Zayn Malik: See His Glow-In-The-Dark Star Wars Tattoo

This might be one of the coolest things anyone has ever done. Zayn Malik approached his latest tattoo with the intent of finding his way through a dark room. Celebrity tattoo artist Jon Boy created a glow-in-the-dark light saber with UV ink, which he then tattooed on to Malik’s middle finger. “May the force be with you @zayn #uvink #starwars #jonboytattoo,” Jon Boy Instagram’d after. Malik recently revealed why he quit One Direction to make a go of it as a solo artist. ” An alien spoke to me in a dream….” he told Glamour . Are you yanking our chain, sir? News at the time. “It’s all very unclear what’s going on between them now. They’ve been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along.” Hadid was there for the singer when he canceled his June 11th performance at London’s Capital Summertime Ball. Malik apologized to fans for canceling the event: “Anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me” he tweeted. “With the magnitude of the event, I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career.” Hadid responded to her man’s tweet beautifully. “Z – I’ve seen the battles you go through and the way you fight to get to a place that allows you to get up there for your fans,” she wrote. “Your bravery in those times makes me proud, but your honesty last night proved what you’re all about, being real. Human recognizes human. You made the best of the situation and have given your fans an opportunity to understand you better as a performer.” Are they the cutest?

Zayn Malik Cancels Peformance Due to Severe Anxiety

It’s been a little more than a year since Zayn Malik quit One Direction to pursue a solo career, and by all accounts, it seemed to be a solid decision. In January, he released his debut solo track “Pillowtalk,” which quickly shot to the number one spot on the iTunes charts. The song was a tremendous radio hit, even though Harry Styles may not have loved it . His success earned him a headlining spot at the Capital Summertime Ball music festival in the UK on June 11, which also featured artists like Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas and Lukas Graham. But at the last minute, Zayn pulled out, citing crippling anxiety as the cause. Just one and a half hours before his scheduled performance, the singer shared this message to Instagram: “To all those people who have been waiting to see me perform at the Capital Summertime Ball today.. “I flew into the U.K. last night to appear in my home country in front of my family, friends, and most importantly, my U.K. fans. “Unfortunately my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me…” “With the magnitude of the event I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career.” “I cannot apologise enough but I want to be honest with everyone who has patiently waited to see me, I promise I will do my best to make this up to everybody I’ve let down today. “I know those who suffer anxiety will understand and I hope those who don’t can empathises with my situation.” Fans might be initially confused. After all, Zayn has experience performing in front of many thousands of people during his time with One Direction. But this sounds like more than a simple case of nerves. For those who suffer on a deep level, anxiety can indeed be debilitating. Earlier this month, Zayn and his girlfriend Gigi Hadid reportedly broke up , which may have imposed added stress on the singer. It's been several months since Zayn Malik broke hearts everywhere and left the hottest reigning boy band that is One Direction. And now we learn he never wanted to be there in the first place. WHAAAAT? “I think I always wanted to go, from like the first year, really. I just always knew.” Did Harry and Liam and Niall and Louis know?? “I think the boys kind of knew, in terms of the music, that wasn’t my cup of tea,” he said. “They were aware of that.” Well, did they even try to stop you from leaving?? “When I was leaving the band they obviously didn't want me to leave, but they couldn't talk me out of it at that point. I already made my mind up, so I just left.” Aw, man.  So what are you saying, Zayn?? It was all just a CHARADE?! Directioners everywhere must now come to terms with the fact that the fab five was really just the fab four plus a guy who just wasn't that into it. Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid: Did They Just Make It Official?

