scientology’s work-intensive but ill-fated attempt to pair Tom Cruise with Scientologist actress Nazanin Boniadi — a name that will launch a thousand late-night talk-show jokes. Now check out the elegant Boniadi’s sexy Nespresso ad with  George Clooney , an overseas commercial that should also launch a thousand late-night talk show jokes.  Once you’ve watched the clip below, imagine poor Ms. Boniadi scrubbing toilets and hawking copies of L. Ron Hubbard’s Dianetics on the street as, Orth reports, part of her punishment for revealing the whole Tom Cruise-psychodrama to a fellow Scientologist frenemy. (Well, she’s described as a “friend” in the Vanity Fair story, but  what kind of friend turns around an narcs on someone who’s obviously distressed.)  I don’t know about you, but thinking about the exotic Boniadi tearfully hunched over a commode makes me very sad, and I think it’s only right to beseech the gallant Mr. Clooney to swoop in and rescue his commercial co-star, preferably by motorcycle. Tom and Suri Cruise Go to Disney World!

The Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes divorce doesn’t mean they’re not both loving and committed parents to their daughter, as the couple continues to show. It was father-daughter bonding time as Tom took his adorable little girl Suri Cruise to the Magic Kingdom itself, Disney World in Orlando this week. Here’s a fan photo taken of the duo at the park … Tom and Katie’s divorce, which was settled out of court before any kind of nasty legal war could break up, promises him “meaningful and significant contact” with six-year-old Suri Cruise despite her living with her mom. He got it last month when they emotionally reunited in NYC, then again in Florida this week with the Magic Carpets of Aladdin and the Jungle Cruise. Here’s hoping this continues to work out for the best.

Suri Cruise: I Want to Live With Daddy!

A pair of celebrity gossip tabloids apparently have their collective fingers on the pulse of all things Suri Cruise. It’s like they’re reading her every thought. According to In Touch Weekly and Star Magazine, the youngster’s thoughts on the recent bombshell Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes divorce are quite clear: Team Tom. If you believe this (dis)reputable pair of magazines, Suri Cruise was won over by her dad during his recent get-together with her – a $170,000 getaway. Possibly accompanied by Scientology chaperones, the lavish reunion clearly did the trick, with Suri allegedly pleading to be with Tom over Katie now. Suri Cruise, mind you, is six years old. Despite this fact – and that the two settled their divorce and custody pact already in a relatively amicable manner, we’re supposed to believe this? In (slightly) more comprehensible news, the stunning Yolanda Pecoraro is said to be in the running to be the next Mrs. Tom Cruise for a few years.

A Scientology Sideswipe? Katie Holmes And Daughter Suri Involved In Car Accident A car carrying a newly divorced Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri was struck by a garbage truck on Monday night.  And no, Tom was not the driver. Nearly three weeks after filing for divorce from Tom Cruise, life in New York City isn’t without a few bumps in the road for Katie Holmes – literally. The Mercedes she was traveling in with daughter Suri, 6, was hit by a garbage truck Monday night, police confirm. No one was injured. The mother-daughter duo were leaving the Chelsea Piers recreational center – not far from their new Manhattan apartment – when a turning garbage truck rammed into their Mercedes, according to a source. “Suri was crying in the car,” says the source, who adds that Holmes, 33, was not driving. Once Holmes and her daughter were back home, a police report was filed. This is the second time their car has been hit in four days. Last Friday, a paparazzi car hit their vehicle as they were pulling home after a trip to the FAO Schwarz toy store. First her parents divorce and she’s forced to move ….and now her second car accident in one week. Little Suri sure is living the hard knock life lately! Source Image via Wenn

All You Need Is Kill: Emily Blunt on Fighting ‘Fun’ Tom Cruise in Sci-Fi Actioner

Although Emily Blunt came close to being cast in two different Marvel superhero movies, it’s not until later this year that she gets her first action-type role in Rian Johnson’s time travel thriller Looper . But her turn as a gun-toting farm girl is just the beginning for Blunt: She’s currently in intense training to play a lethal soldier in Doug Liman ’s futuristic sci-fi All You Need Is Kill , opposite Tom Cruise . Set against the backdrop of an alien war, All You Need Is Kill (based on Hiroshi Sakurazaka and Yoshitoshi Abe’s Japanese graphic novel) revolves around a soldier who dies in battle only to wake up to re-live the same day over and over again – think Groundhog Day with aliens and Tom Cruise. Blunt will play Valkryie One, a highly-decorated special forces fighter who Cruise encounters while trapped in his time loop. Blunt is currently training stateside before going to London to learn fight choreography for a month ahead of an October filming date. Speaking with Movieline over the weekend at Comic-Con, where she, Johnson, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt presented footage from Looper , Blunt described her regimen for what she describes as “the most ass-kicking role I’ll probably do.” “I basically do ten workouts a week,” she said. “Two a day, five days a week – it’s hell! And I’ve cut out drinking wine, which is really sad! That’s the thing I miss most.” “But I’m going to build these guns out,” she added, flexing her biceps. “They’re coming, right? I’m like that in the mirror. I’m just flexing over and over, and John [Krasinski]’s like, ‘Holy shit!’” Why action, and why now? “Really, it’s about timing and about the right part, the right moment and the right crew of people. It’s never been that I’ve turned my nose up at doing that. This really felt like the right time to do it, and you can’t ask for a better team than Tom and Doug – Doug is such a visionary and Tom is the most accomplished action guy you can find. We sat down a few times, we had a table read and character development talks, and he’s really fantastic in the room with that stuff; he’s very collaborative and very, very professional. And he’s fun.” Audiences who are used to seeing Blunt in films like The Devil Wears Prada and The Young Victoria might not expect to see her tear through battlefields and mow down aliens alongside Cruise – and that might make the shift all the more impressive. “Doug Liman said to me, ‘I wanted to cast you because I don’t think people expect it, and there’s something a bit more lethal about that,’” Blunt recalled. Will we get to see Blunt use her newfound lethal skills Cruise at least once or twice during their time looped adventure? “I can’t say! Maybe there’s a little bit of that… maybe,” she hinted with a smile. “I’m learning martial arts now, so hopefully I have a few scenes where I can take him out.” Read more from Comic-Con 2012 and stay tuned for our Looper chat with Blunt. Tom Cruise SLAMS National Enquirer "House of Horrors" Story, Demands Retraction OR ELSE

