True Or False: Did Usher Really Chop Down Two Of Tameka’s Bridesmaids???

The Usher/Tameka custody battle has gotten even messier . Apparently we missed a few juicy tidbits from the courtroom proceedings last week. Fortunately HipHopEnquirer had the full rundown, including how a marriage counselor testified that Tameka told him Ush got his “Climax” on with two of her bridesmaids: Just before the trial concluded on Friday, Attorney Lisa West called to the stand Marriage Therapist Sola Winley who gave direct testimony as to why he believed Tameka Raymond was under a great deal of stress. One of the things that stood out in his testimony was the fact that Tameka told him that Usher had slept with two of her bridesmaids. This revelation apparently didn’t go well with Usher as he stormed out the courtroom during a recess mumbling the words, “Now I am sleeping with her bridesmaids?” Would it surprise you if Ush had hit off a few of Tameka’s friends/bridesmaids? That wasn’t the only damaging evidence presented in the courtroom. Former nannies threw both Ush and Tameka under the bus with details about how much they loved the kids but couldn’t deal with the horrible parenting going on. Nanny Jenny Silva said her interactions with Usher were “not good” and her interaction with Tameka were “terrible”. Ironically Ush testified that he was willing to pay for Silva because he wanted insurance that someone would be with the children at all times because he knew Tameka might be away or not attentive. He cited two instances, one of which was Tameka leaving the house saying she was going to the movies, but being gone for 2-3 days leaving the children with Silva. Silva allegedly had many run-ins with Tameka regarding her lack of parenting, leaving for extended periods of time and not having food in the house. “She (Jenny Silva) was more of a parent to the children than Tameka was at the time,” said Usher. Another issue was Tameka using Silva to care of all four children when she was only hired to care for Cinco and Nayvid. Usher estimated the former couple went through 11 nannies since their divorce. Another nanny Jackie Martin contacted court appointed guardian Dan Bloom via email regarding her fears about the adverse effect the inconsistent schedules were having on the boys. She claimed that after returning from visiting Usher the boys used profanity like “Holy sh*t.” She also reportedly expressed her frustration with Tameka and concern for the kids if she quit. Martin also shared a story about a Miami trip where she was forced to stay in the car with one of the boys for over an hour while Tameka, the other son and a friend with to a Miami Heat game because they didn’t have enough tickets. SMH. This sounds like a damn shame, but they definitely need to be in court if they haven’t gotten it together by now. Do you think the bridesmaids thing was just another reckless accusation by Tameka to make Ush look bad? Source & Photo Credit Continue reading

Lindsay Lohan’s ‘Glee’ Cameo: Co-Star Perez Hilton Weighs In!

Celebrity-gossip blogger skirts addressing Lohan’s alleged unprofessionalism while shooting this week’s ‘Nationals’ episode. By John Mitchell, with reporting by Audrey Kim Lindsay Lohan on “Glee” Photo: Adam Rose/ FOX Celebrity-gossip blogger Perez Hilton guest stars on this week’s big “Nationals” episode of “Glee,” but was uncharacteristically reluctant to address the rumors of fellow guest star Lindsay Lohan’s alleged on-set misbehavior when MTV News caught up with him at Wango Tango in Los Angeles this weekend. “I’m on ‘Nationals,’ a very important episode, and Lindsay Lohan is also on this episode,” Hilton told MTV News. “And it’s a nail-biter. Everybody has to watch.” When the conversation turned to allegations that Lohan was hours late to set and was difficult once she finally arrived, Hilton chose his words very carefully, turning the conversation back to himself — and in so doing, seemed to imply that Lohan was not at her professional best. Asked about talk of Lohan’s misbehavior, Hilton said, ” I showed up to set early and prepared and was very happy to be there and professional, excited and appreciative for the opportunity.” Rumors of on-set trouble erupted April 25, when actress Dot-Marie Jones, who plays Coach Beiste on the Fox hit, tweeted about an unnamed person’s late arrival to set, causing delays in filming. “Gonna be a long day!! Some ppl show up late and just throw a wrench in things,” Jones reportedly tweeted. “Not cool! I’d rather be an hour early (I was) than 5 minutes late!” Jones’ tweet has since been deleted. Regarding Lohan’s alleged tardiness, the actress’ rep, Steve Honig, told E! News that there was a mixup with her call time, and said any claims of problems on the “Glee” set are “utter B.S.” “This is a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay. She busted her ass yesterday and is back on set again today,” he continued. Like Hilton, Lohan appears as herself on the episode. The pair play judges at the national singing competition the show’s choir, New Directions, participates in. Related Artists Lindsay Lohan

TIME Magazine’s Breastfeeding Cover Mom Says She’ll Take Her Toddler Off Her Tata Sometime This Year…

