Mitt Romney Introduces Paul Ryan as "The Next President of the United States"

Mitt Romney picked Paul Ryan for Vice President this morning, and apparently thinks very highly of him, as Paul received a promotion within five minutes! Okay, not really, but in introducing the Wisconsin Congressman and rising GOP star to a Norfolk, Va., crowd, Romney finished his remarks with a gaffe: “Join me in welcoming the next President of the United States, Paul Ryan!”

Quote Of The Day: “In Latin America, If You Don’t Have A Big A$$, You’re Nothing.”-Sofia Vergara

Well, Ms. Vergara, you were never known for your huge a$$ soooo…?? Sofia Vergara Covers Allure Magazine Sofia Vergara has never hidden the fact that she’s a woman with curves, but in a recent magazine interview, the “Modern Family” vixen reveals that it’s not just about having a voluptuos figure – it’s about the attitude you have that really completes the look. “The guys I know love it,” she told Allure magazine of exhibiting her sultry feminine side. “You don’t have to win Miss Universe, but you have to feel attractive, and you have to feel wanted. “I have so many friends that are Latin, and they’re not Miss Universe, but they have something, and they get more guys than the really tall, blonde, perfect model that is just standing there. So I think it is the attitude of you believing that you can get whatever you want.” The busty bombshell Colombian actress goes on to address the two massive, jiggly, elephants in…her bra. Vergara, 40, also revealed that she has a bra size of 32F, something that she knows is unusual in Hollywood, but not so unusual for Latin women in general. “Nobody with real boobs usually has those measurements,” she laughed, adding that she dislikes working out. “My a$$ gets smaller, and my boobs get smaller,” she explained to the magazine. “I don’t mind when the boobs get smaller. I don’t like when the a$$ gets smaller. In Latin America, if you don’t have a big ass, you’re nothing. “We’re loud. We’re passionate. We’re coloful. We’re voluptuous … I am not scared of the stereotype of the Latin woman, because I think that’s fantastic.” We think you’re fantastic too Sofia, for at least two reasons, but we’re not sure how some of your fellow ironing-board a$$ed latinas will feel about being called “nothing”. Obama Responds To Critics: “I’m Not The President Of Black America”

In an interview with Black Enterprise President Barack Obama directly addressed criticism over his perceived lack of involvement in the African-American community. Peep how he handled it below: How do you respond to criticism that your administration hasn’t done enough to support black businesses? My general view has been consistent throughout, which is that I want all businesses to succeed. I want all Americans to have opportunity. I’m not the president of black America. I’m the president of the United States of America, but the programs that we have put in place have been directed at those folks who are least able to get financing through conventional means, who have been in the past locked out of opportunities that were available to everybody. So, I’ll put my track record up against anybody in terms of us putting in place broad-based programs that ultimately had a huge benefit for African American businesses. We think he handled the question well — any other answer might have opened the door for all kinds of bs from right wing conservatives. Of course it’s likely that known Obama haters like Tavis Smiley and Cornel West will jump all over this one — just cuz he wouldn’t rather be at a New Black Panther rally or something like they act like he should want to be. Christine Sinclair, Canadian Soccer Star, Blames Referees for Loss to U.S.

American fans may still be celebrating Alex Morgan’s game-winning goal , which sent the United States into a Gold Medal showdown with Japan on Thursday. But Christine Sinclair, who netted a hat trick for Canada in this semifinal soccer matchup, has a very different reaction to the outcome. She feels screwed by the referees. “We’re disappointed and upset. We felt that the referee took it away from us,” the Canadian captain tells the AFP. “We feel like we didn’t lose, we feel like it was taken from us. It’s a shame in a game like that, which is so important, that the ref decided the result before the game started.” Sinclair’s beef stems from two key penalties called against Canada: First, a very unusual time-wasting penalty was called against goalie Erin McLeod. It resulted in a free kick for the U.S., which led to another controversial call, this one a hand ball. “In an important match it’s a disappointment that the referee had such an impact on it. We feel cheated,” Sinclair said. Canadian coach John Herdman backs up his star, referring to the whistle blows as “bizarre” and adding: “If the United States were honest, they’d know they got lucky.”
