90 Day Fiance Sneak Peek: Chantel Makes Pedro Feel Like Effing Dirt

Earlier this month, we reported that Chantel and Pedro are getting their very own spinoff , called The Family Chantel . But they're also appearing in the new season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? (which premieres Sunday, April 28). In a new sneak peek, this couple is struggling to trust each other after the drama of Pedro's fight with Chantel's family. It's no secret that Chantel's family has major issues with Pedro. Viewers are still not over the incident in which Pedro stormed around the table to physically confront Chantel's brother. What followed was a full-on brawl. Producers leapt out from behind the cameras to break up the fight. Yes, there is such a thing as too much drama. Even after things appeared to have wound down, Pedro lashed out, kicking dishes on Chantel's mother's table. (Chantel's mom has since bought a taser in case anything like that happens again) In this new 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? sneak peek, we see that Chantel and Pedro are still dealing with the aftermath of that fight. And tensions are running high. “After the fight with Chantel's family,” Pedro confesses. “I no feel like emotional support [from] her for me.” “When your wife is not at your side,” he continues. “When your wife thinking all the problem is you,” Pedro adds. He expresses: “that make me feel like I am nothing at all.” “I'm like f–king s–t,” he characterizes. Pedro brings up that Chantel has blamed him. Real talk: it sounds like this is the emotional fallout from an angry outburst of Chantel's. If you tell your husband that he's the troublemaker right now, he's going to take that to heart. He feels betrayed and unloved that Chantel doesn't want to have a child right now. But Chantel says that Pedro misunderstands. “I don't feel like Pedro understands where I'm coming from,” Chantel expresses while speaking to the camera. She says that this confusion comes into play “when I say that I don't want to have children in a chaotic family.” Right now, her family is a huge mess — and she wouldn't want to force that situation upon a child. “I just don't want to have a child right now,” Chantel explains. She continues: “and have that child torn between my family and Pedro like I am.” That makes a tremendous amount of sense. After viewers saw her break down crying last year after Pedro attacked her family (and their table settings), everyone wondered: Is Chantel going to have to pick a side eventually? An alternative, of course, would be for her to just not mention disagreements with Pedro (or rather, Pedro's sister, Nicole). But that doesn't sound super emotionally healthy … or like a recipe for great reality television. Tragically, the only people in this sneak peek are Chantel and Pedro. Nobody — nobody — loves being on television as much as Chantel's mother. Her entire family is very entertaining. Which is, of course, why they've landed a spinoff series: The Family Chantel . The title itself comes from a phrase that Pedro used in the very episode in which the alarming fight broke out.

Why We Can’t Get Enough Of Lauren London’s Character On ‘Games People Play’

Read more here:

Source: Michael Tullberg / Getty Lauren London made her return to television in BET’s new juicy drama, Games People Play Tuesday night, starring in the role of basketball wife Vanessa King. London’s performance was relatable as she unveiled the ugly truth of being married to a successful basketball player who struggles with an addiction and infidelity, all while flashing her mesmerizing smile. Source: BET / BET While the cast is made of black Hollywood all-stars (including a few celebrity guests), it’s Lauren London’s character that we can’t get enough of, as Vanessa effortlessly makes us empathize with the often-idolized lifestyle of a glamorous yet constantly cheated on basketball wife. It’s clear that London’s own experience as a doting mother of two comes through in her role of Vanessa King, as she prioritizes her family both on and off screen. “Being a mother has changed my outlook on life,” the 34-year old actress recently told The Grio, “and I think that naturally filters into my work.” In the series premiere, we’re introduced to Vanessa and Marques King (Sarunas J. Jackson), a good looking and successful couple who seemingly have it all but struggle to keep their marriage in tact due to Marques’ compulsive cheating. In spite of their struggles, we see that Vanessa clearly loves her husband, or “King” as she calls him, and even puts her dreams of becoming a high-powered attorney on hold to become the perfect wife and mother that’ll help take her husband’s professional basketball career to the next level. Like so many wives and mothers in real life, Mrs. King is devoted to keeping her family together, but her constant sacrifices can’t seem to stop her husband from messing around with known side-chicks and groupies behind his wife’s back. As an escape from Marques’ persistent unfaithfulness, Vanessa turns to her sorority sister and gossip blogger friend, Nia Bullock (Karen Obilom), for support and a sense of familiarity in her new Los Angeles home. But in the age of social media and click bait, there’s no escaping that reality as Marques’ extramarital affairs will soon be made public through an exclusive interview with his mistress done by Vanessa’s BFF, Nia. Now, Nia is conflicted on whether to remain loyal to her girl or impress her boss by running the exclusive story about Marques’ cheating. The pilot episode started off with a bang and we can only anticipate that more drama will unfold in the weeks to come. Catch “Games People Play” Tuesdays at 8pm (EST) on BET. David Eason Calls Leah Messer a Drug Addict, Is Still the Worst