Considering he turns 4 next month, don’t you think it’s about TIME ? The young mom who sparked a media storm breastfeeding her 3-year-old son on the cover of Time magazine is opening up about the controversial photo. Jamie Lynne Grumet, 26, appeared on NBC’s “Today” show on Friday to discuss the cover, which shows her casually nursing her toddler Aram, who stares straight into the camera while he stands on a wooden chair. “I do understand why Time chose this picture, because it did create such a media craze … to get the dialogue talking,” Grumet said. The ensuing controversy focused on attachment parenting – the topic of Time’s cover story – particularly extended breastfeeding. Grumet explains that she was breastfed until she was 6-years-old and cites it as the reason she and her mother have a close bond. Dr. Bill Sears, who developed the attachment parenting theory, also appeared on “Today” with Grumet. While both are advocates of the controversial parenting technique – which also includes co-sleeping, or letting children sleep in their parent’s beds – Grumet admits it’s not for everyone. “You need to do what’s best for your own baby and your family,” she says. And not all of the criticism is coming from people against attachment parenting, Grumet notes. “I understand some of the breast-feeding advocates are actually upset about this,” she said on “Today.” Mommyish.com blogger Shawna Cohen, who says she practices some attachment parenting principles, wrote that she was disappointed in the Time cover. “It angers me because it portrays AP moms as being totally extreme,” she wrote in a blog post. “And in most cases, that couldn’t be further from the truth.” Even celebrities chimed in – including new mom Alyssa Milano. “Time, no! You missed the mark!” the actress wrote on Twitter. “You’re supposed to be making it easier for breastfeeding moms. Your cover is exploitative and extreme.” Grumet explains that the cover didn’t adequately demonstrate the nurturing side of attachment parenting. “This isn’t how we breastfeed at home,” she says. “It’s more of a cradling, nurturing situation.” Grumet, who has one other 5-year-old son, says she hopes to stop breastfeeding Aram, who turns 4 next month, sometime in the next year. Clearly TIME knew what they were doing with the controversial cover. And can you really blame them when subscriptions are probably in the dumps (believe us, they’ve been stalking us for a renewal). But we are happy to hear that three-year-old Aram isn’t really standing on a stool while he gnaws on his Mommy’s milk carriers. Since news of this cover came out, has it encouraged anyone to look more deeply into attachment parenting? Where do you weigh in on this issue? Source

R.I.P. 20,000 Plus Gather At Qualcomm Stadium For The Public Memorial And Jersey Retirement Of Junior Seau

Keepin’ it classy in San Diego San Diego Chargers Fans Gather For Public Memorial For Junior Seau Hours after Junior Seau was buried in his hometown, thousands of fans got their chance to cheer one more time for the hard-hitting, fist-pumping linebacker at the stadium where he starred for 13 seasons. A crowd estimated at 20,000 attended a public memorial service at Qualcomm Stadium. Many wore Seau’s No. 55 jersey — in Chargers blue, Southern California cardinal and gold and Miami Dolphins aqua and orange. One of Seau’s cousins wore a jersey combing the colors of all three of his pro teams, including the New England Patriots. Former NFL safety John Lynch led a shout-out of “Buddy!” — Seau’s greeting to friends and strangers alike. “I love it,” Lynch said. “He was a good and loyal friend,” said former teammate LaDainian Tomlinson, who drew some of the biggest cheers of the night as he spoke of Seau. “Notice the words I said: good and loyal.” Chargers president Dean Spanos made official what many had known since Seau left after the 2002 season, that No. 55 will never be worn by another Chargers player. Among those attending were Seau’s parents, his ex-wife and their children, several current and former Chargers, and former rival John Elway. Elway, who now runs Denver’s front office, was accompanied by new Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and coach John Fox, a former assistant with San Diego. LaDainian Tomlinson also spoke to to Junior’s grieving parents: “Mama Seau, Papa Seau, it’s time for you to take a bow. Why? Because of everything that you instilled in Junior, and taught him and told him to go out and be happy and do happy, he did that. He instilled in everybody he touched, the things you taught him. So don’t be sad today, be happy because Junior lives through us every day in everything he’s touched.” Then, reciting the names of Seau’s children, who were seated in the front row, Tomlinson said: “Go make your father proud. He’ll live through you. Thank you, Junior.” We still can’t believe Junior is gone, pretty damn sad. R.I.P. Source Image via AP

‘Beautiful Creatures’: Exclusive First Look At The Magical Set!

