But the multi-hyphenate entertainer still has more energy than most, as he showed when he and his Diddy-Dirty Money collective took to the stage early Friday morning (June 4) for the “Good Morning America” Summer Concert Series in Manhattan’s Central Park. “I wanna thank y’all for coming out, New York,” Diddy told the gathered crowd during a commercial break. “I know you got work [to go to].” The Bad Boy Records mogul performed his latest single, “Hello, Good Morning,” sans featured guests Rick Ross and T.I. Backed by Dawn Richards and Kaleena, Diddy was upbeat and energetic at an hour when most New Yorkers were sipping their first cup of coffee. “How fly is he/ Your baby mama cry for me like Jodeci,” Diddy rapped over the frenzied track. “So how you not notice me/ Pull up to the club in the coldest V.” Later, he delivered a medley of his past hits, including “Last Night,” “All About the Benjamins” and “Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems.” Diddy’s long-in-the-works album, Last Train to Paris, is set for a June 28 release at midnight following the BET Awards. The music magnate told “GMA hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos that his ” Train music” is “constantly progressive.” Recently, Diddy explained the project was more R&B-based than electro-infused as many had initially believed. The album’s love story is what drives the bulk of the collection, he said. “One of the things we’re trying to represent is emotion,” Diddy told MTV News late last year. “Not being afraid to show emotion on record. A lot of records out right now — no disrespect to them, but they’re all surface. It’s about what people have, or a dance. “All our records are gonna be about love, feelings and emotion,” Diddy continued. ” Last Train to Paris is a love story, and the most vulnerable album I’ve ever been involved in. It’s raw emotion — you get a feeling, a vibe.” What did you think about Diddy’s “GMA” performance? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Diddy-Dirty Money Diddy

‘Sex And The City 2’ Premiere Prompts Stars To Play ‘Which Character Are You?’

Whitney Port, Mario Cantone and others pick whether they identify most with Carrie or her friends. By Jocelyn Vena Whitney Port at the “Sex and the City 2” premiere Monday Photo: Andrew H. Walker/ Getty Images NEW YORK — Sure, the big debate on the red carpet of the “Sex and the City 2” premiere was all about Mr. Big vs. Aidan Shaw, but the stars who turned out to celebrate the flick were also eager to play a little round of “Which character are you?” with MTV News. While, Carrie Bradshaw was the popular choice, some others felt they were really a combination of all four of the women. “I think I relate to Carrie probably the most,” “The City” star Whitney Port told MTV News before the big premiere, which took place at Radio City. “Because I think career-wise [we have a lot in common], like the path that she took.” Mario Cantone may play Charlotte’s best gay friend Anthony in the series and movies, but he doesn’t see himself as a Charlotte. “It’d probably be Samantha, ’cause I’m a slut!” Figure skater Johnny Weir was hesitant to choose a character. “You know what? I’m a combination,” he said at first. “I’m very uptight at times like Charlotte. I’m dirty like Samantha, at times. But overall, I’d say I’m Carrie. I bring my clique of friends all together. I’m the center.” Leave it to talk-show personality Wendy Williams to articulate what makes her the perfect combination of all the ladies. “I totally am a reasonable combination of all of them,” she said. “Carrie is fun to watch, but I’m too frugal to be Carrie. She always lived way beyond her budget. That’s scary to me. Samantha is too loose to be older. … Miranda is, at times, too scared of men, and I’m not. And Charlotte is looking for the perfect man, and he doesn’t exist.” Which “Sex and the City” star do you relate to most? Tell us in the comments! ‘Lost’ Fans Sound Off On Finale’s Unanswered Questions

‘Where did Walt go? Where’s Aaron?,’ one ‘Lost’ die-hard asks. By Josh Wigler The cast of “Lost” Photo: ABC NEW YORK — While the “Lost” finale Sunday night certainly provided closure on several of the show’s main characters, it didn’t necessarily answer some of the burning questions that kept fans on the edge of their seats for the better part of six seasons. But what questions were fans hoping to have resolved? To find out, MTV News hit the streets of New York and spoke with “Lost” viewers about their lingering questions. Although she was mostly satisfied with the way “Lost” ended, Megan Betts revealed one line of questioning that could have used some clarification: “Where did Walt go? Where’s Aaron? What the heck was with the children on the island? That was the one thing that bothered me that was never really answered.” Many fans weren’t clear on the resolution of the sideways universe, an apparent afterlife of sorts where the souls of the “Lost” cast congregate after death. “They were playing the parallel universe next to the ‘Lost’ universe, so I was trying to figure out if something was going to happen. Are these worlds going to converge?” asked Vincent Perissi. “It left me wanting more. I wanted to find out what was still happening.” Other watchers were left wondering exactly what the island is and what it represents. “I always thought the island was kind of a testing facility,” posited Derek Hagerty. “That’s what I’m going to stick with.” “As sad as I am to say it, what initially everyone who watched the show seven years ago thought a sort of purgatory,” Jenny Hank offered of her own theory. For certain fans, the ultimate significance of the island isn’t particularly important to how the series wrapped up. In fact, some “Lost” enthusiasts felt that the finale resolved all of the show’s most important questions. “There will always be questions and there will always be things they didn’t answer,” argued Mike Cayhurst. “But then again, there are things in everything that never get answered.” But for the fans who are still left wanting answers, don’t lose hope: executive producers and show runners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have promised that an upcoming “Lost” DVD bonus feature would resolve many of the show’s dangling threads. Of course, that leads to yet another burning question: can you wait until August for the DVD’s release?
