Jasmine Waltz on Sex with David Arquette: Quick, Mediocre at Best

Once you get over the shock of anyone purposefully having sex with David Arquette, there’s only been one surprising thing about this actor sleeping with this cocktail waitress : That is took so long for the attention-loving Waltz to speak out about it. But that’s no longer the case The woman who has bedded Ryan Seacrest and Vinny Guadagnino tells the latest issue of Life & Style that she first met Arquette at Premiere nightclub on September 30. The actor showed back up two nights later, took Jasmine to a house party where the pair got wasted, walked her to the Hollywood home in which he grew up and “mentioned that he hadn’t slept with anyone since separating from Courteney.” What was it like for Waltz after she changed that? “It wasn’t bad sex, but it wasn’t emotional,” Waltz says. “It was quick and painless. Nothing exciting. When we were done, he just looked at me and said, ‘This is the first time I’ve felt like a man in a very long time.'” Awww, that’s sweet! Jasmine insists she made sure Arquette was truly separated before letting him inside her. She also says it happened more than once. “I definitely got the impression that Courteney had made the decision to separate,” Waltz added. “David did not seem like the one in control of the situation. Not at all.”

Source: Jake Gyllenhaal on "Cloud Nine" Over Taylor Swift, Planning Rendezvous in Paris

Reports indicate that Taylor Swift is more serious about her career than Jake Gyllenhaal. But the same can’t be said about the actor’s feelings regarding this young singer. According to Hollywood Life sources, Jake has dated since his split with Reese Witherspoon, but “no one has put a smile on his face like Taylor. He’s really on cloud nine.” Call them Swiftenhaal or Gyllenwift. Just don’t call Taylor and Jake a casual couple any longer. Following casual dates in NYC and California, things between Swiftenhaal will allegedly heat up this December, as insiders claim : “The two are planning to spend the holidays together. And Jake plans to meet Taylor in Paris at the beginning of the new year, where she’ll be performing.” How did these two even cross paths? Maggie Gyllenhaal supposedly met Swift at a charity event and thought she was a “sweet girl with a good head on her shoulders.” She told her brother the same. But might she have walked her sibling into a trap? Will Swift soon pen a revenge song titled “Dear Jake?” Unlikely, a source says. “He’s not like the other men Taylor has dated. Jake is no John Mayer. He’s a very sweet and sensitive guy. He treats women with respect.”

Matt LeBlanc Overcomes Being Matt LeBlanc By Playing Matt LeBlanc in Episodes

While Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer struggled to overcome “The Friends Curse” since fleeing Central Perk in 2004, Matt LeBlanc has battled an even worse affliction: “The Matt LeBlanc Curse.” Unlike his co-stars, LeBlanc tried to mine his Friends success into a spin-off that failed so dramatically, it has since prevented the actor’s casting in any project — even an “It Gets Better” PSA. (Because, let’s face it, LeBlanc’s career has only proved otherwise.) Now, the former Joey Tribbiani is going to extreme lengths to prove that he is anything but a dimwitted has-been…by playing a jaded has-been in Showtime’s Episodes .

Oksana Grigorieva Emails: Proof of Extortion Against Mel Gibson?

“Too much evidence, my dear.” These words, excerpted from Oksana Grigorieva emails sent to Mel Gibson just before their mediation in May, are a big part of what his lawyers believe prove attempted extortion took place between the actor and his estranged ex. Oksana sent the emails May 2, two weeks before she and Mel went into mediation which resulted in a $15 million package for Oksana and baby Lucia. Do Oksana Grigorieva’s emails reveal sinister intentions? In the email, Oksana Grigorieva accuses Mel and his family of leaking stories about their breakup, specifically ones that “claim you dumped me.” Mel’s lawyers believe the emails show Oksana as a manipulator, someone not fearful of Gibson at all, but merely scheming to extort his millions. Oksana writes, “Does your family think that my modesty and class could pass for stupidity?” She adds, “Do they think that I will let them carry on with ruining my reputation, which was unblemished before i ever layed eyes on you?” “The facts are stubborn things, information is power, you told me so yourself.” Oksana has accused Mel of assault. In a court declaration, he admits slapping her but says it was a one-time thing and done to protect Lucia. It seemed that in spite of their history, Oksana even wanted Mel back, writing, “Untill this morning I was still missing you so much and secretly wanted and hoped for us to be together again.” Clearly that didn’t work out . Oksana accuses Gibson’s wife, Robyn, and daughter, Hannah, of waging a “silent war” against her, complaining, “Are you a little boy, or are you a man? Why are you so easily influence by your mommy Robyn?” Ouch … burn . Oh, and she even references the Mel Gibson tapes . “As far as the tapes go, I only played one to my lawyer,” Oksana claims via email. “Becouse on march 15 Michelle proposed on ur behalf not a very generous gift for our daughter and there was nothing for me.” “My lawyers also told me that tom Hansen said i woudn get a penny and more importaunly, my lawyers warned me that ur laywers are capaple of false fabrication about me in press, i.e., an unfit mother, a prostitute etc. so you can have the baby and I get to go to my f…ing moth hole as u told me.” “Too much evidence, my dear.” Well … there you have it. While Gibson has some serious problems, and while it’s hard to say this “proves” extortion was committed, it’s looking more and more like Oksana is not the innocent victim she appears to be.