Did Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid just turn their romantic rumor into a very sweet reality? About a month after chatter circulated that the model may be hooking up with the singer, Hadid and Malik have now been photographed together in a rather sweet manner. The former One Direction member took Instagram over the weekend to share a black-and-white Polaroid selfie with his supposed love interest, the tandem’s first couple-esque picture on Instagram together. Malik did not include a caption with the image, but words are not always needed. We’re pretty sure Zayn’s closed eyes and Gigi’s hand on his cheek say everything that needs to be said. These pretty stars were first linked together in November after being photographed at an after-party for the American Music Awards together.   Since then, they’ve also been spotted having dinner together, getting very friendly while enjoying such date nights. Friends have allegedly been telling Hadid to dump Malik because he’s a pretty huge nerd, but she appears to have responded to those recommendations here via a simple caress of her hand. Earlier this month, we reported that  Gigi Hadid had broken up with Joe Jonas . Now, it appears Gigi not the type to stay single for long –  and she also has a serious thing for former boy band members. Yes, according to Us Weekly Gigi is now dating famed One Direction defector Zayn Malik – and the relationship may already be the source of some serious drama. “It’s a very new thing. They’re just seeing where it goes,” says one insider. “I wouldn’t call them boyfriend and girlfriend. But seeing each other? Definitely. He’s chuffed.” We’ll assume “chuffed” means something like “smitten.” Anyway, if you watched the 2015 American Music Awards , you may have caught the moment when Gigi openly snubbed Harry Styles on the red carpet. Harry responded with an exaggerated eye-roll for the ages. Now that news of Zaygi (Gigyn? We’ll get back to you on that nickname.) has gone public, many are wondering if Gigi dissed Harry as a way of getting her man’s back in his ongoing war against 1D. Could be, but there’s another possibility, as well. Gigi is a card-carrying member of Taylor Swift’s girl squad , and as you probably know, there’s still a bit of bad blood between Taylor and Harry. Zayn Malik Admits: I Always Wanted Out of One Direction!

Zayn Malik may have taken the tween universe by surprise when he left One Direction in March. But the singer did not take himself by any kind of surprise. Because he admits in a new interview that his departure from the beloved boy band was a very long time coming. “It’s a nice feeling to come out of a place where you are being told what to do and just to be upset because of certain expectations or certain things that people wanted to see,” Malik says in a teaser for his interview with The Fader. Malik said at the time of his One Direction departure that he wanted to just be “normal” for a little while. But fans grew skeptical once it became clear that Malik was about to embark on a solo career as an artist instead. They felt betrayed. Zayn has since signed that solo deal and her new music on the way. “I don’t feel like people really know what I’m going to give them, musically,” Malik says. “And once they hear it, I feel like they will understand me a little bit more, and they’ll understand why I did what I did, and why I left the band, and why I had to write this shit down. “Because for five – not even for five years, for ten years, this album has been in my brain, and it’s just been there, sat with me, needing to be out.” So, for years and years, Malik has been planning to break free from Harry Styles and company? B.B. King Dies: Blues Legend Was 89

Legendary guitarist B.B. King, who brought the blues from the Mississippi Delta to the mainstream, has passed away at the age of 89. Some of King’s children had been feuding with his longtime manager, Laverne Toney, about the music great’s medical care and finances. This month, Patty King accused Toney of elder abuse, a claim that was eventually shot down in court, but highlighted King’s sad situation. B.B. had been at home in hospice care since May 1. Long regarded as one of the greatest musicians in American history, King became an global sensation with his hit 1970 “The Thrill Is Gone.” He recorded countless albums both solo and with other famous musicians such as Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, U2, and Sheryl Crow. A prolific performer, King toured almost non-stop for more than 60 years with Lucille, his guitar (actually a range of black Gibson guitars). He backed off his road schedule only last year. Peerless even among fellow music icons, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, and won 15 Grammy Awards. One Direction has finally opened way up about Zayn Malik taking his beautiful voice and leaving the group several weeks ago. How did they feel when they first heard the news? One Direction Responds to Zayn Malik Departure “We were a little bit angry,” Liam Payne told James Corden on The Late Late Show, adding: “We were surprised, but I think we all knew the general vibe that Zayn was feeling. There were certain parts of this job that Zayn loved and certain parts of the job that he didn’t. “If you don’t like your job, you’ve got to follow your heart sometimes and go where you need to go. There’s no argument with that.” There does remain a mystery as to why Malik left, however. He said via statement that he just wants to be a “normal 22-year old” for awhile. But is he really recording a solo album? Was he fired for drug and alcohol use ?!? Louis Tomlinson, meanwhile, engaged in a public Twitter beef with Malik this month, slamming his former colleague as immature. Where do things stand now between the hunks? “I’ve never been very good at biting my tongue,” Tomlinson said. “It’s just one of those things. Twitter’s great for connecting with the fans but also if you feel like saying something you probably shouldn’t, it’s also good for that as well. “Or bad in this case.” He added that the group is in touch now with Malik and is on “good terms” with him.
