Since the baller injured his groin on Christmas day, the star has been making the absolute most of his time off after it was revealed that he would miss the next few games. He’s been using this time to tweet about his most anticipated movies, he won an award, and he even recruited some potential future teammates. But none of those actions showed just how much LeBron was enjoying his time off until last night, when King James decided to waltz into the Staples Center for the Lakers game while enjoying a nice glass of red wine. As it turns out, we may have had our eye on the wrong set of eyes this past Christmas morning. During the Walk Watched and Analyzed Around the World early Tuesday, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton strolled side by side into a church in Sandringham. It was the first time the public saw the dueling Duchesses out and about together since rumors of their rivalry started to run rampant around the Internet. Did they talk trash to one another? Did they air all their grievances? Did they laugh about all this silly and false chatter? We don’t know, we don’t know and we don’t know. We’re Totally Best Friends! But now we’ve learned that Kate may have been perfectly cordial to Markle as they strolled toward their destination on Christmas. Her husband, however? Well… At one point, according to an Instagram user who filmed an interaction between William and Meghan, the latter attempted to talk to her brother-in-law. But William was having no part of it. He “seemingly ignored her [and] tried to fix his scarf,” writes OK! Weekly, which adds that “Meghan turned away with a hurt look on her face and she took the hand of her husband, Prince Harry” in response to the diss. Ouch . Fans took note of this tension-filled non-exchange and commented on the video mentioned above. “William does not want to talk with Meghan. He looked at her so strangely (contemptuously). I even felt sorry for Megan,” remarked one individual. Added another: “It is just sad to see division between them. They have always had each other’s back.” Truth be told, this is not the first time we heard of a rift between William and Meghan . According to a Daily Mail report in early December, Prince Charles arranged for a gathering at his home about a year ago, during which time William voiced his concerns about his brother marrying Markle. This allegedly led to a “ghastly row” between the famous quartet of Willam, Harry, Kate and Meghan. Elsewhere, there’s also been talk that Harry and William are at odds because William has never fulled embraced Harry’s wife. And he’s never been shy about this disdain, either. “Other members of the royal family also expressed their unease about their relationship,” said an Entertainment Tonight source a few weeks ago, adding: “But Harry was steadfast and absolutely besotted with Meghan.” That’s good at least. We’re glad Harry is standing up for his better half. The question now is whether the forthcoming Royal Baby will make things better… or worse? Will it bring everyone togther and make them realize they’ve been acting petty? Or will a new life simply stir up more tension and hard feelings between all involved? According to Gallup’s annual poll of the most admired people in America, Michelle topped Hillary Clinton as the country’s most admired woman, the first time in 17 years the former presidential candidate and secretary of state did not top the list. 15 percent of Americans surveyed selected Obama as their most admired woman. Oprah finished second with five percent where Clinton and current First Lady Melania Trump received four percent of the vote. Former President Obama took 19 percent of the vote on the men’s side with 13 percent shockingly picking Donald Trump . We imagine the Eason family is looking forward to the end of 2018 and towards a new beginning in the new year. Well, we’d imagine they’d be thinking that way if they had even the tiniest little bit of sense. But we’re talking about Jenelle Evans and David Eason here. Sense is not really something they have in their heads. Yep, it’s pretty much just all ignorance and delusions and weed in there. See, things have just been going really, really badly for Jenelle and David this year. He was fired from Teen Mom 2 in February after going on a homophobic rant on Twitter, and that kicked off the huge downward spiral. After that, Jenelle refused to film for a while, and after she finally wrapped up filming that season, it took her several weeks to sign a new contract . Because she’s so codependent that she couldn’t imagine doing her job without her husband directly by her side. Let’s see, after that, Jenelle nearly got herself killed when she followed a stranger back to his house and pulled a gun on him in a fit of road rage . She then nearly lost custody of Kaiser when she and David were suspected of abusing him . Who could forget about that time that she called 911 and sobbed hysterically about how her husband had assaulted her ? More recently, David has been under investigation by the Secret Service for tagging the president in a video in which he shot an assault rifle. And now, on top of everything else, Jenelle could be facing several thousands of dollars in fines for burning the hair care products Kailyn Lowry sent her as a peace offering. Jenelle Evans to Kailyn Lowry: Your Hair Products SUCK! It’s just one great big mess. Their lives, we mean. But since Christmas was just a couple of days ago, Jenelle thought it was the perfect time to start getting the kids in on