I would never think I would be writing MY own Bieber experience,…

I would never think I would be writing  MY  own Bieber experience, but I guess that’s why Justin always tells us to never say never. Always follow your dreams and never give up. It took me awhile to get to this place in my life and I’m glad I worked so hard to get here. My friend had told me about Justin coming to New York and having a perfume launch at Macy’s. I did everything possible to make this happen. I camped out on June 21 since 8pm the day before so I could get meet and greets and then stayed there till 2am the next day. The city floors were disgusting but I knew this would be my only way to meet him. The next day, June 22, they gave out cards. I was number 117 out of 325 tickets so I knew I made the cut! It was the best feeling in the world. We soon went into Macy’s and payed for our perfume and a whole lot of other stuff that came along with it. The next day, June 23rd was the day I met Justin Bieber! I was 6th to last on line and it was the best feeling in the world. I couldn’t believe this perfect 17 year old kid I obsess over was standing right next to me. He had a beautiful smile and just that amazing voice I couldn’t resist. I told him that I loved him and he said I love you too. I am so blessed to even had this opportunity! Love you & thank you bieber experience! -@jessbieberdel See the original post: I would never think I would be writing MY own Bieber experience,…

‘Harry Potter’ Star Alan Rickman Thanks Fans For Snape’s World Cup Win

‘It’s a vote for ambiguity,’ Alan Rickman says at ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2’ premiere. By Kara Warner Alan Rickman Photo: MTV News After 7.4 million votes cast and over three weeks of intense, head-to-head wizard combat action in MTV’s “Harry Potter” World Cup, conflicted, calculating and beloved antihero Severus Snape has emerged a champion. It is an impressive feat indeed, with Snape having overcome heavy hitters and fan favorites Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and Harry Potter himself. MTV News was lucky enough to present the fancy World Cup trophy to Alan Rickman, the man responsible for bringing life and suspense to the complex character, at Monday’s New York premiere of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.” “You’re lying, aren’t you?” Rickman said upon learning the news of Snape’s victory. “I gotta get this on the plane tomorrow?” he joked. “Well, thank you, and it doesn’t weigh nothing,” he added, commenting on the prize’s weight. “Is it chocolate, I hope? Thank you very much.” When asked what the victory means to him, Rickman took it seriously and further thanked the character’s fans for recognizing the many aspects of Snape’s magical journey. “It’s a vote for ambiguity and things where you don’t quite know how they’re going to turn out,” he said of Snape’s is-he-evil-or-good story line. “And also, it’s [Snape’s] values that you can’t talk about without ruining the film, but things like courage and determination and loyalty and love, actually.” “Thank you,” Rickman reiterated before heading into the premiere. “I appreciate it; that’s an American thing.” Rupert Grint, whose Ron Weasley was our second-place finisher, was not surprised to learn that Snape triumphed over his character. In fact, he had predicted it. “I knew it,” he said with a smile when we broke the news to him. “It’s the right choice,” he admitted. Severus Snape Wins ‘Harry Potter’ World Cup!

Complicated professor takes down Harry’s best friend Ron Weasley for the title of greatest ‘Potter’ character ever. By Eric Ditzian Alan Rickman as Severus Snape Photo: Warner Bros. Sixty-four contestants. Four weeks. More than 7 million votes. And now just one wizard is left standing: Potions master Severus Snape has won MTV News’ “Harry Potter” World Cup ! As announced during our live stream of the “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” red-carpet premiere in New York City, Snape bested Ron Weasley to earn the fan-voted title of the greatest character ever in J.K. Rowling’s fantasy series. And it wasn’t even close. Coming off an extraordinary two-match run, in which he smacked down Harry Potter himself and then stormed past Hermione Granger, Snape shot out to an early lead over Weasley and never looked back. Poor Ron — who eked out a hard-fought victory in round three over his brother Fred and barely squeaked past wizard Sirius Black — never really had a chance. He may have been the last of the Big Three to stay alive in the Cup, an impressive achievement in its own right, but there was nothing he could do when facing, in Snape, a character on a sizzling winning streak and possessing perhaps the franchise’s most complex, satisfying arc. Snape began the tournament as a dangerous #2 seed in the Privet Drive bracket. He wasted no time absolutely embarrassing Death Eater spawn Vincent Crabbe, walking away with nearly 98 percent of the vote. From there, he wiped the floor with Professor Flitwick and ran over fan favorite Dobby the House Elf. Even Harry Potter himself presented little challenge for Snape, who seemingly could have sleepwalked through his face-off with the boy wizard and still come out on top. That was some seriously impressive stuff. But he didn’t stop there, going on to best Hermione in the Final Four with almost 63 percent of the vote. So let us all applaud Severus Snape for his epic run and staggering victory in the one-and-only “Harry Potter” World Cup. But while we’re at it, we must applaud everyone who voted (and voted and voted and voted) in the tournament. The fan response to the event was far greater than we could have ever hoped. You guys took on the challenge with gusto and dedication — voting and commenting, tweeting and Facebook updating, campaigning and protesting and celebrating. In the end, your favorite character might not have won, but no one can dispute the singular, staggering popularity of “Harry Potter.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Lil Wayne’s Carter IV ‘Totally Done’

MC also tells MTV News that hit ‘How to Love’ was inspired by Tupac’s ladies’ anthem ‘Keep Ya Head Up.’ By Rob Markman, with reporting Rahman Dukes Lil Wayne Photo: MTV News Tunechi’s back and Tha Carter IV is done! During an interview with MTV News last week, Lil Wayne confirmed that the recording of the highly anticipated fourth installment of his Tha Carter series is finished and will drop at the end of August, a day after the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards air live on August 28. “The album is done and it’ll be out August 29. It’s totally done,” Wayne told us. While the MC’s upcoming mixtape, Sorry for the Wait, will no doubt feature Wayne spewing rapid-fire rap over concussive beats, judging by the latest Carter IV single, the album will offer even more diversity. According to Wayne, the acoustic-flavored, sing-songy “How to Love” was actually inspired by Tupac Shakur. “That song is just sweeping the world. It’s touching every woman, that’s what it was for,” Wayne said. “It was like Tupac had ‘Keep Ya Head Up’ and it was a message to women and little girls across the world just to keep your head up even though things are hard. That’s what my song was.” ‘Pac’s 1993 song became one of his biggest hits. On it, Shakur rapped about the plight of single mothers and battered women. For “How to Love,” Weezy also lends a sympathetic ear. “A lot of women don’t know how to love because there’s deep reasons for them not knowing how to love,” he explained. “And what I mean by deep reasons is deep and dark reasons. A lot of people don’t open up that can and I figured that I can open up that can of worms and see what happens.” How do you think Wayne’s “How to Love” compares to Tupac’s “Keep Ya Head Up”? Via Pension Pulse. It’s Sunday and I’m back in reflection mode. Actually, I’m hung over. Went out last night, my buddies stood me up, but I ended up having a great time with two smart, beautiful single Greek ladies. A bit too good of a time as we drank it up at the bar and cracked jokes all night long. I had a blast comparing notes on the singles scene (learned that women are now worse than men!)….
