Stressed and Unhappy? Try Emotional and Mind Mastery

By Jay Levin There are three internal elements of yourself that determine whether your life is satisfactory or not.  One is how often – and to what degree – you either feel negative emotions or bottle up the ones you don’t know how to express safely. Because of lack of training in just exactly what to do with negative emotions, for many people a good day is one in which neither stress, anxiety, worry, anger, resentment, frustration, sadness, depression,  grief or sheer numbness are dominant. In other words, for most people to feel really good most of the day and enjoy a great range of subtle pleasant emotions is the exception, not the rule.  The general rule is: “Hey, it’s great when I feel some joy breaking in to my usual stress, unpleasantness, or bottled up numbness.” Elements two and three involve the mind. Element two is the mind chattering to you all the time, constantly trying to figure it all out and wondering whether this or that will work for you, or how this or that person is going to respond to you, and commenting on and concerning itself with everything. In most modern societies we develop this chatter in childhood as a response to needs of ours that otherwise are not being met – and most of us go to the grave with our minds chattering away and believing that this is the way of all humankind, not realizing how much such unnecessary and changeable “mentalizing” obscures our intuitive wisdom and knowingness while robbing us of peace of mind. Element three is the critical part of the mind that watches your own and everyone else’s every move and is perfectly happy to find fault with others as well as yourself. At its worst this inner voice of judgment robs us of self-confidence and self-esteem while doing real damage to our relationships and to friendships and family members- and often enough to our careers. The good news is there are absolutely superb tools available via which you can dramatically alleviate all three of these elements. There are skills and techniques you can learn that allow you to master your emotional body so that you can alter negative feelings almost immediately and heal the profoundest of traumas. Learn these skills and you don’t need a therapist. There are also skills by which you can gradually end the mind chatter and master the critic, so that your mind is free to perform in a remarkable manner you have rarely experienced. These are techniques developed over the last 40 years which have a solid scientific foundation and were simply  not available to your ancestors, and probably not even to your parents. It is these and additional skills for dealing with other aspects of life – including finances, career, family and relationships –  that a good Life Coach brings to the table. In fact, a healthy way to define a Life Coach is a teacher or tutor guiding you to a post-graduate level of doing life well, rather than the grade school or lower level many people are educated to. Another way to look at it is that the goal of Life Coaches like myself is to teach you to be so skilled in dealing with your challenges that you become your own life coach and therapist. Then, as you share your learning with friends and family, you become a source of helping other people’s lives improve. In short, it’s a big win all around.  I’m happy to help you get started. *** For more info click here:   http://www.lifecoachrehab.com Go here to read the rest: Stressed and Unhappy? “She Want Me!”: Best Moments From Last Night’s “The T.O Show” [RECAP]

Last night was the second episode of “The T.O Show.” Terrell is still recovering from his traumatic surgery and his doctors tell him that it will be challenging for him to play football in the upcoming season. Terrell becomes even more motivated from the doctor’s words and he puts his plan into action to be ready to go for the season. Kita reluctantly becomes Terrell’s “nurse” and tries her best to help him get better in the best way she can. She attempts to cook him a meal which turns out HORRIBLE and according to T.O had “strands of hair and weave all up in it!” Kita then goes to pick up Terrell’s black and yellow sports car from Alabama and blast’s Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” all the way back to Florida before getting stuck in a ditch! The show ends with Terrell and Kita having a playful/ flirtatious argument which makes it so obvious that they like each other!! LOL Did you enjoy last night’s episode? Will you tune in next week? Casey Anthony Treated For "Obvious" Mental Problems

