Bionic tour, which includes 20 North American dates, kicks off July 15 in Connecticut. By Jocelyn Vena Christina Aguilera Photo: MTV News Christina Aguilera may or may not be not herself when she hits the road this July. The singer, who releases her new album Bionic on June 8 , has announced a 20-date North American trek starting on July 15. The singer will be joined by British pop chanteuse Leona Lewis. Tickets go on sale May 21, and all fans who purchase tickets before June 4 will receive a download code for a digital copy the album on June 7, the day before its official release. Before Aguilera takes her act on the road, she’ll appear on the “Today” Show Summer Concert Series on June 8, and she’ll perform at the MTV Movie Awards on June 6. Aguilera recently spoke to MTV News about the tour, saying that she planned on taking the show all around the world. “It’ll be a world tour. We start in the U.S., then off to Europe, resulting in Asia/Australia, which is usually how they go for me,” she revealed. “It’ll probably take about a year to get through that cycle.” Without giving away too many details, she added, “It’ll be a fun, fun tour; again with the look and feel of Bionic .” Like the video for her recently released clip for “Not Myself Tonight,” Aguilera said there’s definitely a visual theme to the album. “I wanted to maintain and keep consistent with the look of the album packaging and book,” she said about the sexy video . “And I really wanted to keep all that in line, and so he really paid attention, and I think it’s really iconic and classic.”

If you thought you could get away from the wall-to-wall coverage of Betty White ‘s Saturday Night Live appearance, here’s some bad news: You can’t. As Seth Meyers tweeted yesterday, White and the SNL Lady All-Stars (Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Ana Gasteyer, Maya Rudolph and Rachel Dratch), were so funny that the show had enough good material to last for two hours. Ever the opportunist, NBC has released three of the skits that were cut during dress rehearsal onto the Internet. You’re welcome.

It’s a conductor’s dream, except that this choir never comes together in the same practice space. It’s a virtual choir, with performances captured entirely through YouTube . The finished product is visually and musically stunning, showing footage of the various singers swirling around a central video of conductor Whitacre. Even cooler, you can watch each individual singer’s performance on YouTube to see exactly how they fit together. Some of these people are absolutely amazing, as you can see from the collection of audition videos after the jump (along with a finished Virtual Choir video, of course). Just when you thought you had a handle on HBO’ s WWII miniseries The Pacific , along came Rami Malek to mess with your expectations. As the war-ravaged Merriell “Snafu” Shelton, Malek is haunting and morally ambiguous, with a Cajun drawl that’s creepy one moment and heartbreaking the next.
