When tickets were on sale for the Believe Tour, my mum tried for days to get meet and greets but nothing came up about it. I was gutted, but still so grateful that we managed to get tickets for the show Birmingham. At this show, I met a girl and we exchanged Twitter names and had been talking. She had entered some contests through the BieberFever and you had to take a picture of your merchandise and link it to them. They picked 10 people each day that would meet Justin with a guest. When she told me if she won she’d want to take me, I was speechless and so happy that she’d want to take me. I remember her saying to me that it probably won’t happen and the chances are slim and I replied saying, “Well someone has to win them, never say never.” It was the 4th March and I was at home ringing up Kiss Radio station for hours trying to win meet and greets, until I got a text and my phone was going crazy. She had won them and I couldn’t believe it! It was the weirdest feeling ever. I was in complete shock, my mum was just on her way to work and I couldn’t speak, I was bawling my eyes out. She just kept saying, “Sophie? What’s wrong? Is someone bullying you?” I stuttered the words out, “She won them mum, I’m meeting Justin tomorrow.” She said, “Oh my god.” Neither of us could believe it! The next day we made it up to London to meet my friend and to meet Justin. We had to go in groups with others who had won the contest. As we were going in I felt so sick, I didn’t know what Justin was going to be like or how I was going to react to a moment I’ve waited for. I hardly remember anything, it all went so quickly but I walked in and just stared at him. I was speechless. Everything about him was perfect, he looked at me then looked back towards the camera. I turned my head and looked at his face as he faced the camera. He looked flawless, his jawline, everything. I quickly hugged him and kissed his neck/cheek. From people telling me I’d never meet him, to it actually happening just puts a smile on my face every single day. Tuna Capsizes Boat, Fisherman Airlifted to Safety

Man 1, Enormous Fish 0. Anthony Wichman, a 54-year old from Koloa, Hawaii reeled in a 230-pound Ahi tuna this week, only the animal did not go down without a fight: It dove deep into the water and capsized Wichman’s 14-foot boat in the process. Tuna Capsizes Boat: Report Anthony’s daughter, Anuhea, detailed the harrowing adventure to KHON2 : “In his mind, he thought he was dying, that he was gone,” Anuhea told the station, explaining that her dad freed himself just enough to use a water-proof cell phone and call his daughter. “All I could hear was him hyper-ventilating and puking.” Fortunately, Anuhea also heard the words “sinking” and “Coast Guard” and called the latter, who tracked Wichman down via his phone’s GPS and sent a helicopter in to make the rescue. “It seriously is a miracle,” said Abraham Apilado, a fisherman pal at the scene. Most amazingly? Wichman only had bruising and rope burn… and the tuna stayed on the line! Sounds like someone is up for a role in Sharknado 2 ! Bring it, giant animals around the world!

By: Demetri Ravanos There are plenty of people that think Adam Carolla is a jerk. Others call him a clown. Huffington Post went out of its way earlier this year to call him a racist. Here at Mr. Skin, we just call him a friend. What Carolla really is, is painfully honest. There’s no opinion he won’t share, and when it comes to working with the Weinstein Company or another movie studio of that ilk, he is quick to tell you that after his experience working on his critically acclaimed 2009 film The Hammer , he just isn’t interested. That’s why he’s turning to his fans for help. It shouldn’t shock you this is the route Adam’s taking to fund his next movie Road Hard . When CBS Radio fired him he relied on his fans’ dedication to make his podcast a success. They came through for him in a big way. You could argue that they came through for the entire genre. Maybe crowd funding doesn’t need the boost in 2013 that podcasting did in 2009, but FundAnything.com threw their support behind Adam in hopes that their site could receive a nice bump. Carolla is offering fans everything from an advanced copy of the script to VIP treatment at the Road Hard premier and an Executive Producer credit. When I spoke with Adam on Wednesday he was getting his car, risking, in his words, “a chicken shit ticket” by driving and talking on a cell phone. Read the full Skinterview after the jump!

Royal Baby Boy Arrives, Twitter Reacts With Joy, Humor

A healthy eight-pound, six-ounce boy born at 4:24 p.m. at St. Mary’s Hospital in London today doesn’t even have a name yet, but he needs no introduction. He’s the Royal Baby, people. A few hours ago, Kate Middleton gave birth to HRH Prince of Cambridge and future heir to the throne! Bow down! The first child of Kate and Prince William is instantly third in British line of succession, behind William and his father Prince Charles (sorry Harry). The British royals aren’t the only ones celebrating Kate Middleton and Prince William’s new addition. Celebrities on both sides of the Atlantic are ecstatic. Lauryn Hill Thanks Fans For Support in New Letter From Prison

