Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa Bryant are officially back together, happy, reconciled and dismissing their divorce papers. They confirmed the un-split on Instagram! Friday, Vanessa’s page read: “We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled. Our divorce action will be dismissed. We are looking forward to our future.” Kobe Bryant posted a message on Facebook: “When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers.” “I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family.” Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce in December 2011, citing irreconcilable differences, nearly 10 years after she stuck by him during his Colorado rape trial. Kobe was acquitted of all charges, but admitted straying from Vanessa with the desk clerk at a Vail-area resort hotel in a memorable public apology. Vanessa filing to leave Kobe was rumored to be a product of his cheating, as well. This was never confirmed, but he definitely did not want to get divorced. The future NBA Hall of Fame member spent pretty much all of 2012 trying to win his wife back , privately and publicly, and it appears it finally worked. The couple has two daughters. Garnett’s slight came off as offensive and tasteless to Melo, who is having marital problems, a source told the Daily News. Garnett and Anthony had to be separated on court and both were hit with technical fouls. But the insult left Anthony so upset he sought out Garnett after the 102-96 Knicks loss, apparently to settle the score. An infuriated Anthony yelled at Garnett outside the Celtics’ locker room immediately after the game. He then tried to confront Garnett later as the Celtics were boarding their team bus to leave the Garden. A would-be burglar was looking to cash in, but instead found himself in a world of pain when a Georgia mother who refused to be victimized shot him multiple times in the face and neck. The Loganville woman, who was not identified, was in the home with her 9-year-old twins on Friday afternoon when someone began ringing the doorbell. Thinking it was just a door-to-door salesperson, she didn’t answer. But after the ringing persisted, the person began prying the door open with a crowbar. She quickly retreated to an attic crawlspace with the children, but not before she also picked up her handgun. The burglar, whom police identified as Paul Ali Slater, did a room-by-room search of the home, and when he reached the attic, she was ready. Walton County Sheriff Joe Chapman told WSBTV: ‘The perpetrator opens that door. Of course, at that time he’s staring at her, her two children and a .38 revolver.’ She reportedly fired all six rounds, missing only once. The other shots hit Slater about the face and neck. Sheriff Chapman told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution: ‘The guy’s face down, crying. The woman told him to stay down or she’d shoot again.’ Slater did eventually get up and managed to return to his vehicle that was parked outside the home, but his injuries left him unable to drive, and it wasn’t long before he crashed into a wooded area. He was found by sheriff’s deputies, bleeding heavily in a driveway on the block. Sheriff Chapman told the paper that he was pleading with his deputies, saying: ‘I’m dying. Help me.’ He was carted off to Gwinnet Medical Center for treatment of the gunshot wounds, and he is expected to survive. WSBTV reported that Slater has a long criminal history and was released from prison in August. The woman’s husband, Donnie Herman, is just glad his wife and kids are safe. Mr Herman told WSBTV: ‘My wife is a hero. She protected her kids. She did what she was supposed to do as a responsible, prepared gun owner.’ The NRA is going to have a field day with this one! The split with Jason Hoppy comes after months of rumors that the pair, who wed in 2010 and are parents to daughter Bryn, 2 1/2, were on the rocks. It’s unclear what specifically drove them to this sad point. “It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating,” Frankel, 42, said in a statement on December 23. “This was an extremely difficult decision.” “As a woman and a mother, I have to accept it as the best choice for our family.”
