My name is Ellie, I’m 15 years old and I’m from Liverpool, UK. From the moment I saw Justin, I’ve always been a belieber. I cannot imagine my life without him, he is honestly my everything. My friends and I found out that Justin would be in the UK doing a book signing on the 12th of September 2012. We knew that this was too much of an opportunity to miss. The day the wristbands to meet Justin came on sale, we weren’t quick enough so we didn’t get one, we were SO upset. We knew that we had to travel to London no matter what because we were willing to do ANYTHING to meet Justin. On Wednesday the 12th of September, my friends Michka, Jessie, Beth, Matthew and I traveled 6 hours to London; not knowing where to go or what we were going to do when we got there. On that day it felt as though everything was going wrong. First we missed our train, so we had to get the train to Birmingham and then another train to London. By this point we had no hope that we was going to meet Justin. My friend texted me telling me that he was staying at the Langham Hotel. We got so excited starting to believe that we’d meet him. We got to London and as soon as we got off the train, we got the tube straight to the hotel. We basically ran around London asking every person we saw for directions. There was about 50 fans at the hotel at the time so we stood behind the barrier waiting. After not long of waiting, Dan Kanter came out of the hotel (which for us confirmed that Justin was actually in there!) We had bought Dan a present which was a guitar keyring with the UK flag on it. We screamed, “Dan we have got you a present” and he walked straight over thanking us for it, he is super cute. After waiting a little longer, Moshe walked out of the hotel, followed by Kenny, Alfredo and Justin. We all went crazy, screaming and some fans ran around the barrier and ran at Justin, he looked so scared! My friend Michka asked him for a hug and he said, “Only if you get behind the barrier”. Justin ran back in the hotel which made me think that we weren’t going to meet him. I was so angry at the people who ruined it for everyone else by literally attacking him. Kenny came out and made sure we were all calm and behind the barrier. We promised Kenny that we’d stay behind it. Justin came back out of the hotel, walking straight over to us. Everything around me just froze, I was just focused on Justin, it was like a dream. I literally could not believe what was happening. Through all the years I have spent supporting and loving Justin, the one thing I have wanted to do most is hug him. He came along to each person and got a picture with everyone. He went to my friend Kerris, then my friend Michka and I knew I was next. My heart was pounding so fast. I knew that I had to control myself or I would ruin it and regret it for the rest of my life. Just before Justin got to me, Alfredo was standing in front of me, I shouted him and he turned around and looked at me. I had bought him Oreos so I gave them to him and he gave me the cutest smile and said, “Awwwww thank you.” As Justin came to me, the first thing I did was lean over the barrier with my arms out and hug him. He was so delicate and fragile, I felt like he was going to break. We got a picture and all I kept saying was, “I love you Justin.” He looked right in my eyes and gave me the biggest, most cutest smile I have ever seen. I just broke down in tears. As he was getting a picture with my friend Beth next to me, I just had the urge to stroke his hair, so I did . It was so soft. It was honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me, I’ll never fully believe that it actually happened. After Justin got pictures with everyone else, he got in his car and drove away. Me and my two friends Michka and Jessie chased the car for miles before eventually giving up. We were all so so happy and could not stop crying. Then we were told that Justin’s next destination was Maida Vale Studios which was quite far away but we didn’t care. We ran to the tube station and got the next tube there. When we got there, there was about 30 fans outside so we knew for sure he was in there. We waited for a few hours and then Dan Kanter came out again and we met him and asked him if he liked the present we had gave to him earlier. He said, “Yes thank you very much.” After hours of waiting, we heard screaming coming from another exit of the studios so we ran as fast as we could to get there. We saw Justin but only very quickly as he rushed into his car. We saw Kenny and Allison and told Kenny that we had no wristbands for the signing. He told us just to go down there anyway . We got a taxi to the Camden Centre where the signing would be taken place. My friend Beth and Kerris had a wristband for the signing so we were going to go down with them anyway. We went around the back of the building where we then saw Alfredo (who blew a kiss to us) and Kenny. Kenny came out of the building and got attacked by so many fans. As I was at the front of the fans, I was also getting attacked by people trying to get to Kenny. He then pulled out a few wristbands to get into the signing. My heart dropped when I seen them because I knew if I got one, I would be meeting Justin again. I had people pulling me back by my hair, some people pulling me by my shoulders just to get to Kenny. Kenny looked down at me and told everyone to get off me! When they did, he looked at me and smiled and gave me a wristband! I cant even explain how I felt. I just broke down in tears thanking Kenny and screaming. I ran straight over to my friend Kerris who had a wristband and was just hugging her in tears. I couldn’t believe I was going to meet Justin for the second time in ONE DAY. When we got inside the signing, I was given a copy of Justin’s new book ‘Just Getting Started.’ We walked up the steps of the stage and saw Justin and Alfredo sitting at a table, meeting fans and signing books. Kenny was standing to my right. As I got to him, I said, “Kenny thank you so much for giving me a wristband.” He put his arm around me and said, “No problem, no problem, it’s okay” and then told me to stop crying and that I was supposed to be happy. I wiped my tears and told him that I was happy. As I got to the table, I gave Justin my book, he signed it and looked up and me. I can’t even explain how it feels to have Justin look right at you, it’s the best feeling ever. He grabbed hold of my hand and I said, “I love you so much.” He smiled and said, “Nooo…I love YOU so much.” I kept hold of his hands and then burst out into tears. When I got out, I saw my friends and we were all just hugging and crying. It was honestly the best day of my entire life. I have never been so happy. I’m so grateful for everything thats happened to me and hope that every belieber gets to experience something amazing with Justin just like I did. I’ve also got third row tickets for Believe tour which I’m so unbelievably excited about OH MY GOD. Thank you for reading my Bieber experience. -Ellie @ jbieberisahero  The rest is here: My name is Ellie, I’m 15 years old and I’m from Liverpool, UK….

On 13th of September 2012, my dream came true. I had wanted to…

On 13th of September 2012, my dream came true. I had wanted to meet Justin since 2009 when my sister met him and have been a belieber since then. People always told me to never say never and to believe but it just seemed like a dream. I had come so close to Justin many times before but never close enough to touch him. I had school and I ran home thinking that today was going to be the day. I met my friend Alice in Waterloo and we heard Justin was going to be at Kiss fm so we went to Oxford St but when we arrived, no one was there. They said he recorded it off sight. As you can imagine we were a bit upset but we didn’t give up. A girl on Twitter told me that Justin was going to be at ITV studios at 6 so we got the train back there. Justin waved from the window but did not come out. When we got there everyone was screaming and we ran as fast as we could over and there was no room to get up onto the bars. I fell on the floor in the dirt and ended up sticking my head through people’s legs to try and see him. All off a sudden there he was right in front of me and he said “Hey” and touched my hand. I just burst out crying in disbelief and happiness. Something that I had wanted for so long in my life happened to me. Once Justin had gone inside, a man came out who was working at ITV and we asked him to come over. We gave him a book that we had made for Justin and he took it and promised he would give it to him . Even though Justin hasn’t tweeted us about it, just the thought that Justin may have read it or even just seen it makes me so happy and feel lucky. I didn’t get a picture with Justin, hug him or tell him how much he means to me but I saw him so close. It has given me the strength to believe that I will meet him again and tell him what I want to. My dream became a reality. Even though it seems cheesy and as if it wont happen; never say never and believe that you can do it because if you do, you will meet Justin. I can say that that no matter what happens to me throughout my life Justin, will be someone here to support me and I will always support him and his music. He makes me so happy and he has made such a difference to my life! I will be here until the end. -@BelieberTeensUK Read more here: On 13th of September 2012, my dream came true. I had wanted to…

My name is Shailee, and I’m from London, England. I have…