Lauryn Hill is speaking out from behind bars, where she’s doing three months for tax evasion , in a new letter she penned thanking her fans for support. Hill, who was sentenced on July 8 for failing to pay $1 million in taxes over the past decade, also talked a bit about her experience in prison so far. Hill’s team shared the message on her Tumblr , explaining that she can’t personally answer all the fan mail she’s received, but she appreciates it. “Ms. Hill receives a lot mail, and would like to let everyone know that she is doing well,” her page reads. “She also asked me to pass along this message: “I have known since very young to look for the purpose and lesson in everything, including the trials. Although it has taken some adjustment, I cannot deny the favor I have encountered while in here, and general warm reception from a community of people who despite their circumstances, have found unique ways to make the best of them. Thank you for the letters of concern and well wishes that I receive in the mail every day. Although I may not be able to write everyone back, please know that they have been received, read, acknowledged, and appreciated. With Love back, MLH” Lauryn Hill also listed the names of dozens of fans who have personally written to her, thanking them “for their words of encouragement and support.” Not as combative as previous Lauryn Hill rants , but maybe that’s a good thing. She should be out of federal prison in Danbury, Conn., where she resides in open dormitory-style living quarters and does manual labor, by October.

I just wanted to hold Justin for a bit and thank him for saving my life. My dream is to get a tattoo in his handwriting saying “believe” to cover up my cuts. Justin is the only reason why I’m still alive, tears actually burn behind my eyes while I’m putting these words together. I wanted to meet Justin so bad. After so many failed tries, I finally succeeded! The whole script was worked out in my head, if only Justin would follow it, but then Ryan (the M&G host) told us the rules: Justin is not allowed to sign anything – and since I’m a chicken, I didn’t dare to do it anyway. I asked Ryan whilst crying, and he told me that he loved the idea and that he wish he could do something for me, which made me smile. We finally got in line, last minute me and some girls sprayed on a bunch of Girlfriend. I walked in and saw my lifesaver standing there right in front of me. I managed to get a “Hi” out of my mouth. All I could do was stare at him. I saw him slowly turning my way and he did this nod-wink thing to me. How am I suppose to function after that? His mouth opened and I followed his lips making the words “Hey, what’s up?” I wanted to answer, but I couldn’t find the right words. Like what am I supposed to say? “Oh nothing much, just meeting my idol. What about you?” I totally blacked out. We made eye contact for a few seconds and I somehow ended up next to him with my arm around him. After the picture was taken my legs started moving, but my mind didn’t. I couldn’t think. I might of thanked him, I might have not. But I’m grateful for every second in that room with him. Even though I didn’t get what I wanted, I’m happy with what happened. Storage Wars’ Dave Hester Ordered to Pay $122K in Legal Fees

Does Dave Hester owe A&E a ton of money in legal fees after the network prevailed in an anti-SLAPP motion against the former Storage Wars star? Yuuuuuuuuuuup!!!! Hester, who’s suing Storage Wars ‘ production company Original Productions and A&E in a complaint that claims the show is staged, must pay $122,692. In a tentative ruling , Dave Hester was ordered to cough up $96,735 to A&E and $25,957 to Original (they asked for $138,194 and $43,283 initially). The reduction came after Hester objected to figures regarding the staffing and hours that A&E and Original claimed to have expended on the motion. Hester sued A&E and Original in December, claiming that he had been fired from the hit reality show for complaining that events have been rigged. Specifically, Hester alleges, producers plant valuable items in storage lockers, which competitors then bid on, supposedly without knowing what’s inside. The show has been besieged with real-life drama over the past year as every cast member seems to really want to get paid – via a raise or a lawsuit.

Minutes after the controversial verdict was announced in the George Zimmerman trial, celebs and common folk alike took to Twitter to sound off. The case had been a lightning rod for racial and political tension since Trayvon Martin was shot and killed in February 2012, and it showed last night. A jury unanimously found George Zimmerman not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter on Saturday night in a Seminole County Court. Twitter exploded with reactions – some more sensible than others – all over the country as people tried to make sense of the complex and tragic case. Rambo Video Game Trailer: Shoot ‘Em Up Like It’s 1982!

When I woke up this morning my first thought was, “man I really wish there was a new Rambo game I could play and relive all those fabulous 80s era memories” and like manna from heaven… here it is!  Check out the  Rambo game trailer below! Rambo Video Game Trailer Admittedly, I have not kept up (read: watched anything beyond the first twenty minutes of the first movie) with the  Rambo  franchise so I really couldn’t tell you which movie this game was based on, if any at all. However, I can say that Stallone has never looked better. His skin is so smooth with just the right amount of stubble. Well done. Truly. I am puzzled as to why the world thought we needed a  Rambo game but I’m sure there are people out there who still like him.  Looking for more video game videos?
