Band will perform at the July 22 show, marking their first performance in nearly three years. By James Montgomery No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani Photo: Bryan Bedder/Getty Images No Doubt are putting the finishing touches on their first album in more than a decade (we still don’t know what it’s called, but we do know it’ll be in stores September 25 ), and now, they’ve announced their return to the stage: July 22, at the Teen Choice Awards. The band broke the news via their Twitter account, writing , “You may have heard the rumors … and yes, we will be performing on the Teen Choice Awards in July!” At the moment, No Doubt are the only artists confirmed to play the TCAs, which air July 22 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. It also marks their first performance since wrapping a summer tour with Paramore in 2009 and a pair of Bridge School benefit shows in October of the same year. In recent months, there’s been an uptick in activity on the follow-up to 2001’s Rock Steady album, which No Doubt have been working on in earnest since 2008. Sessions for the new album have been helmed by producer Mark “Spike” Stent, and the band has been keeping fans updated on developments through Twitter and with in-studio videos. The first of those videos shows ND polishing a Diplo and Switch track called “Push and Shove” and, according to their tweets, other new tunes include “Undone” and “Heaven.” Last summer, Rolling Stone got an advance listen to a handful of songs from the album, including “Settle Down” and “One More Summer.” It’s not known if those tunes will end up making the final cut for the still-untitled album. A new Pusha T song, “Exodus 23:1,” is the cause of a budding hip hop feud between the artist and Lil Wayne’s Young Money crew, including Drake. In the song, Pusha T does not name either Drake or his YM boss Weezy, but it’s apparently obvious to peeps who listen to this stuff what he’s referring to. As a result, Wayne fired back at Pusha T and his supporters via Twitter: “Fuk pusha t and anybody that love em,” he wrote on the social media site. On “Exodus 23:1,” Pusha raps: “Contract all fucked up / I guess that means you all f–ked up / You signed to one n—-, that’s signed to another n—-, that’s signed to three n—-s.” “Now that’s bad luck / Damn that sh-t even the odds now / You better off selling this hard now / You call it living out your dreams / You can’t fly without your wings.” What that means, we have no f–king idea, but it sounds hardcore, based on all the profanity, and Lil Wayne is clearly far from pleased about it. Still, Rocky’s crew has had its share of critics — most recently, a veteran dirty South producer. “We need some new H Town rappers to blow up. Why the f— there all these fake ass Houston knock off artists from up North and West,” Mike Dean tweeted Sunday. “I mean rep where you are from not us. We gotta stop this sh– ASAP!!!!” “He was just talkin’ subliminal about Northern people. You gotta look at it like even Bun B embraces us, and we look up to him too,” Rocky said when he appeared on “RapFix Live” on Wednesday. “Not only that, it’s love when we’re out in the H-Town, and on top of that, he was bumpin’ us. Get off that old head sh–.” Dean, who now works with Kanye West and produced a number of tracks on Watch the Throne , made his name with songs for Houston rap legends Big Mello, Z-Ro and Scarface. After some back and forth, Dean tweeted that he “wasn’t speaking on anyone in particular” and thanked Yams for keeping the H-Town movement alive. Yams joined Rocky on the “RapFix” couch Wednesday, saying, “You gotta realize, we’re a whole ‘nother generation. We didn’t just grow up on our sound regionally. We didn’t just have DJ Kay Slay mixtapes. We were 8 years old when Master P and Cash Money was coming out, so we still had that as an option. My name is Budoor, I’m 18, and My Bieber Experience finally happened on April 27 th , 2012 at the Tribeca Film Festival! I’ve been trying to meet Justin for years now! The first time, I went to his concert in Philadelphia November 14, 2010 when I traveled all the way from Bahrain (Middle East) to New York (14 hours worth of plane ride) and took a train to Philly to see his concert for a day. Although I didn’t get to meet him, I saw him in concert and ever since that day, I made it my mission to meet him. I recently moved to Toronto and have been trying to jump at any opportunity I would have to meet Justin. Being unlucky me, I would always miss his appearances in New York or Toronto by a day or by a week because I had to be