My name is Shailee, and I’m from London, England . I have been a belieber since 2009, and I am so grateful that I have met Justin THREE times! I never in a million years thought I’d be able to say “Hey, I met Justin Bieber,” but dreams really do come true! It all started back in December 2010. First Step 2 Forever had just come out, and Justin was scheduled to be doing a book signing. I was on Twitter, on Friday night, and everyone was saying “OMG JUSTIN’S DOING A BOOK SIGNING IN LONDON” and I was just like what?!?! They were selling out really fast, so I convinced my Grandma to let me buy one, since they were only £20! Two days later on the 5th December 2010, I met Justin! I had gone alone, and was waiting by myself in the freezing cold for around 7-8 hours! It was so worth it. Then the time came, and we were taken upstairs, and standing before us was the most perfect flawless human being in the world. Everything about him was perfect! I was starstruck and couldn’t even speak or move. I got shoved into a picture with two girls I had never even met before. During the picture I had my arm around Justin, and although I only ‘met’ him for like 5 seconds, it was the best five seconds of my life! After we got a picture, he looked at me and said “Thank you for coming, I love you” then hugged me! My second Bieber Experience was September 12, 2012. I was actually in the car when I got a BBM from a girl I met on Twitter saying that wristbands for a book signing for Just Getting Started, were going on sale the next morning at 10! That night was the longest night of my life! I ended up getting wristbands! It still didn’t feel real that I was meeting Justin in a few weeks! In the 2 weeks before the signing, I had got loads of beliebers to send me pictures of themselves to put in a frame to give to Justin . The day came, and I don’t know how I survived school that day knowing I was meeting the most famous kid on the planet in a few hours! I left school early to meet my two friends @Katyabieberr and @ChloeEmmaBurney. We got the train to Camden Center (the secret location) way before the signing was meant to start and the queue was already massive! After waiting for ages, we finally got into a room with a stage. When we were least expecting it, Alfredo walked across the stage, and then Justin ran across the stage pulling faces at us! We finally got to the front of the queue and went into the room, and Justin was sitting at the table! He looked absolutely flawless! He signed my book, high-fived me and winked at me! I also gave Justin my frame and he was looking at it and smiling, then he gave it to Moshe and he stared at it for a few minutes! As I left the room, I saw my friend in the queue, and she told me she had a spare wristband and asked if I wanted to go again, so of course I said yes! The second time I met him was even better! I got the whole thing on video! The 12th September 2012 was the BEST day of my life! I actually caught Bieber Fever. Literally. Since Justin was ill, and supposedly thrown up like 10 mins before I met him, the next day I woke up with a temperature! Coincidence? I think not. So yeah, I have Justin’s germs. Be jealous. -@ShaileeBieber See the article here: My name is Shailee, and I’m from London, England. I have…

On August 30th WHSmiths confirmed that Justin would be doing a Book Signing in London. The next day wristbands went on sale at 10am  (the website crashed in 2 minutes. Power of the Beliebers) and luckily after trying for almost an hour, I purchased a wristband! The next couple of days flew by and finally the day came, September 12, 2012! I was on my way to the train station tweeting on my phone when all of a sudden I got a mention saying ‘Congrats on the RT!’ so I went onto Justin’s Twitter page and saw that he RT’d me , so then I start freaking out! After the train journey, I finally arrived in London and went straight to the “secret location” where the book signing was being held. Once I got to the venue I saw at least 200 people queuing up already. I joined the queue. The line started to move slowly and after around an hour of waiting, I finally got inside and got given a copy of Just Getting Started. I walked into the hall and saw a stage with a black curtain drawn and loads of Beliebers sitting on the floor reading through the book. Whilst waiting in line for Justin to come I was on my phone on Twitter and all of a sudden I see that Justin has RT’d me again…like seriously? I was in line waiting to meet him and he RT’d me twice in the space of a couple hours . Could my day get any better? Fast forward to 2 hours later. All of a sudden everyone starts screaming! I look up and see Moshe walking off the stage and then all of a sudden Alfredo walks past the stage! Then around 5 minutes later we all see this pink/red sleeve behind the curtain, Justin. Everyone starts screaming “Justin” and then he was teasing all of us by popping his head out of the curtain, he then ran across stage and waved to everyone. After about 30 minutes the line started to move really quick and before I knew it I was walking up the steps and behind the curtain. When I first entered, I saw Kenny and then I moved forward and I finally saw Justin! I walked up to him and gave him a Believe Wristband and he smiled at me then signed my book. Then I had to move on! I sneakily managed to film Justin whilst signing my book (Camera’s or Phones were not allowed but i managed to hide my phone in my pocket) After I walked outside it finally hit me that I just met Justin. I’m so grateful I was able to meet him in person finally and that memory will stick with me forever. I cant express how blessed I am for all of this to happen. From the RT’s on Twitter to meeting him in person. Don’t give up on meeting him or getting noticed by him because it’ll eventually happen as Justin says Never Say Never and Believe. -Pippa @UKBieberDay See more here: On August 30th WHSmiths confirmed that Justin would be doing a…

