Hide Ya Kids: 46-Year-Old Mother Sentenced To 16 Months In Jail For Chopping Down Underage Boys During Slumber Party

Only 16 months for stealing a child’s innocence? Mom Jailed For Having Sex With Minors According to Mail Online A 46-year-old woman has been sentenced to 16 months in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting two boys who played on her son’s hockey team. Kathia Maria Davis, from Laguna Niguel, will also have to register as a lifetime sex offender, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office said. The court was told that Davis had sex with a 16-year-old boy on four occasions between July 2010 and 2011, and engaged in sex acts with a 14-year-old during a slumber party. One of her victims wrote a statement that was read to the court, according to NBC 4. It read: ‘Holding all this in as a child forced me to grow up in ways I never wanted to. She took the things that I loved most and ripped them out of my life.’ The victim added in his statement: ‘I will never know what could have been.’ A jury found Davis guilty in August last year of four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with the 16-year-old and two misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Prosecutors said that divorced mother-of-three gave the 16-year-old alcohol and, on one occasion, encouraged the boy and a teenage girl to drink alcohol during a party at her home. The suspect would have parties for members of the hockey team. This also involved some sleepovers,’ Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Jim Amormino said after the allegations were first made. Davis was arrested at her home in September 2011 after the older boy told his mother about the abuse, according to CBS Los Angeles. The jury in the first trial was unable to reach a unanimous verdict about the allegations of sex crimes against the younger boy. However, at a trial last month, Davis pleaded guilty to four counts of a lewd act with the 14-year-old. Davis was given credit for the 474 days she has already served, and is expected to be released from Orange County jail within a week, her attorney, David R. Cohn, told Patch. Where were the parents? Florida Crazies: Hostage Holding Gunman Kills 6 In Apartment Complex Before Being Shot Down By SWAT!

WTF?!?! Florida Man Killed By SWAT After Taking Hostages In An Apartment Complex Via NYDailyNews A gunman holding hostages inside a South Florida apartment complex killed six people before being shot to death by a SWAT team that stormed the building early Saturday following an hours-long standoff, police said. Sgt. Eddie Rodriguez told The Associated Press that police got a call around 6:30 p.m. Friday that shots had been fired in a building with dozens of apartments in Hialeah, just a few miles north of Miami. Rodriguez said that when police arrived, they discovered an active shooter situation: “He’s inside the building, moving from floor to floor. Eventually he barricades himself in an apartment.” A crisis team was able to briefly establish communication with the man. Rodriguez said negotiators and a SWAT team tried talking with him from the other side of the door of an apartment unit where he was holding two hostages. But Rodriguez said the talks eventually “just fell apart.” Officers stormed the building, fatally shooting the gunman in an exchange of gunfire. “They made the decision to go in there and save and rescue the hostages,” Rodriguez said. Both hostages survived. Rodriguez said he didn’t have any information on how long negotiations lasted. If we didn’t know any better we’d say the mental health of people in America is rapidly deteriorating… He said police discovered two people, a male and female, shot to death in the hallway in front of one unit. Three more, a male and two females, were found shot and killed in another apartment on a different floor. Another man who was walking his children into an apartment across the street also was killed. Rodriguez said it wasn’t immediately clear whether the gunman took aim at him from an upper-level balcony or if he was hit by a stray bullet. Zulima Niebles said police told her that three of her family members were among the victims. She said her sister Merly Sophia Niebles, her sister’s husband, and her sister’s daughter Priscila Perez, 16, were all shot and killed. Ariel Castro Pleads Guilty to Rape, Kidnapping, Murder; Sentenced to 1,000 Years