all the fun. She got Jace a woodburning kit as a gift, because burn everything, right? We don’t know if he specifically asked for this or if Jenelle and/or David just thought it would be neat, but the timing of all this sure is fun. They’re also getting a fair bit of criticism for thinking this gift was a good idea. She disabled the comments when she shared the photo, which is a shame, and she also didn’t link the post to her Twitter like she usually does. It seems like she was aware people would have things to say about this gift, and they did. “The presents Jace has are what David thinks is what he should have,” one person tweeted. “I can’t imagine for a second that Jace asked for them for Christmas, I can’t imagine a kid asking for a wood burning kit.” Another person wrote “But OF COURSE Jenelle and David would buy him a ‘wood burning kit.’ Poor kid is doomed.” There have been a lot of connections made between the gift and Jenelle’s dumb fire tantrum, but as much as we love trashing Jenelle, it’s just not warranted here. Woodburning doesn’t involving setting anything on fire, although it seems that’s what some people think, There’s no actual fire involved at all. With the kit that Jace got, you just take a woodburning pen, let it heat up, then burn designs in wood. There is an issue with this whole thing, of course. The kit is recommended for kids ages 14 and up because the pen gets super, super hot and a kid as young as Jace shouldn’t use it unless he’s under direct supervision. Unfortunately, that’s not really something kids seem to get much of down on the swamp. Just … be safe, Jace, OK? And Kaiser and Ensley and Maryssa, and whatever pets they have at the moment. It was only a month ago that Jenni “JWoww” Farley revealed her son's autism diagnosis . He has a major speech delay. If you watch JWoww's video, which we have included, you'll see that he has made some astounding personal progress in a very short time. Take a look and see little Greyson's powerful journey. Jenni “JWoww” Harley shared some news with her fans in November. Greyson Valor, she revealed, was “non-verbal.” He is autistic, and not all autistic people speak. He has since made great strides, for which she is immensely thankful. In a tribute video that she posted, she shows her son's progress. The dramatic results show how quickly a young child can change in a very short time, especially with speech therapist. What once had JWoww fearing that Greyson would never speak is now a speech delay. The vast majority of two-year-old children are happily speaking and living their best lives. Greyson took until he was a little older than two to show that he recognized his own name. JWoww's video begins with Greyson responding very little or not at all to auditory input. His mother calls his name, and he does not seem aware of it. (Audio processing is complicated, and sometimes works very differently for children and adults on the autistic spectrum) In another scene, he asks for food from his mother, but is unable to verbalize his request. Greyson hit some developmental milestones a little later than Jwoww had hoped. It's not that children on the autistic spectrum are necessarily less intelligent than neurotypical children in their age group. Instead, it's because autism — which is very complicated and comes in many forms — means that his mind processes things differently. The best analogy that comes to mind is traffic. If 90% of people take one route, someone who takes a very different route will arrive at a different time. Speech is complicated, and at times he might be too overwhelmed by other experiences to process what he's hearing, let alone what he is saying. But while some autistic folks remain nonverbal for life, that is not the case with Greyson. As the video reveals, Greyson has made great strides this year in terms of verbal communication. With a little prompting from his mother, Greyson blows a kiss with a very loud verbal “mwah!” In the same clip, in which he is seated in his car seat, he says “hi!” Then, we see Greyson chattering on his own. Many (very loving, very devoted) parents know how exhausting it can be to hear little children who speak nonstop. But to a parent who had feared just months earlier that their child would never speak at all, hearing him jabber feels like a miracle. Of course, rambling without being very intelligible is a far cry from actually speaking. But as we already knew, Greyson has been developing his vocabulary. JWoww's videos include the one that we shared in early December. Greyson, dressed as Dash from The Incredibles , repeats the names of colors on command. Some parents might not be blown away by a video of a child old enough to walk who is parroting their parents' words. But for Greyson, it shows that he doesn't just understand the words — he can also repeat them verbally and intelligibly. This is huge for him and very encouraging to those who love him. Greyson is autistic, and that is part of who he is. There is no “cure” for autism, only therapies to help them thrive in a neurotypical society. As an adult, he may never fully understand when it is and is not his turn to speak. Or, he may be uncomfortable making eye contact with people, especially while talking to them. But he may also be fine with both of those things. Some autistic folks go their entire lives without being diagnosed, and were just seen as “quirky” or “slow” or “awkward” as children. Everybody's a little different, and it's inspiring to see that JWoww has hope for her son's future.
