The Associated Press reports that around 300 guests — including Spike Lee, Kim Kardashian and fellow baller LeBron James — watched the couple swap vows at Manhattan’s Cipriani restaurant. The duo’s 3-year-old son, Kiyan, escorted them down the aisle. According to People magazine, the bride wore a Vera Wang gown, and the wedding was officiated by Georgetown professor Dr. Michael Eric Dyson. DJ Clue spun at the wedding, which was filmed as part of an upcoming VH1 reality show, according to UsMagazine.com . Vasquez and Anthony got engaged in 2004. Vasquez and her pals also tweeted about the wedding festivities over the weekend. On Saturday, Ciara sent out a twit pic of the star with the bride, Kim Kardashian, Trina and Angie Martinez lounging on a boat. After the ceremony, Miami MC Trina tweeted, “Best night of my life @LalaVazquez and Melo wedding!! :).” Vasquez apparently had a great time as well, as Clue tweeted to the newlywed, “u’re the 1st person I ever seen trying to jump off the stage into the crowd in a wedding dress! Welcome2 #TeamWasted.” The next day, Vasquez shouted out Clue for keeping the energy up: “I love @THEREALDJCLUE he had it ROCKIN last night! UNBELIEVABLE.” The new bride also took a second to thank everyone for helping her celebrate the big event. “Best night of my entire life,” Vasquez tweeted. “Thank u to all my family and friends who shared tonight with me. I love u. I’m on cloud 9 right now.” Share your well-wishes for Carmelo and LaLa in the comments below.

Photo via TinyTall After Pete Geyer and Andrea Parrish became engaged, they decided to say “I can” before saying “I do,” and in more ways than one. NYT’s Herbert: Obama and Democrats Wasted Once In a Lifetime Opportunity

Add New York Times columnist Bob Herbert to the growing list of liberal media members realizing that Barack Obama’s campaign slogan “Hope and Change” was nothing but a great sales pitch. “Mr. Obama and the Democrats have wasted the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity handed to them in the 2008 election,” wrote Herbert Tuesday. “They did not focus on jobs, jobs, jobs as their primary mission.”  No, they sure didn’t. Instead, they worked on a stimulus package that has done nothing but add to the debt, a healthcare bill that WILL do nothing but add to the debt, and a cap and trade bill that if ever passed will cost jobs in virtually every industry. As Herbert continued, he surprisingly noted how disappointed Americans are in the failure of this administration to do what the country needed most: Mr. Obama had campaigned on the mantra of change, and that would have been the kind of change that working people could have gotten behind. But it never happened. Job creation was the trump card in the hand held by Mr. Obama and the Democrats, but they never played it. And now we’re paying a fearful price. The Obama administration feels it should get a great deal of credit for its economic stimulus efforts, its health care initiative, its financial reform legislation, its vastly increased aid to education and so forth. And maybe if we were grading papers, there would be a fair number of decent marks to be handed out. By nearly 2 to 1, respondents to the most recent New York Times/CBS News poll believed the United States is on the wrong track…Fifty-four percent of respondents believed he does not have a clear plan for creating jobs. Only 45 percent approved of his overall handling of the economy, compared with 48 percent who disapproved.  It’s not too late for the president to turn things around, but there is no indication that he has any plan or strategy for doing it. Truth be told, he never did. “Hope and Change” wasn’t a plan for anything. It was a dream spun by a very well-spoken, charismatic man that liberal media members like Herbert fell in love with and married on Election Day 2008. Conservatives across the fruited plain tried to convince folks before the wedding that they were being sold a magic elixir by an astonishingly unqualified person that had never created a job for another human being in his entire life and didn’t have the slightest idea how. But love is blind, so much so that Herbert and his ilk assisted this man in selling the dream to others. Now that the fantasy has turned into a nightmare, we can only hope that folks like Herbert who are beginning to realize they were taken will be more concerned for their nation and their fellow citizens than the Party they support. After all, the Democrats have controlled Congress for three and half years, and the White House for seventeen months. Is the country better off today than it was in January 2007? Or January 2009? Are we any closer to a path that leads us to both answers being “Yes?” If not, and folks like Herbert are starting to realize it albeit it kicking and screaming, then maybe they should consider a divorce. This shouldn’t be tough for liberals – they do it all the time.

Megan Fox And Brian Austin Green’s Romance: A Look Back

The actors were married in a secret wedding last week in Hawaii. By Jocelyn Vena Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox Photo: Steve Granitz/ Getty Images Back in 2004, a little-known actress named Megan Fox met former teen heartthrob Brian Austin Green on the set of the sitcom “Hope & Faith,” where they were both guest-starring. It was the start of a love affair that resulted in a secret wedding last Thursday in Hawaii. After dating for two years, despite a 12-year age difference, the pair got engaged in November 2006 . They lived together, along with a potbellied pig, dogs, two cats, two birds and a squirrel. In 2008, Green told TV Guide that they had to make room in their busy work schedules to focus on their relationship. At the time, Fox was an up-and-coming sex symbol and the female lead in “Transformers,” while Green was busy working on the TV series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” “We’ve lived together for three years. We have tattoos of each other’s names,” he said in an interview, adding that he also wouldn’t mind having children with his lady. “I would love more kids. Right now, our biggest problem is rescuing pets from pet stores.” Despite a brief breakup in early 2009, the pair got back together and rekindled their flame later that year. Fox would continue to be busy with her career, working on flicks like “Jonah Hex” and “Jennifer’s Body” and continuing to say outlandish things in interviews. She also made sure to talk about her preference for older men like Green. She once noted that she loves Green because “he’s a man. He has an ego.” Shortly after Fox left the “Transformers” franchise and just before the release of “Jonah Hex,” she and Green announced that they had gotten engaged again on June 1 in Hawaii. And while Fox would insist that it was “really not a re-engagement” because their 2006 commitment still held, she did throw off the press by noting hat it would be “years” before she walked down the aisle with Green. “I’m going to be 44 when I get married!” Apparently in Fox’s world, “years” is really only a matter of weeks, and “44” means 24. While we don’t know much about the wedding other than it took place at the Four Seasons Resort on Hawaii’s Big Island and only about half a dozen people were in attendance. It is the first marriage for both. Green has an 8-year-old son, Kassius, from a previous relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil. Kassius gave away his dad at the wedding. If you were as famous as Megan and Brian, would you have a secret wedding or a huge, publicized bash? Talk about it in the comments. Related Photos Love Birds: Megan Fox And Brian Austin Green

Pamela Anderson’s Haggard Old Hotness

I wanted to write about how disgusting Pamela Anderson is getting in her old age, that she’s trash and should be retired to greener pastures and that I would never ever have sex with her in a million years…. I don’t think I can say that. Sure she’s getting up there in years, she’s in the autumn of her sexiness, but um…. I’d still hit it. I know that sounds terrible, but I’m sure I’m not the only one. What can I say? I’d do it, one hundred percent. Even if it’s just for a story to tell at my wedding. more pictures of Pamela Anderson here
