Wow. Smh. Go Spurs,” Weezy tweeted just hours before tip-off. Tunechi is a noted L.A. Lakers fan, but his friend and manager Cortez Bryant is a San Antonio Spurs die-hard, so Weezy thought he’d treat his buddy to a game — that is until OKC brass spoiled his plans. It was Young Money President Mack Maine who tried to score the tickets through a broker, but securing the seats proved to be difficult. “He finally just let me know, they not really tryin’ to sell tickets to him,” Mack Maine told MTV News minutes after the playoff game ended. “They said they’ll give him some tickets on the front row behind, but they’re not really tryin’ to have him sittin’ courtside.” Then things got even weirder Mack, told us. “Then they also sent a message back sayin’ the OKC policy was no special parking and no escort, so he gotta walk in like everybody else,” he explained. “Why would you actually want to cause pandemonium? That’s gonna make it harder for your security.” Mack explained that he and Weezy were just concerned about their safety and the safety of the fans. It’s hard to imagine that the multiplatinum superstar could just slip in and out of an arena unnoticed. “We’re not no prima donnas, but that’s just common sense, for our safety and the safety of your building,” the Billionaire Minds rapper said. “We were basically just tryin’ to take our brother to the game.” Chances are Tez wouldn’t have enjoyed himself anyway, as his beloved Spurs lost to the Thunder in a blowout, 102-82. “Yeah it worked out perfect anyway,” he said. Nicki Minaj surely doesn’t, as her brand-new, eye-popping “Beez in the Trap” video is a throwback to the MC’s pre-Young Money days. “When I was doing my mixtapes, I would perform in strip clubs, I would perform in clubs and it was just like some of my most die-hard fans would be in these places,” Nicki told MTV News on Friday after putting on a secret show in Times Square . “I wanted to kinda like honor them — kinda honor all my girls in the club and just say thank you for the support.” The Benny Boom-directed clip, which was released Friday, follows Nicki as she struts through the nudie bar counting hundreds and working her money-maker in some very flattering outfits. In one scene, Ms. Minaj sports a leopard-print catsuit and shakes her tail feather alongside “Beez in the Trap” guest 2 Chainz . “When I see the strippers and all of that, they always show me love, so I wanted to kinda make a video around them,” the reigning rap queen said. “I hit up Benny Boom like, ‘Yo, I need a sexy video right now.’ I knew 2 Chainz wasn’t gonna be mad.” “Beez” is the second video from Nicki’s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. The album, which is expected to hit #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart later this week, features an even distribution of pop tracks like the RedOne-produced “Starships” and more street-oriented material. Lil Wayne Not Allowed To Skate In Peace, So Young Money Goons Spit And Beat Up Thirsty Pap’s… BIKE! [Video] Lil Wayne’s entourage spat in a photog’s face, pushed him to the ground in the rain, then beat the crap out of his bicycle — this according to a police report filed last week in Miami. According to the report, obtained by TMZ, the photog spotted Wayne and his entourage skateboarding outside some church — right beside a “no skateboarding” sign — so he decided to take a few pics. The photog claims Wayne and his boys packed it in after it started to rain — so he followed the group to their car, snapping pics along the way. According to the report, Weezy didn’t much like the attention (as you can see in the video) — so he ordered his goons to take the man’s camera … at which point roughly eight men surrounded him, and intimidated him into deleting several of his photos. The clip doesn’t hit YouTube until Saturday, but on Friday (April 6), Nicki riled up more than 1,000 fans who gathered to see the reigning rap queen rock an unannounced show, sponsored by Nokia . It was 7:30 p.m. ET when the counter on the stage clock hit zero and the blue curtain revealed the Female Weezy in all her glory. Dressed in a blond wig, white collared shirt and black one-piece with tiger-striped stockings, Nicki set things off properly with her current top-five single “Starships.” Fans threw their hands up and danced, releasing all their anxiety from the hours that they waited. “Who’s in love? Is anybody in love?” the Young Money star asked before launching into her Chris Brown-assisted midtempo “Right By My Side.” There was no Breezy, but Nicki made sure to bring that boom-ba-boom-boom with her when the beat for the infectious “Super Bass” dropped. The Harajuku Barbie danced and rapped, encouraging all her Barbz to sing along. “It’s an honor for me to be here tonight. I’m from New York,” she said before announcing to the crowd that they will be filmed and that the footage will be used in her new “Starships” DJ Doorly remix video.
