After Banks’ comments on The Breakfast Club about Cardi B being “illiterate” went viral, the “212” MC used her @cheapyxo Twitter account (Banks’ OG account was deactivated) to further clairify what she meant. This is an example of how some racially ambiguous Latina women TRULY view black women who call them out on their privilege. They act like they’re better than or above them. This is coming from a woman that bleached her skin, but want to be an advocate.” Saturday, Banks said Cardi’s response proved her original point: “I always speak with intuition. I went to school with a million carbi d’s. I sat in the chair at the Dominican Hair salon and learned a lot of Spanish from listening to the hair dressers make fun of me and my mother’s hair while they assumed I couldn’t understand what they said.” Banks continued: ”So because I point out that you get away with being the typical caricature of a black woman that society says is wrong … and you respond by calling me unattractive and bringing up skin bleaching to basically make fun of me for not being light skinned?” She added: “Carbi is really a bird brain. LOL… She really doesn’t have the vernacular to engage in any discussion about black womens culture, music or hiphop at all lol. She’s really a hood booger wow “ While Banks failed to acknowledge that English was not the first language in Cardi’s home growing up, she made valid points about how saying “I’m from the hood,” should never excuse ignorance. Banks wrote, “I ALSO come from the hood. So does nicki Minaj… Lol the hood is a beautiful place full of loads of creative , smart , and talented people… you’re illiterate because you are lazy, not because you are from the hood.” Azealia emphasized that Cardi is a stereotypical portrayal of Black women in America. “Especially when you are a full on stereotype. You’re illiterate, you’re baby mama 4/5 to man who has women crawling out of the woodworks with kids, videos of your nigga fucking other women… you’re a real life episode of Maury sis….” Banks even called Cardi a weapon against Black women. “And for as far as black womens culture and music has moved in the past two years… the fact that your overall statistic-ness is being merited as success is a clear indication that the suits backing you are using you as a weapon against black womens consciousness and culture.” She explained that Cardi was “ultimately promoting things that send Black Women to jail. Earlier, Cardi questioned how the Banks could advocate for dark skin women when the Harlem MC has admitted to bleaching her skin in the past. The two ladies have been exchanging words online since Banks called Cardi “illiterate” on the Breakfast Club last week. In response to Cardi’s comments about skin bleaching, Banks wrote a lengthy Instagram post stating, “For your information, I bleached my skin die to a severe breakout I had from a depo-provera shot.” Banks added that Cardi’s comments prove her original point. “Some dark skin women have problems with hyper-pigmentation and it can take years for our scars to fade.” ”The color of my skin has absolutely nothing to do with this greater discussion surrounding Black women’s culture and our representation in media.” ”From what I know, you have always identified as Latina. You’ve only recently began to identify as Black once you became a partner of Hip Hop and felt pressured to represent the women you so often called burnt, bald-headed roaches.” Azealia also went into detail about Cardi’s natural looks and hygiene in the IG post below. It’s been more than a month since Kendra Wilkinson’s last day of marriage to Hank Baskett . A split like this is difficult for anyone, but especially for parents. Along with a series of gorgeous selfies, Kendra is honest with her fans and followers: she feels demotivated and down in the dumps. She needs fun. She also says that she needs a swift kick in the pants. In the captions behind the series of photos of the newly brunette Kendra , “Just posting random selfies and saying hello to u all.” They’re good selfies, too! “Been trying to take care of myself lately.” Self-care is so, so important. And she spells out what parts of herself she needs to help. “My mental, emotional, and physical well being.” That’s … pretty thorough. Kendra clarifies that she does, of course, have the correct priorities as a parent. “Kids come first at all time.” Kendra loves her children and very correctly puts them first because that is her responsibility. But she knows that she’s no good to them, anyone, or herself if she does not take care of herself. “But mama needs some fun right now.” We’re guessing that she needs to do more than hit the slopes . “I need a little kick in the ass.” She finishes her caption by sending out a classic distress call. “SOS” In the comments, Kendra admitted that her hair “needs a touch up.” Speaking of her newly darkened hair, she wrote: “I’ll keep it for a little bit. Maybe even try darker. [I don’t know].” Hey, hair upkeep is important — and ties into all of that health stuff that Kendra was just talking about. Kendra’s fans flooded the comments with affirmations that yes, self-care matters. “If momma ain’t happy ain’t nobody happy.” That is succinct and true. Kendra needs to take care of herself if she wants to be able to be the best for her children. “You are so beautiful inside and out! I have loved keeping up with you through all of the years! You are such a great mom and a great person! … You got this girl!” That fan is basically cheerleading Kendra. That’s sweet. Kendra’s fans, a number of whom have a lot of wisdom to share, advise her to enjoy herself but to be careful with her impulses during this time of transition. “Girl you are beautiful! Go have you some fun! The simplest thing to remember … give yourself time. Don’t jump into anything too soon and don’t think something is wrong with YOU for what has transpired.” Kendra has a lot of fans who have known breakups and heartbreak. “Feelings change and so do people. You are a queen! Now straighten your crown and get back on your throne!” That’s a very nice