Once Upon a Time Season 6 Promo: It’s Aladdin!

Once Upon a Time producers Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis didn’t just tease Once Upon a Time Season 6 at today’s Comic-Con panel discussion in San Diego. They actually provided a look at the first three minutes of the season premiere! The footage focuses on two characters new to the ABC series, but very familiar to Disney viewers. The first is Aladdin, who will be played by Deniz Akdeniz and who appears to be in pretty terrible shape when we first meet him. The second is Jafar, who will be played by Oded Fehr and who appears to have gotten the best of Aladdin (to this point) in the Once Upon a Time version of these characters. Jafar is taunting the famous “savior” below, mocking his status as a hero and saying things never turn out well for heroes. They never get their “happily ever after,” which, of course, is a theme throughout Once Upon a Time. The reveal of Aladdin and Jafar arrives on the heels of a string of other Season 6 castings, such as: Giles Matthey (24: Live Another Day) as Morpheus. Craig Horner (Hindsight) as the Count of Monte Cristo. There will also be the returns of Cinderella/Ashley (portrayed by Jessy Schram) and Dr. Archie Hopper (Raphael Sbarge). You can watch Once Upon a Time online via our friends at TV Fanatic and you can check out the first three minutes of the Season 6 opener below. It will premiere on Sunday, September 25 at 8/7c.

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra: Evicted!

Teen Mom lovers/parents/step-siblings Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have been evicted from their apartment in Marine City, Michigan. The reason? Not paying rent. That’ll do it. The 19-year-olds, who gave their daughter Carly up for adoption, signed the least last August. The big move was even featured on Teen Mom . Ah, the wonderment of their own place … it didn’t last long . But, according to court documents, they stopped paying rent in December, so their landlord gave them an eviction notice and took them to court . It didn’t turn out well for the pair. Catelynn and Tyler forfeited their $450 security deposit, paid an additional $450 in back rent and moved out. No word on where Catelynn and Tyler plan to live next. A Brief History of Your New Wonder Woman, Adrianne Palicki

27-year-old actress Adrianne Palicki is your new Wonder Woman/Diana Prince/Diana Themyscira — but who is Adrianne Palicki? The statuesque Ohio native has been a presence in TV of late, though even her most critically acclaimed shows ( Friday Night Lights, Lone Star ) tend to run into bad luck sooner or later. Take a look at the brief history of Adrianne Palicki’s acting career thus far and decide if you think she’s fit to fill out Lynda Carter’s pantyhose.

Great Day For Movie Lovers: Martin Scorsese and 5 Other Singular Directors Announce New Projects

Somewhere in between false rumors about an Olivia Wilde Tomb Raider reboot and hopefully untrue speculation about another Terminator sequel , six interesting directors including Martin Scorsese, Richard Kelly and Kimberly Pierce announced new projects today. Thanks, movie-news Gods!