David Eason … ugh. Is there anything else we really need to say? He's rude, aggressive, offensive, bigotted, allegedly abusive to both children and his significant others. Like, he's so awful the Secret Service felt the need to pay him a visit. It's bad. On top of everything else, he also has a little hobby of harassing his wife's co-workers — the cast and crew of Teen Mom 2. And this weekend, he went after Leah Messer … 1. The Worst David is … he’s really just a horrific person, guys, for so many reasons. 2. Poor Kaiser How many times have we heard from Nathan Griffith and his mother that Kaiser has told them that David hits him? 3. Yikes The alleged abuse extends further, too — his ex, the mother of his son, got a restraining order against him after claiming he was violent with her during her pregnancy. 4. There’s More And we all remember that harrowing 911 call in which Jenelle sobbed and told the operator that he’d knocked her to the ground and pinned her down after an argument. 5. Also the Secret Service In addition to all the (alleged!!!) domestic violence, David is also super, super into guns, like to the point where the Secret Service felt the need to investigate him because they thought he was threatening the president’s life. 6. So Weird He’s said many times that he won’t hesitate to shoot the second anyone trespasses onto his property, and like, you can tell he’s kind of hoping it happens. View Slideshow

Joe Giudice Deportation Appeal: Denied!

It is officially time to say ciao to Joe Giudice. The disgraced former Real Housewives of New Jersey star was informed this month that his deportation appeal was denied, paving the way for Giudice to be sent back to his native Italy. It has taken several days for the news to leak online, but this is what source close to the situation just told E! News: “The Board of Immigration Appeals ruled against Joe in an April 6 decision.” This same insider explains that Joe had to learn about the board’s decision by mail because the process is “done entirely by mail.” Giudice, of course, pleaded guilty to his role in a bankruptcy scheme back in 2016. He was then sentenced to serve 44 months in jail, but was able to postpone this stint under after his guilty wife completed her time behind bars. Then, last fall, a judge determined that Giudice would be deported because he broke federal law as a non-U.S. citizen. The father of four’s legal team filed an appeal, which is what a court just shot down. However, on Wednesday, this same legal team filed a petition for the federal court to review of the appeals decisions. This really is the final chance for Joe to avoid deportation — and it appears to be a long shot. “We are extremely disappointed that the Board of Immigration Appeals has denied Mr. Giudice’s appeal,” the family’s attorney James J. Leonard Jr. says. “We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters.” It’s true that Joe has four daughters and we legitimately feel terrible for them that their dad is about to be forced out of the country. On the other hand, perhaps they will be better off with just one criminal raising them at home, as opposed to two. As for Teresa? She will follow her dear husband wherever she goes and is committed to the man she loves and the life they have built together. Just kidding. She’s already said the marriage is over once Joe is outta here. Appearing opposite Andy Cohen last month when the topic was broached, Teresa sounded very casual and cool with the impending divorce, “It’s like starting a whole new life,” she said of moving to Italy with Joe, adding: “And [her daughters have] been through so much already. So, I mean, I’m not doing a long-distance relationship. I’m just not doing it. I want somebody with me every day. “I know exactly what happens, I’m sure he’ll be with other women. It happens. We do the long-distance thing? It’s not going to work. I’ll be like, ‘bye bye.'” View Slideshow: Teresa Giudice: The Wedding Ring is Off! Heck, there’s been chatter that Teresa is already dating someone new and planning her very own Bravo spinoff. Shocking, right? By which we mean… not shocking at all.

Worse Than Jail: Derailed Hoop Star Sebastian Telfair’s Wife AND Mistress Testified At His Gun Trial & It Was MESSY AF

Source: Alex Goodlett / Getty Sebastian Telfair’s Wife Reveals He Stole Her Cars, Clothes, Jewelry To Give To Mistress In Gun Trial Testimony The gun possession trial involving ex-NBA star Sebastian Telfair has finally started and it’s playing out like a novella. The ex-Portland Trailblazer’s estranged wife AND his mistress both took the stand against him — as his girlfriend in the gallery interrupted the proceedings Monday according to a New York Post report. BA A post shared by Sebastian Telfair (@picofmerolling) on Jun 8, 2018 at 10:48am PDT First his wife, Samantha Loida-Telfair testified that before her husband was busted for allegedly having a truck filled with guns and ammo he stole her clothing, three cars and about $250,000 in jewelry — and gave them to his mistress. Samantha alleges that a few months before his 2017 arrest, she went home to find her bedroom closet cleaned out. The couple stayed in their house in Orlando while leading separate lives according to Samantha so she was shocked. Along with all of her clothes, cars, and jewelry, Loida-Telfair testified that her husband’s collection of guns, a bulletproof vest, and an extended clip had also gone missing. After realizing all of her things had gone missing, Loida-Telfair testified that she went to a storage facility where she and Telfair had a shared unit and found he had separate units under his name and that of Caterina Scotto. She had never heard or seen this woman’s name prior to that day according to testimony. “Sebastian gave Caterina all my clothes and all my belongings,” she said. Loida- Telfair testified that she lied to the storage unit employee to get access to her husbands and Caterina Scotto’s information, finding the woman’s address and she popped up at her house. There is where she found the three missing cars, and she used her key to drive away with her Range Rover. YIkes!! The trial got even messier when Caterina, the mistress, took the stand and Telfair’s CURRENT girlfriend heckled her. Hit the flip to read the report.