analogy. “I don’t know you personally but what I do know is that you’ve got this! Just like I tell my gfs, you’re not alone. time heals all.” Kendra is also getting reassurance that going solo isn’t destroying her brand. “As much as I loved you and Hank together, I love the new you you’ve become. And y’all made some beautiful kids!” Kendra received even further assurances that self-care is a vital part of being a good parent. “Yes kids will always come first, but mama needs to take care of herself too. Selena Gomez has released brand new music. And it very clearly seems to focus on a famous old boyfriend. Yes, we’re looking at you, Justin Bieber. Back in March, Gomez and Bieber broke up , although source insisted at the time that this split was different from the MANY other times the stars parted ways. They insisted this was merely a temporary setback for the singer, who had reconciled romantically in November, just a few months earlier. We somehow doubt it, not when the song appears to center on their romance and Selena’s regret over it. Kelly for his historically *alleged* predatory behavior toward young girls. According to Buzzfeed , Two more women have come forth to share their traumatizing story about the time they spent with R. Kelly when they were only teenagers. Both Lizzette Martinez and a woman who is only being identified as “N” say they were approached by R. Kelly when they were just 17-years-old. Martinez says she met Kelly at a Miami mall in 1995, he was fully aware of her being underage (age of consent in Florida is 18), yet still took her virginity. This sexually-pressured relationship went on until 1999 with no less than five times that Kelly allegedly abused Martinez. The second woman, “N”, is represented by her mother, Michelle. N is 27-years-old now, but her harrowing trysts with R. Kelly began a decade ago in Chicago. Although 17 is the age of consent in Illinois, N was still a young and pliable teenager. “Being silent is not the answer, so I said, ‘It’s time,’” Michelle says of her decision to speak out now about her daughter. “I want my child home.” Michelle goes on to say: “I don’t know what hold he has on her, but her last words to me was, ‘Don’t ever give up on me.’” The details of both womens’ stories are as sick and twisted as every single other story you’ve heard about the man who sociopathically calls himself “The Pied Piper”. Thomas Ravenel, the lead cast member on Bravo’s Southern Charm, is under investigation for sexual assault. According to People Magazine, which broke this disturbing story, real estate Ashley Perkins alleges that the reality star took advantage of her mother back when she went on a date with Ravenel in 2015. Parker says her mother and Ravenel met on the dating app Tinder in October of the aforementioned year and then went out on Christmas Day, about two months later. “We lived in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He was going to pick her up and they were going to go out for drinks. She agreed to that.” Parker tells People , adding that she did not witness the alleged incident. She continues as follows: “I helped her get ready – she wore a diamond tennis bracelet on her wrist. Her wrist was fine when she left the house. “He left her voicemail saying he got lost on the way to pick her up. I thought he sounded a little inebriated.” Parker, pictured below with her mother, says Ravenel “changed plans” from the original date agreement as soon as her mom got into his car. He suggested they go see a home he had just had renovated and she agreed. (We should note at this point that Southern Charm airs on Bravo and follows a bunch of rich and spoiled people around. It premiered in March of 2014.) Once inside the home, Ravenel reportedly poured his date a small glass of wine. Upon entering the nanny’s room in the residence, Ravenel “he turned on” my mom, Parker says,detailing her allegations this way: “He pushes my mom onto the nanny’s bed, grabs her wrist with one hand, then he starts trying to pull her pants off. And she’s like ‘No, no, no, stop.’ “He stuck his fingers inside of her vagina as well as her anus. “She told me that he held her hands back with one arm and then pulled his penis out and shoved it in her face.” After her mother screamed “YOU’RE A RAPIST,” Ravenel leaped out, “out of his trance,” Parker says, and left the room. After the alleged attack, Ashley claims Ravenel told Debbie “to get yourself an Uber.” However, Debbie convinced Ravenel to drive her home because she had never taken an Uber before, and he proceeded to berate her on the way there. Parker explains that her mom was acting very “withdrawn” until finally confessing to her daughter what had transpired. According to Ashley, Debbie contacted a friend who was an attorney and described the alleged situation. He advised her to get legal help, she says. Parker says they hired Gloria Allred (who has declined comment) and agreed with Ravenal in “mediation” for a settlement of $200,000. Parker and her mom now live in Florida. She says she has come forward to serve as an inspiration for other victims of sexual assault. “This is bigger than my mom. This is bigger than me. I would like to let… other women know that Thomas is not invincible,” Ashley concludes to People. “Or even just women who are against powerful men and think they can’t do anything. I want them to know, you can. I would like to see him off of Bravo. “I would like for my mom not to have to worry about flipping on the television and seeing his smug mug, flaunting his lifestyle around. It’s bigger than us now. “I’d like to see some good come out of the ugly.” In response to these charges, a lawyer for Ravenel says: My client enjoys a certain degree of fame and unfortunately has become – unfairly – a target for an individual who has, in my opinion, dubious motivations. Ravenel, who was sentenced to 10 months in jail on federal cocaine distribution charges in 2007, has starred on Southern Charm since its premiere in 2014. He shares four-year-old daughter Kensie and two-year-old son Saint with ex-girlfriend Kathryn Dennis.