MTV News travels to New Orleans, where four stars of the upcoming YA adaptation talk about the supernatural romance. By Amy Wilkinson Alice Englert and Alden Ehrenreich on the set of “Beautiful Creatures” NEW ORLEANS — This is a story of boy meets girl. Or, more accurately, boy meets caster. What is a caster, you may be asking? In the southern gothic world imagined by “Beautiful Creatures” authors Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, casters have magical powers much like witches. Some can seduce men with one lick of a lollipop. Others can mutate their arm into a slithering snake. And still others can channel Mother Nature, bending weather to their will. This is the supernatural realm MTV News stepped into recently during our exclusive visit to the New Orleans set of “Beautiful Creatures.” While there we got the scoop on the adaptation straight from the film’s four young stars. “Lena is a young girl who also happens to be a caster, and she’s moved around — she’s moved to a lot of small towns and problems follow her,” Alice Englert told us of her character. “She’s just come to Gatlin, which is so insignificant it doesn’t have a Starbucks, etc., and [the theater] gets the titles of movie names wrong, and everyone thinks I’m a Satanist.” Just the usual adolescent angst, right? Englert conceded that underneath her supernatural surface, Lena struggles with issues any typical teen would: “I think Lena is like most girls when you feel massively insecure.” Few things can make one feel more insecure than being bullied by classmates, which just so happened to be the theme of the scene being shot during our visit. “We’re shooting a scene where there sort of begins this class persecution of Lena, and it’s very blatant,” Englert explained. “The girls in class are sort of this awful clique of girls, who are always being mean to her, and they start tormenting her,” chimed in co-star Alden Ehrenreich , who plays Lena’s love interest, Ethan. “It’s getting out of control, and she gets of control,” Englert concluded. This particular scene was just one of many effects-laden moments scheduled during production — one in which the windows of the classroom shatter in magnificent fashion. “I forgot that we were shooting, and I just stood there, like, [ drops jaw ], my eyes crossed. It’s going to look so ridiculous,” enthused Zoey Deutch, who plays mean girl Emily. “It’s really fun. It was insane. It was so loud. I really thought there was an earthquake.” Special effects aside, Deutch was also impressed with the film’s source material, counting herself among the many fans of “Beautiful Creatures.” “I loved the books, I thought they were incredible,” she said. “I thought they were smart and like nothing I’d ever read before. I’m an avid ‘Harry Potter’ fan, and [‘Beautiful Creatures’] was kind of my favorite series I’ve read since then.” But for those wanting to draw parallels between protagonist Ethan Wate and the Boy Who Lived (or even a certain sparkly vampire), Thomas Mann, who plays Link, said not so fast. “I think it’s definitely going to be unique from those stories,” he assured. “Beautiful Creatures” hits theaters February 15, 2013. ‘American Idol’ Top Four Tease Songs For California Dreamin’ Night

‘It’s a well-known song … I kind of messed with it a little bit, but not too much with the melody … trying to get the lyrics down,’ Phillip Phillips said of his Cali song. By Gil Kaufman, with reporting by Kelly Marino “American Idol” top four Photo: FOX One of the joys of “American Idol” is that you never really know what the finalists are going to sing until the music starts. Even though we know that this week’s themes are Songs by Californians and Songs They Wish They’d Written, it’s anyone’s guess what the top four will sing. MTV News “Idol” experts Gil Kaufman and James Montgomery will take a shot at predicting which way Joshua Ledet, Hollie Cavanagh, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez will go tonight, but in the meantime we caught up with them earlier this week to get a sneak peek at their California dreams. “This week’s theme is ‘California Dreamin’ and it’s been a difficult one because people have been telling me, ‘more current songs and this and that’ and this was a week where I could sing a current song,” said Sanchez, who has been dinged by judges and mentor Jimmy Iovine for sometimes dressing and singing a bit beyond her 16 years. “But really I’m trying to stay with my gut feeling and I’m trying to pull out the really big guns, so I’m singing a big song for both of my choices. Don’t expect a Katy Perry song.” Cavanagh has been on an upswing lately after several weeks of living on the edge, but that doesn’t mean tune selection was any easier. “This week it’s tough because I picked really two emotional songs, so these two songs I have to really just kind of let loose and I have to make people feel what I’m feeling when I sing and make them understand the words because I’m singing two popular songs that people love,” teased Cavanagh. “If I don’t the right message across then people aren’t going to love it.” Phillip Phillips played his cards a bit close to the vest, saying only that his “Dreamin'” choice is “kind of a challenge” lyrically considering the multiple other tunes the contestants have to learn for their group and duet numbers. “Trying to get the lyrics down pat is my biggest thing,” he said. “It’s a well-known song … I kind of messed with it a little bit, but not too much with the melody … trying to get the lyrics down.” And once again, Joshua Ledet said he had a hard time narrowing down his choice because he was unfamiliar with many of the options on the list. “The song that I chose, it’s very, very, very different for me. Very different for me,” the soul-shouting singer said. “It’s just a different side of me. It’s just subtle, it’s not too much of the huge ballad. It was tough, but I think I kind of pulled through it and hopefully America likes it.” Get your “Idol” fix on MTV News’ : “American Idol” page , where you’ll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions.