Tom Cruise’s attorney, Bert Fields, demands that the National Enquirer and its parent company, American Media, retract its new cover story about the actor’s just- settled divorce from Katie Holmes or face a defamation complaint of epic proportions. Among other tawdry allegations, the magazine claims Cruise’s home was akin to a “house of horrors” and that his estranged wife, Holmes, lived a “tortured life” in a marriage that was a “living nightmare” in virtual lockdown for years. Fields absolutely went OFF on what he said was a “disgraceful and lurid cover with bogus, red and yellow headlines announcing one cruel lie after another about Mr. Cruise and his family” and went on to take them apart one by one: “Contrary to your headlines, Mr. Cruise has not engaged in any ‘abuse’ or ‘humiliation’ of Katie Holmes,” he wrote. “Nor has he ever subjected her to any punishments.” “It is also completely untrue that Mr. Cruise ever subjected his wife to relentless verbal abuse, emotional punishment, humiliation and intimidation.” “These are all egregious lies. He did none of these things.” Regarding the “house of horrors” charge, Fields called Cruise’s residence in Telluride, Colo., a “pleasant and loving home” for Tom, Katie and Suri Cruise. “Suri was not forced to stay for five months in a tiny windowless room,” he added, addressing another bogus allegation made by the tabloid. He also rejected a claim that a “so-called ‘expert'” told the Enquirer that Cruise “displays many of the symptoms of a man who beats up his wife.” Fields demanded an immediate retraction for “each and every one of the false assertions,” which could cause Cruise “hundreds of millions” in damages. Yesterday, a report leaked that Holmes secretly plotted her escape from Cruise with the use of burner phones; this article is entirely separate. UPDATE : The story, a copy of which was leaked to The Hollywood Reporter but has yet to be published in print, was never meant for publication or dissemination and won’t be released, according to the celebrity gossip tabloid. Short story: Do not eff with Tom Cruise.

Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes Divorce Settlement Talks Underway

Lawyers for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are working to hash out a settlement in their divorce case in hopes of avoiding a protracted, public battle. Quite the contrast from Kris Humphries, who’s been fighting Kim Kardashian tooth and nail almost a year later … and getting Myla Sinanaj pregnant . Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Lawyers on both sides are in talks to negotiate a prompt, amicable and private Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes divorce . “Neither one of them wants this to be hashed out in public,” says a source. Holmes’s visit comes after Cruise attorney Bert Fields spoke to the BBC about his plan to let the other side play the media before filing a response. “Tactically we can’t say where Tom will file a divorce case and if he’ll be seeking joint custody of [six-year-old daughter Suri Cruise],” said Fields. Sources say the lawyers are negotiating child custody, visitation, child support and a property settlement between the couple, which has a prenup. The whole settlement could be ratified in New York if all goes well, preempting a rumored move by Tom’s camp to transfer the case to California. Here’s hoping they get it done for their own good, and their daughter’s. [Photo: WENN.com]

Justin Bieber in High-Speed Paparazzi Chase, Cited for Reckless Driving

Justin Bieber was involved in both a dangerous and illegal situation this afternoon, and it all went down on the 101 in Los Angeles. As first reported by TMZ, the artist was pulled over for speeding and reckless driving after L.A. City Councilman Dennis Zine – a witness and former LAPD patrolman – spotted Justin barreling down the freeway in his Fisker Karma, allegedly over 100 miles per hour. Zine believes Bieber should have been arrested on the spot. “Bieber was driving like a maniac,” Zine tells TMZ. “He was weaving in and out of traffic. There was hardly any space between cars as he weaved from lane to lane.” HOWEVER, Zine also acknowledges that Bieber had at least somewhat of an excuse for his actions: the paparazzi were right on his (expensive) tail. Four “reporters” swarmed Justin’s car as soon as it was pulled over, in fact. Sources say law enforcement officials will investigate these journalists for creating a hazardous circumstances, while Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, says his client was cited for going 80 mph and actually dialed 911 himself a short time later because the paparazzi picked up their pursuit. Man. At least Justin and Selena Gomez are doing better these days.