Ariel Castro agreed to a plea deal in an Ohio courtroom Friday that will save him from the death penalty, but never again will he see the light of day. He was sentenced to life, plus 1,000 years in prison. Ariel Castro Pleads Guilty The deal, reached with prosecutors, would let him avoid the possibility of a death sentence and spare his victims from having to testify at a trial. The plea deal entails that the Cleveland kidnapping perpetrator be sentenced to life in prison without parole – he will never even get a parole hearing. It would also mean that a trial Castro was facing on August 5 would not happen and he would not face the possibility of being sentenced to death. Judge Michael J. Russo went over the deal with Castro, and told him that he would be labeled as a sexual predator. Castro replied that he understood. Russo went through charges Ariel Castro faces relating to the allegations he held three women captive for a decade and asked how he pleaded. Over and over and over again, he replied: “Guilty.” An attorney for three kidnapping victims told CNN that they were hoping for a plea deal because they did not want to take the stand at Castro’s trial. One can certainly sympathize with that. A law firm representing Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry and Georgina “Gina” DeJesus, issued a statement after Ariel Castro agreed to a plea. “Amanda, Gina, and Michelle are relieved by today’s plea,” according to Jones Day. “They are satisfied by this resolution to the case, and are looking forward to having these legal proceedings draw to a final close in the near future.” The women want to remain private and don’t want to speak to media or others, the statement said, but they’re grateful for the support they’ve received.

People Aint Isht: DJ Popped By One-Time For Having Forced Sex With Unconscious Women And Filming It

This is taking creepy to a whole new level. DJ Filmed Forced Sex With Women According to Mail Online A Virginia DJ has been arrested after videos showing him having forced sex with unconscious women were found at his apartment. Police say Joseph M. Rivera sexually assaulted scores of women without their knowledge over a number of years. The 34-year-old was taken into custody in Las Vegas this week and has been charged with forced sex, aggravated sexual battery and animate sexual object penetration as well as two counts of unlawful filming. One of the victim’s families reported their loved one had been assaulted in May, sparking a joint investigation by Fairfax County and Alexandria police. ‘All the victims appeared unconscious and to this day are unaware of the videos and photographs,’ Detective Brian J. Byerson wrote in a search warrant filed in Fairfax County Circuit Court on May 13. Some of the incriminating videos were filmed in a home Rivera lived in on Station House Court in Lorton, The Washington Post reported. They were stored on a range of electronic devices, according to the search warrant. Those who police have interviewed said they were unaware of the assault and never gave permission to engage in sexual acts with Rivera. Rivera worked as a party disc jockey – a job that saw him come into contact with numerous women. He also hosted bar-tending competitions. It’s unclear how the women became unconscious though the possibility that they were drugged is being investigated. Police believe Rivera acted alone in the filming and assaults. He is being held in Las Vegas pending extradition to Fairfax County. We can only imagine the amount of therapy those women will need. Luckily, where ol’ boy is going there will be plenty of forced sex with him. Shutterstock

Bruce Springsteen performed a concert in Ireland yesterday, but the singer’s thoughts were clearly on a major story taking place in America: The George Zimmerman verdict that acquitted this Florida resident in the wake of his shooting of Trayvon Martin. Rolling Stone Cover Controversy: Magazine Issues Statement, Defends "Thoughtful" Coverage

With controversy swirling over the latest Rolling Stone cover – it features Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and teases how he “became a monster” – the magazine has come out with an online statement. As an editor’s note to the Web version of the story, Rolling Stone writes: “Our hearts go out to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing, and our thoughts are always with them and their families. The cover story we are publishing this week falls within the traditions of journalism and Rolling Stone’s long-standing commitment to serious and thoughtful coverage of the most important political and cultural issues of our day. ” It continues: “The fact that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is young, and in the same age group as many of our readers, makes it all the more important for us to examine the complexities of this issue and gain a more complete understanding of how a tragedy like this happens.” Along with stinging criticism from those who feel the cover story is inappropriate, CVS has announced a boycott of the issue. The chain says it will not sell the August edition of Rolling Stone “out of respect for the victims of the attack and their loved ones.” Where do you stand? What do you think of the magazine putting Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on its cover?   Why not? He’s topical and interesting … What a disgrace. View Poll »
