It’s Official! Martin Lawrence And Will Smith Confirm That Bad Boys III Is On The Way [Video]

Bad Boys for life! After years of chatter and teasing a long-awaited second sequel to the 1995 film, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have come together to officially confirm that Bad Boys 3 (or Bad Boys For Life , as it is tentatively titled) is on the way! It’s not clear how far along the film team is into production, however, seeing these two together for a formal announcement probably means that principal photography is starting soon, if it isn’t already underway. Of course, that’s just a speculation. How excited are you for another installment in the Bad Boys series? Todd Williamson/Getty Images/Instagram

Vampire Diaries’s Nina Dobrev Joins Perks of Being a Wallflower

In other pseudo-Kevin Williamson news, Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev landed the role of Candace in the upcoming adaptation of Stephen Chbosky’s bestseller The Perks of Being a Wallflower . If you went to high school at any time from 1999-2005, you saw the little lime-colored book everywhere. Good on Dobrev, who is great on the CW drama, and good on her Wallflower costar Emma Watson for turning 21. Happy birthday, little Granger! [ Deadline ]

Our Commenters of the Week Get to Cast 10 More People in Scream 4

Apparently the real horror of Scream 4 is all behind the camera — they’ve got abrupt cast departures, impetuous hires, Wes Craven’s lack of script control , Kevin Williamson’s eviction , among other snafus. Now, as one of Movieline’s anointed commenters, you get a chance to add 10 more familiar names to the cast and make it the celebrity cavalcade it deserves to be. And so you know, I’ve already taken Jennifer Love Hewitt/Alfre Woodard/Kieran Culkin/Cicely Tyson/Justin Bieber/Gloria Stuart/Cole and Dylan Sprouse/Luise Rainer/Alfred Hitchcock. So choose something else.

Checking In with Jeff Fahey: Apologies, Ambassadorships, and a New Role

From time to time, Movieline likes to check in with actor Jeff Fahey. Wouldn’t you, if given the opportunity? Jeff Fahey is many things: an actor, a dancer trained at the Joffrey Ballet, a humanitarian, and (of course) the Lawnmower Man. You can add one more to that list: Jeff Fahey is a damn good liar! Last time we checked in with him , Fahey swore up and down that his Movieline-beloved character Frank Lapidus had been killed off Lost in an ambiguous submarine explosion, so you can imagine our surprise when he popped up in the series finale to fly most of the main cast off the island, once and for all. Fahey’s been out of the country since then, but now that he’s back, he called up Movieline to apologize for his ruse, discuss the finale, and exclusively announce two bits of good news: an ambassadorship and a part in a new Gary Oldman film.

What The Hell is Happening to Scream 4?

Because Fourth of July weekend wouldn’t be complete without some fireworks, here comes the implosion that is Scream 4 . Earlier today, Zap2it reported that Kevin Williamson had been taken off the horror sequel and replaced with Ehren Kruger, much to the consternation of the cast — and likely Williamson himself, since he wasn’t a big fan of Kruger’s Scream 3 script. And now, it looks like their source for this scoop has been unearthed: Could it be Kevin Williamson himself?