Gabrielle Union Explains Why Her ‘Entire Household’ Went To Pride Parade To Support Zion Wade

Source: Leon Bennett / Getty A week after she made headlines for supporting her 11-year-old stepson at the Miami Pride Parade, Gabrielle Union has spoken out about why she and her family showed Zion all that love. “It feels normal,” the Being Mary Jane actress told Us Weekly at the Black Design Collective Honors Costume Designer Ruth E. Carter event on Saturday. “My mom took me to my first pride at eight years old. We moved to San Francisco, and it’s kind of part of being a global citizen.” The 46-year-old added, “People talk a lot about diversity and inclusion, but they don’t actually mean it. In our household, we mean that, and that’s why the entire household went to pride.” As we previously reported , Zion and his stepmom were on a float during the April 7 LGBTQ pride festival. They were also joined by other family members such as his 17-year-old big brother, Zaire and baby sister Kaavia . Zaire Wade  shared his public support on Instagram for his younger brother, writing: “Love you lil bro no matter what.” View this post on Instagram #ZionWade had the support of his family, including his step-mom #GabrielleUnion and his older brother #ZaireWade, at the #MiamiBeachPride celebration on Sunday. _______ Though #DwyaneWade could not be at the parade to cheer on his son, the #NBA star supported his 11-year-old boy by posting photos from the event. We stan! @DwyaneWade @itsgabrielleu pic.twitter.com/fMUON5c2k7 — Growin’ Up Gay (@growinupgay_) April 7, 2019 While some may question the couple’s support for Zion’s sexual orientation, others celebrated them for showing up and loving their son for who he is, which is especially important for Black LGBTQ kids. See, a 2016 report released by the Center for American Progress found that Black LGBTQ folks experience higher rates of homelessness during youth than their peers;  have higher rates of unemployment or underemployment; and face overall lower rates of pay and higher rates of poverty. Another report conducted by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network found that nearly half of Black/African-American LGBTQ students felt unsafe due to their sexual orientation; over a third felt unsafe because of their gender expression and nearly 40 percent of Black/ African-American students were more likely to experience in-school discipline. So, it’s clear that if this is the disproportionate bias our children face in the outside world, they need to be loved and accepted as much as possible when they are home with us. Bravo to Gabrielle and Dwyane for leading the way! If only more Black parents could follow in their footsteps. RELATED NEWS: Proud Parents! Peggy Alford Becomes First Black Woman Nominated To Facebook’s Board Of Directors

View post:

A lthough tech companies have been stagnant with moving the needle on racial and gender diversity, there are many individuals who are rising up the ranks and breaking barriers in the industry. According to USA Today , Facebook has nominated PayPal executive Peggy Alford to its board of directors. Alford, a prominent technology executive, would be the first African-American woman and second African-American to join the board of the social media giant. https://t.co/YThlHAPraP — USA TODAY (@USATODAY) April 12, 2019 The nomination is historic as Alford will become the first Black woman and the second Black person to join the board. The tech industry veteran—who is a graduate of the University of Dayton—has served in leadership positions at eBay and Rent.com. She took on the role of Senior Vice President of Core Markets at PayPal this year. Prior to joining the PayPal team, she was the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative; an organization created by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan that is designed to use technology as a solution to better education and change the criminal justice system. Zuckerberg believes Alford’s presence on the board will help the company move in the right direction in regards to diversity. “Peggy is one of those rare people who’s an expert across many different areas — from business management to finance operations to product development,” he said in a statement, according to the news outlet. “I know she will have great ideas that will help us address both the opportunities and challenges facing our company.” Alford is beyond thrilled to join the board and says she admires the company’s “desire to face hard issues head-on.” Last year American Express CEO Kenneth Chenault became the first African-American person to be appointed to Facebook’s board of directors. There is a need for more diversity on corporate boards—especially in regards to gender. According to Bloomberg , 21,424 U.S. board seats are held by men while only 5,088 are held by women.