Casey Anthony has “obvious mental health issues.” That is obvious. What was less clear is how and where she would treat them. Well, it appears that she is receiving professional psychiatric help at home in Florida. She’s concerned about leaving home – where she’s serving probation for a check fraud conviction – but knows she needs help, a TMZ report says . Not healthy . Whatever you think happened, there is a lot of work to be done here. The solution to get the help she needs while circumventing death threats is to have a “team” of mental health professionals visit her regularly. Casey Anthony has also employed the help of a spiritual adviser. The 25-year-old, who was acquitted of murdering her toddler, denied killing little Caylee Anthony, but attributes her undeniably bizarre behavior when her daughter went missing in 2008 to serious mental health deficiencies. Sources close to Anthony say she needs to cope with the “obvious trauma of losing her child.” Guilty or not, spending nearly three years behind bars in solitary confinement while awaiting trial for murder didn’t help. “It messed with her head,” said a source. Casey is also bettering herself by going to college online .

REVIEW: In Search of Fresh Style, Brighton Rock Loses its Soul

Graham Greene’s 1938 masterpiece Brighton Rock is an enduring curio of fiction: A literary pulp novel ahead of its time, a gangland allegory of sin and the cost of redemption, and perhaps most fascinating, a pre-WWII oracle anticipating the traumatic British century to come. It’s a prism through which all the harrowing perils of class strife, organized crime and romantic love bend and refract into Greene’s glowing white weave of language, which, when projected onto a screen, have yielded both an equally classic 1947 screen adaptation and now Rowan Joffe’s troubled updating.

Julianne Hough Shitty Bikini Pics of the Day

I know there’s a 90 percent change Seacrest is using Julianne “Huffer” Hough as a frttont….cuz I still think there’s no way he’s not a poofter…whether he wants to admit he ate out Cowell’s ass or not….but I think there’s also a 90 percent chance she’s a 14 year old sex worker he imported by Russian mobsters…cuz really she’s got this pudgy faced look that makes you think she could be a hard faced 14 year old who hasn’t slept for a week from all the trauma she’s faced from sucking off old men to learn the ropes before being sent to Hollywood…but I could be wrong. But what I do know is that here she is in a bikini type outfit, clearly looking to get herself a better life…and apparently it is working for her….but I still think a teen fetish porn career, even if it involve gang anal rape and being shit on, would have been less humilating than being seen with Ryan Seacrest.

‘Harry Potter’ Stars Felt ‘Weird’ During Epilogue Scene

‘The images of me still haunt me,’ Rupert Grint tells MTV News of his flash-forward makeup. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” Photo: Warner Bros. Though the story of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” ends with Harry’s battle against Voldemort, the real goodbye to the franchise comes through an epilogue sequence at the end of the movie. It’s a scene MTV has been talking to the cast of the “Harry Potter” films about for many years, especially after the creative heads decided to age the stars using makeup instead of cast a new set of actors. Now that the film is less than 24 hours away from being released, the stars were ready to open up about how they felt about the final “Harry Potter” scene. “With the way it ends, it definitely got balanced right, it was believable, but it was a weird scene to film,” Rupert Grint told MTV News. The actor better known as Ron Weasley had to shoot the epilogue sequence twice after director David Yates decided that the first attempt didn’t work as well. In the scene that is used in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2,” Ron has gained a pot belly and some stubble, but the first version also featured a serious receding hairline and some unflattering jowls. “The images of me still haunt me,” Grint admitted with a traumatized look on his face. “It was like this monster Donald Trump kind of mixture. It was scary.” His co-star Tom Felton agreed that Grint had not looked particularly attractive the first time, but he wasn’t entirely happy with how his character, Draco Malfoy, turned out either. His real-life girlfriend, Jade Olivia, played his onscreen wife in the sequence and he got to wear a muscle suit — “It was quite cool, I felt quite ripped” — but despite his “lovely goatee” and longer hairstyle, Felton wasn’t entirely satisfied with the results. Unfortunately for the “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” star, he and Olivia “nailed it” the first time, and thus weren’t called back for reshoots. “They were pretty cruel, don’t you think?” Felton asked. “Nineteen years, they were supposed to base it on Jason Isaacs! I look like Jason Isaacs’ dad! I mean, come on.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .
