We know Cierra Ramirez best from television shows like The Fosters , but the actress is also a talented singer. In a new single that takes cues from Ma$e’s 1997 hit “Feel So Good,” the rising star makes it clear she’s all about “Bad Boys.” In case you didn’t know, the 23-year-old hit the ground running with her viral song “Faded” last year, which has over 4 million views since its release and was the #3 most added song at Top 40 Rhythm Radio last summer. So what inspired the new single? According to the track announcement: “Bad Boys” is an alluring, up-tempo track, inspired by the classic film Cry Baby which is Cierra’s favorite movie. In writing and recording the captivating song, Cierra was inspired by the idea that as she says, “Too many people are “playing it safe” in life and instead of following their hearts and passions, they are living up to other people’s expectations. Source: NBC / Getty Kanye West appeared to be returning to his old self after announcing a move back to his hometown of Chicago and preparing a new album for the masses. As a last-minute replacement musical act for SNL ‘s 44th season opener, West turned in a performance many folks are criticizing while also rocking a MAGA hat and delivering a rant supporting President Donald Trump. New York Post reports : West, wearing a red “Make American Great Again” hat and the show’s cast standing behind him, launched into the screed off camera, but it was caught on video by comedian Chris Rock. “I wanna cry right now, black man in America, supposed to keep what you’re feeling inside right now,” he sang as he paced the stage. He continued: “The blacks want always Democrats you know it’s like the plan they did, to take the fathers out the home and put them on welfare. Does anybody know about that? That’s a Democratic plan.” Then he turned to his support of Trump. “There’s so many times I talk to like a white person about this and they say, ‘How could you like Trump? He’s racist.’ Well, if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago.” West performed a bizarre “I Love It” set with Lil Pump, and “We Got Love” with Teyana Taylor before attempting to rock “Ghost Town” when SNL producers cut his set short. The news comes after numerous websites erroneously believed that the long-awaited album would be dropping last Friday, though no one from Young Money or Wayne himself confirmed the news. So Friday morning at 12:01 AM, expect plenty of Wayneheads to be shedding tears of joy. It’s the first release of his that won’t have the Cash Money imprint on it as he and Birdman settled their years long court feud. Wayne believed he was owed millions in unpaid royalties from the label, one he had called home since he was a teenager. Tha Carter V was originally announced in 2014 but has been delayed and stuck in perpetual limbo ever since. Wayne has released projects in the interim including last year’s well-received Dedication 6 and D6: Reloaded along with the joint album Collegrove with 2 Chainz . Watch his announcement video below.

Bridget Kelly has a big fan base in London, new music to promote and a show but she decided to make a bigger spectacle of it by inviting her girls. It’s La’Britney, Moniece, Teairra Mari, Brooke, Paris, and Nikki. But the thing is, some of these women are plus ones and you already know there’s tension in the overall group. Teairra is annoyed with Paris and Nikki because she feels like they deserted her when it came to her sex tape drama. Teairra doesn’t really rock with Moniece like that because she feels she deserted her back when she was going through rehab. Moniece doesn’t rock with Paris. La’Britney and Moniece don’t rock with each other, and Brooke is Brooke so you already know she was talking smack to the rest of the girls about last week’s studio situation with RoccStar and Moniece. In other words, you never know how this is going to go. via GIPHY Once the girls get settled in London, La’Britney doesn’t hesitate to call Moniece out for spreading rumors about her allegedly sleeping with A1. Moniece said that she was just repeating what she heard from someone else. It was Lyrica who said that. Remember when Lyrica was pissed that A1 and La’Britney were working together and she just assumed that their relationship was more than just business? Yeah, that. But anyway, La’Britney then says she heard that Moniece slept with K. Michelle. via GIPHY Moniece says that she and K. Michelle are good friends but the only box she’s munching on is her girlfriend AD’s. That don’t mean she never got it on with K. Michelle though. Anyway, back to their little discussion, it surprisingly doesn’t escalate and they eventually seem to get over it. La’Britney basically explains (later on) that she only slid into A1’s DM’s for business purposes and makes the good point: DM’s is how a lot of people, especially in entertainment, especially millennials, create amazing opportunities to secure the bag. In fact, the entire trip thus far is actually okay-ish. There’s tension but no one is throwing drinks and tugging hair…for now. Teairra even seems to get back on the right track with Moniece and Paris. Nikki is kinda just there. Back to Bridget Kelly. She has a press day (at the home they’re staying in) since she’s actually in London because she has a show coming up and to promote new album, Reality Bites . Enter Brooke. So… Brooke bogarts Bridget’s interview because y’all know she does that. In her