somewhere else and there were no excuses to miss out on those personal things going on. I was devastated! So for days and nights, I would prepare what I’d say to Justin when I meet him, what pose I’d have in the photo, and what I’d be wearing. Ridiculous, I know, but I cant help it! ANYWAYS, it was the beginning of April 2012 when it was announced that Justin would be attending the film festival on April 27 th and I was going to be done with exams on the 23 rd . I booked a flight for the 26 th purposely so that I could go and see him , but I didn’t tell anyone about this trip just in case I wasn’t going to really see him because I was still unsure as to whether he would go to NYC. April 26 th at night, he tweets that he’s in NYC. After seeing my friends that night, I went to sleep at 4 AM and woke up at 8 AM to go and see Justin at NYU. Grabbed a Starbucks coffee, took a taxi there, and when I reached, there were only 5 other fans there. We stood outside waiting for Justin to come and the crowd got bigger but not as big as I expected. We were hardly 50 fans! Suddenly, Justin’s car drives from the front and goes around the building so he can enter from the back. All the fans ran to go and see him, but us, being the first ones there and first by the rail, decided to stay and wait until he leaves. We were determined. However, the security at the place told us that he wouldn’t be seeing us and that there was no hope. There was a young girl with us who cried loads for not seeing him and we tried to console her, but they kept on saying that it wasn’t sure anyways that we were going to see them . Our answer to that was why would he and Scooter tweet this exact address! It was heartbreaking but I will thank her EVERYDAY! Her crying made them feel bad and they suddenly took us 10 fans to the back on top of the stairs where Justin would first leave. I quickly got my spot and took out my camera. It was about 1 PM now. We were waiting and waiting and I was getting more and more nervous. I was focused on taking that picture with him! First, Kenny came out and I screamed his name. Then came Alfredo and I did the same, but they just walked past and into the car. We kept on waiting and waiting for Justin and random people would open the door and leave, which made it more and more frustrating! And suddenly at around 2, JUSTIN SHOWS UP! OMG, I DIED!!! I screamed so loud and kept on repeating “JUSTIN I LOVE YOU”! I didn’t know what else to do other than attract his attention to take that photo! He walked right up to the guy next to me and then I told him, “Justin, PLEASE A PHOTO!! PLEASE!!” So he comes up, grabs my camera, and takes the photo. Just as I was about to take the camera from him, he’s like “Hold on, let me check if the photo turned out alright”. DAMN THIS KID IS NICE!!! I was blown away at how kind he was.. I mean, I already knew but WOW, who does that?!?! Then he walked away and came back to the people next to me to sign autographs and I screamed to him, “Justin I came all the way from Canada” and he was like, “Canada? Really?! Wow”. And he walked away to take pictures with other fans! IT WAS AMAZING!! I STILL CANT BELIEVE IT HAPPENED!! Justin is the nicest person I have ever met in my life and also very generous. The same day he tweeted he was going to Fuerza Bruta for Usher and I went to look for him, but then decided to go back home to spend time with my friends and give Justin his space. I got what I wanted from him for the day, but it would be amazing to see him again and tell him all about my Belieber stuff! Big Willie from Philly don’t play that isht!! Will Smith Slaps Reporter That Tries To Kiss Him According to TMZ reports : Will Smith just slapped a Ukrainian reporter across the face at the Moscow premiere of “Men in Black 3″ — and it was all caught on tape. The Ukrainian reporter tries to kiss Will on the lips on the red carpet and the actor angrily pushes him away and then backhands him across the face. You can clearly see that Will is incredibly pissed that the guy showed overt affection toward him. After Will slaps the guy, Will says, “He’s lucky I didn’t sucker punch him.” We’re told the dude who kissed Will is a television reporter who often kisses celebrities — it’s his schtick. For the record, Will just came out in support of gay marriage. A source on scene tells TMZ, the reporter’s mouth brushed up against Will’s and that’s why the actor reacted so violently. Despite the incident, Will stayed positive … and happily continued to sign autographs for fans and do red carpet interviews. What the fawk was this guy thinking?!