Ever since I joined Twitter in June 2009, I always told myself I…

Ever since I joined Twitter in June 2009, I always told myself I would meet this one boy from Stratford and his crew but, I never believed it. I constantly saw tweets from my followers saying they had met Justin and the crew and I literally crumbled! But through the months (and years), some of the crew started following, re-tweeting and tweeting me. Kenny followed me a few months ago whilst Mama Jan tweeted me in 2010. But I wanted nothing more than for Justin to follow me (which I’m still waiting for!) but at least he’s retweeted me! When Justin said he was coming back to the UK to do a book signing , I knew I had to go! On 30th August 2012, I woke up at 9:30am with a tweet from one of my followers asking me if I was going to the signing and at first, I had no idea about it!! I jumped out of bed straight away and went onto the website to purchase my wristband and after 1 hour of trying, I finally bagged myself one! When the day of the signing came, I was so hyped and as soon as I got there, the nerves started kicking in! When Justin came out on stage, I was so excited! I smiled so big when I saw him, Alfredo and Kenny onstage and I couldn’t wait to meet them!! After waiting for at least an hour, it was finally my turn to meet Justin! I had a little conversation with Kenny before I got to him and he even gave me a cuddle before I left! Alfredo said ‘Hey!’ to me and as soon as I got to Justin, I’d never seen someone smile so wide!! When I got to the table, Justin said ‘How are you gorgeous?’ which made the butterflies in my stomach flutter even more! We had a tiny conversation and before I left, I made him pinky promise me he’d read my letter and follow me and to my surprise, he grabbed my little finger and pinky swore with me! Never in a million years would I have thought I’d be meeting Justin and I’ll always remember this day! (12/09/12) This sounds super cheesy but for all those beliebers out there that haven’t had the chance to meet him yet, NEVER SAY NEVER! -@danielleelovato Read the rest here: Ever since I joined Twitter in June 2009, I always told myself I…

My name is Courtney and I am 13 years old. My Bieber experience started on June 18, 2012. The day before, I heard that if you buy the Girlfriend perfume package at Macy’s in New York City, you get tickets to Justin’s secret concert that night . The next morning I went to school and then when I got home, my mom and I drove to pick up my cousin. Then we went to the train station and headed to NYC. Finally when we got to Penn Station, we ran to Macy’s and bought Girlfriend. We were so lucky because there was only 50 packages left! Gianna and I were so excited because we never saw Justin on concert before and we couldn’t get tickets to the Believe Tour. I also heard there was a Believe CD signing at J&R Music Store the next day and they were giving out wristbands that day if you pre-ordered Believe so of course we went.  When we finally got to J&R we ran downstairs to pre-order the CD and we got our bracelets! Gianna and I were freaking out because WE WERE GOING TO MEET JUSTIN DREW BIEBER THE NEXT DAY! After that we went to the concert and it was amazing even though it was extremely hot in the Apollo and the power went out. Justin sang about 10 songs including OLLG that he sang to little Avalanna. It was the cutest thing on earth! The next day I had another final exam so I  had to go to school before we went to the city. During the whole test I kept zoning out and thinking about meeting Justin. I was so excited! After school we went to pick up Gianna again and then went to the train. We got to J&R at about 2:45 and we were almost last on line! The people said it would be about a 3 hour wait but it was worth it! At 5:00 we were finally getting close to the front of the line! At one point everyone on the other side of the street that was on line started screaming so we looked around to see what was going on. It turned out to be that Ryan Good was walking past the line to go to Starbucks that was down the street! I couldn’t believe I saw him! When we got to that side of the street he walked back to the music store! He was so close to me, I could almost touch him! When we finally got inside the store I was really freaking out! We got up to the table and I put my CD down. Kenny was sitting down beside Justin. Gianna and I told Justin we loved him and he smiled at us! It was so amazing! After a few seconds we had to leave to keep the line moving. I couldn’t believe I just met Justin Drew Bieber!!!! After the signing, we went to Time Square near MTV because he was performing there next. We met other people we know there and waited for Justin to hopefully come outside. We were waiting there then all of the sudden Moshe walked pasted us! Of course we all followed him and he