Poor Bobbi Kris … According to TMZ reports : Whitney Houston’s family wants Bobbi Kristina to enter a live-in rehab facility ASAP — but sources tell TMZ, they’re holding off on telling her until after Whitney’s funeral today. According to sources connected with the family, Bobbi has struggled with substance abuse issues for the last three or four years — and the family wants her to seek out professional help at a 60-day live-in treatment facility before her problems get worse. We’re told the family is aware Whitney fell off the wagon in the weeks leading to her death — and they don’t want the same fate to befall her daughter. But they’re not putting pressure on her to enter rehab right away — they want to give her time to grieve during and immediately after her mother’s funeral today. Attempts to reach Bobbi directly were unsuccessful. So far, it’s unclear if Bobbi plans to heed her family’s advice. We hope that Bobbi Kristina is okay and accepts the help if she needs it. We all make mistakes. Especially at 2:30 a.m. But ESPN made a doozy early this morning. Following the New York Knicks’ first loss with phenom Jeremy Lin starting at point guard – at home, to the woeful New Orleans Hornets, with Lin turning the ball over nine times – the self-proclaimed World Wide Leader in Sports plastered its mobile homepage with the following headline: The Asian epithet – which is meant differently in the context of that phrase, of course – was removed after about a half hour and the network then released this statement: Last night, ESPN.com’s mobile web site posted an offensive headline referencing Jeremy Lin at 2:30 am ET. The headline was removed at 3:05 am ET. We are conducting a complete review of our cross-platform editorial procedures and are determining appropriate disciplinary action to ensure this does not happen again. We regret and apologize for this mistake. The Knicks had won seven straight games heading into last night’s contest, with Lin’s record-breaking play earning praise around the country. Sarah Palin even talked about the Harvard graduate … for some reason.

Bobbi Kristina Brown will attend her mother’s funeral today in Newark, New Jersey. But sources say her future beyond this memorial is unclear. Insiders tell TMZ that many members of Whitney Houston’s family are pushing for the 18-year old – who was hospitalized twice in the hours following the artist’s passing last weekend – to enter a rehab program… but are waiting until after the funeral to express this hope to Bobbi. The family wants to learn from the tragedy of her mother, allegedly, and convince the teenager to seek help before it’s too late. But they also want her to properly mourn the parent to whom she was so close first. It’s a complicated situation and we can all just hope Bobbi Kristina comes out of it okay.

All may not be completely well between Bobby Brown and the family of Whitney Houston, but a temporary accord has at least been reached. Following questions over whether or not Brown would be welcome at his ex-wife’s funeral – many of his former in-laws believe Bobby has been a terrible influence on both Whitney and daughter Bobbi Kristina – a source tells TMZ: “At the last minute, the family felt that it would keep the peace at the funeral [to have Bobby there] … even though some family members were against it.” Bobby, Bobbi and Whitney during happier family times. The funeral will begin at noon on Saturday; take place in Newark, New Jersey; flags will ( controversially ) be flown at half-staff on the grounds of all government buildings; and the event will be streamed online. Brown will reportedly take a private place after the ceremony is over in order to perform with New Edition in Connecticut.
