He used CDC measurements of how an average 19-year old woman would look – shorter in stature, with a curvy body and flat feet – and Lovato is a HUGE fan. “That new @barbie’s got BACK!!!!! Hahahaha #bootybootybootyboottrockineverywhere” Lovato Tweeted of the doll, adding that she is “AWESOME.” Demi, of course, has been very open about her history of eating disorders and has been an advocate for young women with self-esteem issues across the board. She recently admitted that she was suicidal at the age of 7 . And now, thanks to Lovato’s efforts, perhaps future 7-year olds will have their confidence restored over the sight of a plumper Barbie doll.

He now faces a total of five charges, one count misdemeanor domestic violence and four counts of misdemeanor vandalism. He could face up to five years in jail if convicted across the board and is due in court for a hearing on July 22.

The murder of Skylar Neese by her two closest friends – one of whom confessed to stabbing her and lying about it for months – shocked her hometown. Skylar, a West Virginia teen, disappeared on July 6, 2012 and for six months her family and friends searched for her and pleaded for her return. Rachel Shoaf and an unidentified teen had been her best friends for years and they cried with her parents and helped look for their missing friend. All the while, knowing they were guilty of her murder . Skylar, 16, came home from work at a fast food restaurant and was last seen on surveillance video in her apartment complex climbing out of her bedroom window. When Skylar didn’t return that night or go to school or work the next day and her parents alerted the police and a six-month long search for her began. Rachel and the other girl, who has not been identified because she has not been charged as an adult yet, were constantly with Skylar’s parents. “She walked in when she came here. She didn’t even knock. She was like our daughter,” Dave Neese said of their relationship with the unidentified girl. The girls misled investigators and Skylar’s parents until January when Rachel finally confessed that they had lured their friend out with them. At that point, they drove her to a remote area in Wayne Township, Pa., where at an agreed upon time, they stabbed her repeatedly for unknown reasons. During the May 1 hearing prosecutor Marcia Ashdown said the girls tried to bury Skylar but were unable so they covered her body with branches. Her mother, Mary Neese, said the girls didn’t tell the truth and that is how they were finally arrested. “One after another, just lie, lie, lie,” she said. “Did the same thing to the police.” “That’s how the police got onto them, because they would forget what they told them at one point and tell them another, totally different story.” Classmates of the girls told authorities that they even overheard them talking about the murder but didn’t believe that they were telling the truth. The unidentified teen posted a picture online with Skylar and wrote a note begging her to come home, despite being involved in her disappearance.
So this apparently happened today: Jonathan Cheban – the best friend of Kim Kardashian – was flying from New York to Los Angeles when a woman Tweeted a threat at the reality star. “Jonathan Cheban is on my flight, should I cut him with my weapon?” she wrote, adding: “I gotta pretty intense pocket knife with mehhh.” Somehow, the authorities were alerted to these messages and detained the unidentified passenger once the flight landed at LAX. It has to be the first time in history that a Tweet led to a possible arrest, at least a Tweet about wounding Jonathan Cheban. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians regular did Tweet “Police?” in response to the initial messages, but says that was the extent of his involvement in the strange case. In the end, the woman was searched and released when no weapon was found. She then tried to make it up to Cheban with: “It was a bad joke … you look really hot babe.” So now we know she’s crazy.

She nearly came to blows with a woman on a flight to New York on Tuesday for allegedly hitting on her hubby, Atlanta Falcon star Kroy Biermann. The fracas began after the other woman thought Zolciak and Biermann had entered the bathroom to join the mile-high club — and the unidentified passenger also wanted to become a member with Biermann. “I’m claustrophobic in the bathrooms on planes, so I always have my husband hold the door [shut],” Zolciak told us at a Bravo presentation at Pillars 37 Studios. The other woman apparently mistakenly thought Biermann slipped into the toilet with Kim for an intimate encounter. Zolciak said that when she exited, “This lady’s looking at me like I’m going to get it on with my husband in the bathroom . . . I’m kind of walking back to my seat and my husband walks out, and she looks at him and winks and [starts] flirting.” Back at her seat, the reality star told Biermann she was going to go back and confront the woman. Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson says the unidentified woman was taken to a hospital Monday for treatment of numerous non-life-threatening injuries. The police spokesman says 32-year-old Caleb Grotberg was arrested for investigation of several domestic violence felony crimes, including strangulation, fourth-degree assault and second-degree kidnapping. He’s due in court Tuesday. Observers have been saying this about the singer for years, dating way back to 2007 when she shaved her head and attacked the paparazzi with an umbrella – but now actual legal representatives for the superstar are making it official. Britney’s lawyers filed documents in court today relating to her four-and-a-half year conservatorship, requesting that certain records remain sealed because they are “highly sensitive” and would cause “irreparable harm and immediate danger” if released. Sources tell TMZ the documents in question are of medical nature and they concern Spears’ condition and treatment . Yes, Britney is doing “extremely well” these days, the insiders confirm, but her unidentified disorder can affect her personality and state of mind. As a result, there are no plans to end the conservatorship, which consists of Jamie Spears and Jason Trawick sharing responsibility for Britney’s personal life, while a more general business conservatorship handles the star’s fortune and career opportunities.

Apartment Complex Photo: Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t just rush to action on the big screen. The “Hunger Games” starlet was walking her dog outside her L.A. apartment complex Monday when she stumbled upon a young woman lying on her back on the lawn. According to X17 , Lawrence raced over to help the young woman while someone nearby called the paramedics. A photographer on the scene told the photo agency, “Jennifer ran outside her apartment when she heard a girl scream and immediately called 911. When the EMT arrived, she stayed to make sure everything was OK. She was really scared for the girl.” The Santa Monica Police Department told TMZ , “The young lady who collapsed was a juvenile and was part of a group that was together,” adding that “alcohol may have played a role in the incident.” Lawrence, sporting a casual look in gray sweatpants and a black tank top, got on the ground to assist the woman and stayed by her side until paramedics arrived. It’s unclear why the woman was in front of Lawrence’s property, but paramedics treated the unidentified woman on the scene, and she was then cleared to leave. Lawrence isn’t the only celebrity who has played superhero recently: Patrick Dempsey came to the rescue a little less than two months ago, saving a teenager who crashed his car outside the “Grey’s Anatomy” star’s house. Lawrence is gearing up to reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen in the “Hunger Games” sequel “Catching Fire,” slated to hit theaters in November 2013.