went into a sunglass store. My friends went inside and got his autograph but I went back to where we were waiting. After a few hours we were walking down the street and then we saw Dan Kanter and Scrappy! There was a bunch of fans surrounding them and asking for pictures and autographs. He almost left but I asked him for a picture really quickly and he took a picture with me! I was freaking out!!!!!! After a few hours we saw Justin left in a car with black tinted windows so I didn’t see his face but at least I met him that morning! I went home after that and I could hardly sleep that night! Thank you Justin! I never thought this would ever happen to me! It was one of the best days of my life! -@BeingABelieberr See more here: My name is Courtney and I am 13 years old. Hapless, Incoherent Gymkata Earns Gold for Unintentional Laughs

With the world in the thrall of another Olympiad, it’s time to dig up an appropriately athletic title from the vaults. And given the disastrous performance of U.S men’s gymnastics team in London, I will be doing my part to salve that psychic wound by drawing attention to an even bigger acrobatic disaster: the 1985 film Gymkata . The late, legendary Wide World of Sports anchor Jim McKay was renowned for bringing us what he called “the human drama of athletic competition,” and in that arena, the Olympics rarely disappoint. Gymkata , on the other hand, fails spectacularly. The drama is non-existent. The athletic display is jackhammered into the storyline, and the performances can be said to be many things, but human is not one of them. This is a gold-plated disaster, and it is one worthy of display. What exactly is Gymkata? The movie’s tag line describes it as “The skill of gymnastics. The kill of karate.” In reality, it was MGM’s unintentionally hilarious attempt to cash in on the excitement behind the gold-medal-winning U.S. Olympic Men’s gymnastics team of 1984 by building a clunky action/adventure movie around a buff gymnast and a fictional form of martial arts. To those ends, the studio cast a once-promising athlete Kurt Thomas, to star in the picture. Thomas had been expected to win gold at the 1980 games in Moscow, but the United States’ boycott of those games scuttled those chances. I’d love to know what Thomas considers more disappointing: being denied his Olympic dream or his appearance in this movie. Handsome athlete in hand, MGM grafted on the action/adventure angle by optioning a pulpy 1957 novel, The Terrible Game , by Dan Tyler Moore, hiring an unproven TV writer Charles Robert Carner to script it and a chop-sockey film director, Robert Clouse, to helm it. All that was left was to slap an action mullet on Thomas and yell, “Action!” The movie begins with slow-mo footage of Jonathon Cabot (Thomas) performing on the horizontal bar, intercut with shots of stampeding horsemen pursuing a lone individual. This man is chased to a ravine and as he tries to cross by suspended rope he is shot with an arrow and plunges to his death. We learn that this was Cabot’s father, and soon Jonathon is being recruited by the U.S. government to join a new fighting corps because he’s needed to infiltrate the country of Parmistan — an Eastern-bloc nation, possibly known for its hard cheese — where the government wants to establish our satellite defense shield. Jonathon is told that once he infiltrates Parmistan, he needs to compete in a centuries-old contest called “The Game”, where the winner is rewarded with his life, and one request. His training is overseen by Princess Rubali, who is said to be an expert at The Game. This designation is dubious at best given that nobody has won The Game in 900 years. Cabot’s training is even more unconvincing, although highly entertaining. Walking up staircases on his hands turns out to be a key form of training, if only so that the camera can linger on Thomas’ crotch as he repeatedly practices this skill. Predictably, Cabot and the mostly mute Princess hook up and once he’s fully trained, then head to Parmistan, where faster than you can say “freshly grated,” they encounter trouble. The Princess is kidnapped, and Cabot engages in the first of numerous skirmishes using his newfound Gymkata skills. Thomas is also given plenty of opportunities to elude danger using a combination of vaulting, floor exercises and other gymnastic skills. And yes, things get even more ri-damned-diculous: In one scene, Cabot uses a crude pommel horse that he just happens to come across to dispatch a crowd of attackers as they come at hi in take-a-number fashion. Once, the Game portion of this train wreck gets underway, Gymkata becomes even more incoherent and contradictory. Despite repeated claims that there are strict rules to the Game, they are repeatedly ignored. And, at one point, Thomas undercuts his stoic leading-man aura by whining about how other contestants are cheating. Late in picture, Cabot learns that his father did not die from the arrow that found him at the beginning of the movie — only to see his pops take another shaft. “Just win,” father tells son before he drops for a