Young Keke Palmer is out there grinding! In addition to a role in Tyler Perry’s latest star studded production, Keke has added a new title to her already impressive resume. She will be starring in and producing a new musical film “Ragz,” also produced by TeenNick Chairman, Nick Cannon. Rodney Jerkins will serve as music supervisor, and music video director, Bille Woodruff, will serve as director. Keke posted on her official site, “I loved the project so much that I wanted to be a producer on it as well , I even got to make suggestions on the script which influenced the music, and speaking of the music, we were so fortunate to have been able to steal Rodney Jerkins, and his amazing writing team, away from American Idol long enough to write all of the fabulous music!!” Get it KeKe! 50 Cent is rumored to be going after DJ Pauly D of MTV’s wildly popular Jersey Shore with a three-album contract in hand. 50 wants to sign the DJ and reality television star to his G-Unit label. TMZ reports that 50 & Pauly met recently in New York City to discuss the record deal. Also on the agenda were talks about a potential line of Pauly D-branded headphones. No signatures have been committed to paper yet, but it’s believed that 50 wants the deal done before Pauly and the rest of his Jersey Shore cast head to Italy to film the show’s fourth season. Tyler Perry portrays the wisecracking, no-nonsense grandmother Mabel “Madea” Simmons in the upcoming Madea’s Big Happy Family , but this weekend, Perry made another grandmother’s family very happy after he handed over the keys to a brand new house. 88-year-old Rosa Lee Ransbury’s home burned down just one week before Christmas in 2010. The news of the fire reached Perry, who decided to have the house rebuilt. Perry also completely furnished the house. Ransby, who lives in rural Coweta County, GA with her seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren, met with Perry and more than twenty of her family members on Friday outside of the four-bedroom, 2,500 square foot home, where Perry gave them a tour of the house.
