According to Gawker, a source claims that during his divorce battle with ex-wife, Maureen McPhilmy, “the justice in the case heard testimony accusing O’Reilly of assaulting his wife in the couple’s Manhasset home.” O’Reilly and McPhilmy are in the midst of a custody battle over their two children, Spencer and Madeline. Apparently, things got out of hand, and Bill dragged Maureen down the stairs by her neck. Gawker acknowledged that New York family court cases are sealed, but the source said “a court-appointed forensic examiner testified at a closed hearing that O’Reilly’s daughter claimed to have witnessed her father dragging McPhilmy down a staircase by her neck, apparently unaware that the daughter was watching.” At this time, it isn’t clear when this incident happened. It could have occurred before they split in 2010. “The same source indicated that the daughter, who is 16 years old, told the forensic examiner about the incident within the past year,” claimed Gawker. McPhilmy and O’Reilly divorced in September 2011. Initially, they split custody of their children. But McPhilmy recanted and went for sole custody after O’Reilly put their children’s therapist on his payroll. According to a judge, when O’Reilly put the therapist, Lynne Kulakowski, on his payroll, she became responsible “to perform virtually all of [O’Reilly’s] parental duties.” This isn’t the first time O’Reilly’s ethics have been interrogated. And since Ireland left rehab on May 2, she has continued outpatient care. Rehab is no easy feat, and Ireland is kicking a** with 30 days sober under her belt. “Ireland has been following through with her outpatient program and she is super excited about getting 30 days clean,” according to a Radar Online insider. “She is currently doing the night and weekends outpatient program, which is designed for those people with busy schedules during the day,” claims the source. She has also taken advantage of emerging forms of therapy. “Ireland has also been attending groups on certain days and utilizing the program’s extra activities, such as the yoga sessions and equine therapy.” Her superstar mother Kim Basinger has been a great support system. Although Ireland defended her father , Kim seems to be the one offering the most support. The source said, “Her mother Kim has been coming with her to several of her outpatient appointments and she is very proactive with her daughter’s recovery.” Baldwin checked into rehab to overcome emotional trauma. “She is in much better shape physically and mentally than she was when she checked in a month ago,” the source said. “Everyone is really proud of her.