second time. A climactic battle follows where Jonathon eventually snaps his opponent’s neck with his thighs of steel. The victorious Cabot rides into town with his still-breathing father, who apparently is harder to kill than the dismembered Black Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail . Jonny wins the Game, gets the girl and is reunited with his now sieve-like father, but the filmmakers can’t leave well enough alone. A title card then states the Ronald Reaganesque reason that the ending is truly happy: “In 1985 The First Early Warning Earth Station Was Placed in Parmistan For The U.S. Star Wars Defense Program.” If watching athletes who are more fit, skilled and graceful than you’ll ever be leaves you with a feeling of inferiority, then Gymkata is your remedy. If the flailings of a onetime Olympic hopeful trapped in a hapless, incompetent production don’t make you feel superior, they will at least make you laugh like a champion. On the 15th of July 2012, I was lucky to see Justin. So close I could almost touch him. It started the night before, I was reading a news article about Justin and it said that he was staying at the Olsen Hotel in Melbourne. I was screaming and was so excited that I knew I could maybe finally see him up close. But I wasn’t sure of it. I didn’t think I would see him but I knew that I wouldn’t leave the next day without seeing him. It was about 9.45am and I had just got on the train with my 2 friends to Justin’s hotel in Melbourne. We got to the hotel and we were hesitant of whether to wait at the front or back of the hotel, but we chose the back because there was camera crew, security and it was the carpark where Justin had been spotted earlier the day before. I got a little nervous and worried that he wouldn’t get out of the car or I wouldn’t see him because there were so many girls! We got there at 11am after taking trains, trams and all sorts of transport. At 12pm a black Mercedes came and parked on the side . We all started screaming and just ran straight for the car. We were all told to wait and be patient and Justin would come to greet us all. So we did. Kind of. We were still screaming when out came the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. Justin Bieber. He got out and started signing autographs, taking photos and giving hugs. Then he came over to our side. I tried to touch him but I ended up getting stuck between people. I was not even a meter away from Justin. I looked up and saw his face and I looked at him and he looked back straight at me. Then I started screaming so loud, oh my God. He mimed, “Thank you I love you” to all of us and then got in the car and left. A girl tried to open his car door and get in the car. I saw a black van drive off too and in the front was Kenny! I was right up against the glass and waved at Kenny, he smiled and waved back. Best day of my entire life, the fact Justin came out of the car and spoke to us and interacted with us was unbelievable. Thank you Justin. I love you More here: On the 15th of July 2012, I was lucky to see Justin. So close I…

My name is Taylor and I live in New York. My story starts on Friday June 15th, 2012. My friend and I went into the city looking for Justin. We were on Twitter all day and found out about the J&R signing . We went to J&R expecting a huge line for wristbands. When we got there, there was 2 people in front of us. After we got our wristbands, we were freaking out because we have never met Justin before . We were so excited and freaking out. After that, we were going to get something to eat when my friend got a text about where Justin was staying! There was about 15 girls there and we were all standing by the parking garage waiting for him to come out/go in. I heard a man on his phone next to me, so I turned to look at him. I then realized it was SCOOTER BRAUN . He looked at me and said, “Shhh” because he wanted to see if anyone else noticed him. Finally, a girl screamed “Scooter?!” and he looked at me and said never mind. We all got pictures and talked . Then he started to talking to my friend and I about our town because he was arrested there. After like 40 minutes of talking he left and said Justin was on a plane going to Canada. We left so excited for Tuesday. Tuesday finally arrived and I woke up so excited. We met my friend at the train and we went down to J&R. We couldn’t believe we were finally meeting Justin after the 3 long years we have waited. We got there and said, “Is this the back of the line?.” The guy said “No, it’s all the way down there around the bend.” Me and my friend looked at each other scared that we weren’t going to meet him. We finally got to the end of the line and we were sitting next to these 2 girls. We talked to them the whole time. We were barely moving and I was so nervous that he was gonna leave before he got to us. We were then finally moving after 2 hours of sitting. We crossed the street to get to J&R Music World and that meant we were meeting him in the next 10-20 minutes. We finally got into the room and I saw Justin sitting with Ry Good.
