Kim and Eric Williams Charged in Texas D.A. Murders

For weeks, fear enveloped Kaufman County, Texas as two county prosecutors and one of their wives had been killed, and no one having an idea why. An arrest now brings the case back to an elected official who’d been booted from office and allegedly held a grudge against those who helped convict him. Eric Williams, 46, the county’s disgraced former justice of the peace, was targeted by his wife, Kim, also 46, who confessed the couple’s role in the murders. “Law enforcement in the State of Texas takes this all very seriously,” Kirby Dendy, assistant director/chief in charge of the Texas Rangers, said Thursday. “The murder of a public official … is an assault against all citizens in this state.” She was charged Wednesday with capital murder for the shootings of Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse, who was killed January 31 as he walked to work at the courthouse District Attorney Mike McLelland His wife, Cynthia The latter two killings were discovered March 30. Eric Williams earlier was arrested for making a “terroristic threat,” reportedly by anonymous e-mail, after officers searched the couple’s home April 12. He was charged Thursday with the murders as well and was being held on $23 million bond. The arrest affidavit says: “Kim Williams described in detail her role along with that of her husband, Eric Williams, whom she reported to have shot to death Mark Hasse … and Mike and Cynthia McLelland.” During questioning, Kim Williams “gave details of both offenses which had not been made public.” Follow the link for more details on this surprising case .

Question Of The Day: Are Rowdy Black Women And Wild White Women Equally Depicted On Reality Television?

Does one group of wild banshee breezies look worse than the other? Does Reality TV Equally Depict All Women? The era of reality television has brought about many debates over whether or not the means (using real life as a form of entertainment) truly justify the end (“fame” and/or notoriety.) While the initial idea behind the concept of reality tv was to film the “real lives” of once-everyday people, the spectrum has now broadened to give viewing audiences an intimate look into the lives of everyone from teenage mothers and unknown rich kids to well-known athletes and superstar entertainers. Although reality television certainly isn’t a gender-biased genre, it’s no secret that the most widely popular reality shows often feature women. The reasoning behind the overwhelming female presence is debatable: Do viewers in general find women to be more visually stimulating, more entertaining, or simply more willing to have their lives filmed and broadcast to the world? Or is it a combination of all three? Whatever the case, women of all races, shapes, sizes and backgrounds grace our television screens daily , with a new reality show popping up seemingly every month. And what’s more, the forumla for a successful female-dominated reality series seems to be pretty much the same: a mixture of outspoken women, shameless women and the token level-headed woman, all desiring to take their career or lifestyle to the next level by any means necessary. However, many argue that this very formula is purposely contrived to portray minority women in a worse light than their white counter parts………but are they right? Do predominantly white reality shows like Mob Wives, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Jersey Shore not promote and glamorize the same reckless behavior as shows like Basketball Wives, Real Housewives of Atlanta and Love And Hip Hop? He ain’t bout this life! Looks like Ochostinko is going to pay for telling stories on Twitter about ex-wife Evelyn Lozada this week. Via TMZ reports : Evelyn Lozada fired off a cease and desist letter to ex-hubby Chad Johnson … warning him to stop harassing her online … OR ELSE. Sources close to the “Basketball Wives” star tell TMZ … Evelyn’s lawyer sent the letter Thursday after Chad BLASTED her on Twitter … making crude comments and accusing her of cheating. Sources close to Evelyn tell us … Chad’s Twitter allegations are 100% false — she NEVER cheated and if he doesn’t stop spreading lies STAT … she’ll get a restraining order. Not only that, we’re told the prosecutor’s office overseeing Chad’s criminal domestic violence case is aware of the situation and is concerned. We broke the story … Evelyn filed for divorce after Chad was arrested for allegedly headbutting her just weeks after they got hitched. Chad is due in court Monday for a hearing on terminating his probation early. The Tweets are not gonna help his case. SMH. Evelyn is done playin’. We’re actually surprised she didn’t just go ahead and file the restraining order already. The cease and desist is serious enough, but we’re pretty sure it’s only a matter of time before Chad gets slapped with the kind of gag order that kept Royce from talking about Dwight Howard on TV and Twitter. Reality TV: Congratulations Floyd, 50, Flex And Lamar… TLC Pulls The Plug On “Starter Wives Confidential”

And that’s a wrap! Already?!?! Apparently the women of “Starter Wives Confidential” weren’t able to out-clout all their various exes and enemies because TLC will no longer be airing the show on television. But fans of the program will be able to see it online. Funkmaster Flex’s soon to be ex-wife Monica Joseph-Taylor announced the news via MommysDirtyLittleSecrets.com If you want to watch the remainder of episodes of Starter Wives Confidential you will have to go online to TLC.com. Ask me why? ::Long pause:: Is it ratings? Is it a change in network direction…or all the outside drama?! It’s no secret Starter Wives Confidential was plagued by legal inquiries and possible lawsuits from the beginning. Starting with Shanequa Tompkins being missing from all the episodes, her ex 50 cent allegedly had an agreement or contract with her of some sort that either prevented or made it difficult for her to partake in the show. I know before taping even began I was questioned about my posts relating to anyone connected with Lamar Odom. Luckily TLC had no control over what I do or can post so it became a non-issue. I never did find out who was putting pressure on them. Cut to the Lil Kim situation, one which I’m still confused about and can’t even confirm if there is a law suit. Bringing a show with women of color to TLC we always knew was a challenge and I love that they believed in our stories and gave us a voice. A voice, honesty, love, a lot of drama, and a bit of ratchetness. (Usually required for any good reality show.) I can only imagine there were a lot of people who were afraid what would come out on Starter Wives Confidential and as you saw from the first few episodes, the ladies were NOT holding back! Trust me it gets better and much juicier. But I digress. (I always wanted to say that in a post.) I want to say that from the very bottom of my soul the support and love from viewers was more amazing then I imagined. Even the haters felt our show was genuine. I love that personally I got to not only bond with 5 amazing women but was allowed to show that not all celebrity wives sit home, model, or are simpletons. For the first time people got to know who I really am, if even just a little bit. So it SUCKS that you have to watch episodes online but it beeeez like that sometimes. To the surprise of many, the rowdy reality chick most regrets her actions during an argument with fellow BBW cast member Kenya Bel l last season. via Examiner “Do you have any regrets? If so what,” one follower asked Evelyn. Of course, many would speculate that her biggest regret would be not working out her issues with Jennifer Williams, given that they were such good friends. However, “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada’s biggest regret actually has to do with throwing the wine bottle at her co-star Kenya, who she didn’t really like. “Throwing that bottle at Kenya,” “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada revealed in a tweet. It sounds like she is realizing that her actions may not have been the best last year. After her marriage failed, it sounds like Evelyn took a few steps back to reflect on her own decisions and life. Although there were a few other things that she could have said , almost delivering a potentially fatal bottle-blow to the dome IS certainly something to regret.