mind, she was spicing up the interview because Bridget was being boring (but in reality, Bridget was actually being professional). So she steps into the mix talking about she’s still alive (because no one has really heard from her musically since “Girl Fight”) and plans on coming out with new music. Then she brings La’Britney into the mix. La’Britney is actually working with Lady Leshurr . The latter is a rapper from the UK and she’s dope (do your Googles if you’re not familiar). That’s cute and all, but this isn’t La’Britney’s interview. Then Teairra comes out just to tell the girls that the chicken she was making was almost ready and of course the reporters drag her into the interview. She doesn’t want to be a part of the interview but sits down anyway, as if she really didn’t have a choice in the matter. And of course, they ask her about the sex tape. TT is annoyed by that question and then another reporter asks where they can see it. Now that’s just rude! Teairra storms back into the house. Bridget follows behind her to make sure she’s okay. She’s also pissed that Brooke derailed the whole interview before she could even talk about her new music. TT locks herself in her room and doesn’t want to be bothered. That’s that. Next week Bridget will call out Brooke for her thirsty behavior and it looks like Solo Lucci and Marcus will be joining the fun in London. Wayans has requested primary custody of the pair’s two teen daughters, which Metoyer, who stars on Basketball Wives , says is a ploy for the actor to pay less in child support. The Blast reports : Sources close to Metoyer tell The Blast she’s lawyered up and is prepared to square off against Wayans, who is requesting primary physical custody of their teenage daughters. He claims Metoyer isn’t taking the kid’s education seriously, and believes she’s doing them harm. However, Metoyer’s legal team tells us they find it “curious” Wayans is making a request for more custody right as he’s also launching a new “lucrative” primetime network show, “Happy Together.” We’re told Metoyer and her legal team believe Wayans only wants more custody to avoid paying more in child support, because in California child support is commonly established based on the income of the highest earning parent and the percentage of custody they have. Kanye West is currently in rebrand mode cause he really wants us to listen to his forthcoming new album. He has been very active on social media lately especially on his Instagram account. Jay-Z and Kanye’s friendship has been on the rocks since West expressed his sadness about Hov and Bey skipping his wedding. Kanye gave fans a glimmer of hope for a Throne revival when he shared a picture of Jay-Z and Beyoncé on his Instagram account with the caption “famleeeeee” cause he thought the singer was wearing a pair of his $650 shoes from his YEEZY season 5 collection. Welp, they were not, Beyoncé was instead rocking a pair of stylish $50 shoes from Public Desire. Ye should have known Beyoncé has better taste than that. We don’t know if Kanye has been informed of the mistake yet because the picture is still up on his timeline. We honestly hope Kanye and Jay-Z have worked on their issues because frankly, he could use his big brother back in his corner. Agents investigating Shakey’s in Harrison Township, Ohio were able to pose undercover as patrons and exchanged lap dances and drugs for food stamp benefits. Dayton Daily News reports : Agent-in-Charge Michelle Thourot said agents began investigating the Twenty Two Fifty Inc., also known as Sharkey’s, 6028 N. Dixie Drive, in May 2017. During the investigation at Sharkey’s, agents were able to purchase drugs and lap dances using food stamp benefits. Throughout the five-month investigation, agents reportedly exchanged $2,404.87 in food stamps to purchase heroin, fentanyl, carfentanil, cocaine, methamphetamines and lap dances. Criminal charges were filed against employees and patrons for drug trafficking, food stamp trafficking, aggravated shipment and distribution of heroin, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, and illegal sexual activity. The Lagos, Nigeria native launched the company in 2013 with the mission to utilize augmented reality as a learning tool. The robot figures—which are called MekaMons—can be controlled with smartphones and players can utilize a Bluetooth functionality for their robots to battle each other. Users can also use code commands through Apple’s Swift Playgrounds coding app to control their robots. Adekunle—a graduate of the University of West England—says he couldn’t reach this level in the tech industry without the guidance and support from his alma mater. “When I started out, I had amazing support from my university and the Bristol Robotics Lab – but communicating the potential of MekaMon, as well as the technology itself, to people outside of that world required some imagination,” he told Pulse . “We believe that this technology has huge potential within STEM education – both as a teaching aid and as a means to inspire the next generation – whatever their backgrounds – to aspire to a career in STEM.” Adekunle says that he wants to use his journey to inspire the youth in Africa to pursue careers in STEM. “I hope that I might be a positive example of what is possible for kids in Nigeria with the same passion for dissecting technology and developing devices that I did at their age,” he told the news outlet.
