It looks like Vanessa Hudgens is stepping up her game, here she is at the airport looking good in a nice see through top. No need for one of those creepy x-ray machines here, although I would like to what else she’s got under there. I think the only thing she’s hiding is a nice little body, but if I were a security guard I’d be very suspicious of this one, I think I’d have to take a closer look just to make sure… This might take a while.

I like the thigh high boots and short shorts combination, I can think of a few women closer to my age who should probably try this look out. Like the girl who works at the at the wine store around the corner… You know who you are.

Bridgit Mendler and Adam Hicks: The Next Major Disney Stars?

With Corbin Bleu on Broadway, Zac Efron starring in Charlie St. Cloud and Vanessa Hudgens going bad ass , Disney is in need of a new set of young stars. Enter Bridgit Mendler and Adam Hicks. These actors have been cast in Lemonade Mouth , an 2011 Disney Channel film that follows a quintet of high school students who meet in detention and form a band. Mendler, who stars in Good Luck Charlie , will take on the role of lead vocalist Olivia White; while Hicks (Zeke and Luther) portrays keyboardist Wen Giford. Bridgit Mendler and Adam Hicks : The next Zanessa? Other names rounding out the cast include: Tisha Campbell-Martin, Christopher McDonald, Nick Roux, Chris Brochu, Naomi Scott, Blake Michael and Hayley Kiyoko. The movie is based on the book Lemonade Mouth by Mark Peter Hughes. Keep all these names in mind. You’ll likely hear a lot more from them in the future.

It’s a week of beautiful couples on the red carpet. First, Brangelina showed up for the Hollywood premiere of Salt , looking as radiant as ever. Then, it was Zanessa’s turn yesterday, as Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens smiled for photographers and posed for fans at the premiere of Charlie St. Cloud at at the Regency Village Theatre. The movie opens on July 30 and stars Efron in the title role. His character deals with the loss of his brother and finds a love interest in actress Amanda Crew. Katy Perry Talks ‘Gorgeous’ Video For ‘Teenage Dream’

So for “Teenage Dream,” the album’s second single, Perry headed to the beach. In photos taken from the video shoot for the title track, Perry is seen canoodling with a hot guy in a hotel pool in her hometown of Santa Barbara, California. The guy is rumored to be actor Josh Kloss. In another still, leaked online , a bikini-clad Perry is kneeling in the sand, looking up at a scantily clad man, presumably Kloss. Perry tweeted about the clip as well, writing , “Cut, copy, print, moving on! That’s a wrap for Teenage Dream! So gorgeous, I really can’t wait to see what [director] Yoann Lemoine makes of it all!!! In my hometown. I got to cast all my friends in the new music vid for Teenage Dream = amazing insanity.” Previewed at a listening party last month, the radio-friendly title track picks up right where “California Gurls” leaves off. With a strong beat to back her up, Perry sings about a boy who makes her feel like a teenager again. “I wrote that song in Santa Barbara and it was a very pure moment for me, because that’s where I’m from,” she told MTV News in early June. “And it was, like, where I started my creative juices. Vanessa Hudgens Says ‘Sucker Punch’ Would Be ‘So Badass’ In 3-D

By Kara Warner, with reporting by Tim Kash Vanessa Hudgens Photo: MTV News Vanessa Hudgens’ upcoming film roles are definite departures from her squeaky-clean work in “High School Musical” — particularly in the upcoming action-thriller “Sucker Punch,” directed by “300” helmer Zack Snyder. When MTV News recently caught up with the young star, she revealed just how different the role really is. Hint: She’s traded singing for slinging bullets. Although the film will present at Comic-Con this weekend, Hudgens said it is far from completion. “It’s probably, definitely not done,” she said. “There’s so much CGI in it, it’s ridiculous.” Regarding the film joining in on the popular 3-D trend, Hudgens was enthusiastic about “Sucker Punch” going that route. “It would be so badass,” she said. “It’s already really badass, but having it in 3-D … having my tomahawk fly towards your face, [it would be] just too cool, you know?” Speaking of badass, Hudgens continued to cite the gun-slinging as her favorite aspect of filming. “Shooting a .50-cal [machine gun], there’s nothing like it,” she said with a smile. Hudgens added that she and her female castmates (including Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish and Emily Browning) found a new sense of empowerment with their gun-wielding skills. “I think all of us girls loved it so much. We’re all strong individuals, and when you give us a gun … you kind of unleash something.” Hudgens is also excited for fans to see a sneak peek of footage, which will premiere at Comic-Con in San Diego. “I’m going for the first time, and I’m so excited!” she exclaimed. “I want to go dress up in a mask or paint my face so I can walk around in the crowd.” Most of all, Hudgens can’t wait to see the first clip from the film, which is slated to premiere Saturday. “I’m really excited [for fans to see it]. Zac Efron And Vanessa Hudgens Call Release-Date Shuffle ‘Disappointing’

Sometimes, even the individuals closest to the projects are left in the dark — particularly with regard to movie release dates. Such is the case with Zac Efron’s “Charlie St. Cloud” moving into the release date previously held by girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens’ “Beastly.” When MTV News caught up with Efron to talk about “St. Cloud,” we asked him what he thought of his film taking over the “Beastly” weekend. “It was disappointing,” Efron said. “It was hard. I actually had to break the news to her. I was like, ‘I think we are moving on to your date.’ … She took it really well, but it’s hard when that kind of stuff happens. We don’t, as actors, have any control over it, so we’ll see. I mean, hopefully it will work out for the best. ‘Beastly’ is a great movie, and when it does come out, people are absolutely going to love it.” In talking to MTV News about her film being pushed to March 2011, Hudgens was equally diplomatic. “I just didn’t feel right about us having movies coming out on the same day,” she said. “It’s just not right.” It could have been fun for a little friendly competition, though. “True,” Hudgens admitted, “but, I don’t know, I just don’t think it’s fair to either of us.” She added that the delay has given filmmakers the time to perfect the film. “We’re actually going to be doing some re-shoots and changing it up a bit, so hopefully we’ll make it that much better.” What do you think of the release-date shuffle? Total hunk alert! A pair of talented dancers walked the red carpet of last night’s ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, as Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Zac Efron both posed without their significant others. For Maks, Erin Andrews was busy battling Lindsey Vonn in her own Fashion Face-Off; while Vanessa Hudgens simply didn’t accompany Zac to the event. But that just gave Efron more time to prepare for this match-up against the smooth Dancing with the Stars professional, a man who makes his living competing with other attractive people on a global stage.