Johnny Knoxville Reportedly Ties The Knot

The ‘Jackass’ star weds girlfriend Naomi Nelson. By Mawuse Ziegbe Johnny Knoxville Photo: Amy Sussman/Getty Images Professional prankster Johnny Knoxville has reportedly tied the knot. According to UsMagazine.com the “Jackass 3-D” star wed his longtime girlfriend, Naomi Nelson, on Friday. Life & Style reports that Knoxville popped the question to Nelson just days ago, with a 2.5-carat engagement ring from Los Angeles’ Platt Boutique Jewelry. The nuptials follow the arrival of the couple’s first child together. Knoxville and Nelson welcomed son Rocko Akira Clapp last December. Knoxville, whose real name is Phillip John Clapp, also has a teenage daughter, Madison, from his marriage to ex Melanie Clapp. Despite his career of pulling off outrageous stunts, Knoxville and new wife have mostly maintained a low profile, and the actor has said Nelson keeps him calm. “I’m lucky enough to be with someone, and I am happy,” he told Knoxville.com. “I feel very lucky. I’m not out running around all the time. I don’t party as much as I used to. I’m not partying constantly and constantly battling myself. I’m with someone, and we are very, very happy.” Knoxville’s next move is decidedly more outlandish than making it legal with his ladyfriend. The actor appears in the latest installment of the prank-packed hit series, “Jackass 3-D,” which lands in theaters on October 15. Even though he and “Jackass” pals like Steve-O and Bam Margera have been staging elaborate shenanigans for years, Knoxville revealed they still shot tons of footage for the upcoming flick. “Man, we filmed so much stuff. So much great stuff got left out of the film because we just overshot,” Knoxville told MTV News earlier this month. He explained the cutting-room bits will be available on a DVD set to hit shelves by the holiday season. “That’ll be in ‘[Jackass] 3.5,’ coming out at Christmas.” Leave well-wishes for the couple below! ‘Wall Street 2’ Cheat Sheet: Everything You Need To Know

Put your money on our cheat sheet to give you lots of juicy details about ‘Money Never Sleeps.’ By Eric Ditzian Michael Douglas in “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” Photo: 20th Century Fox In the fall of 2008, a few weeks after Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy and Washington Mutual collapsed — and the tenor of the U.S. financial crisis turned from panicky to nearly apocalyptic — Fox gave the go-ahead for “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.” Hooray for capitalism! There’s always room for shareholders to profit from even the most dismal economic news. Two years later, with the country still shackled by high unemployment and out-of-control debt, “Wall Street 2” bullied its way into theaters Friday (September 24). The Oliver Stone-directed film arrives nearly 23 years after the Oscar-winning original. The first film also opened in the shadow of financial uncertainty, just a few months after the stock-market crash known as Black Monday. Now, as then, the timing is right for a story about greed. Michael Douglas returns as Wall Street mover-and-shaker Gordon Gekko, fresh off a jail sentence and determined, at least initially, to expose his industry’s borderline criminal excesses. Gekko is set, as well, on repairing his relationship with his daughter (Carey Mulligan), a quest that brings him into an alliance with a young trader named Jacob (Shia LaBeouf). Throughout the film, we get both MBA-level corporate discourse and you-abandoned-me familial hurt feelings. You needn’t know the first thing about a credit default swap, though, before you head to the cinema. MTV News has been betting big on this movie for years, and now we’re ready to collect — and share our profits with you: Enjoy our “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” cheat sheet. Returning to the “Street” Fox had been developing a “Wall Street” sequel since 2007, when the economy first began its downward spiral. A green light only came in October of ’08, amid those bankruptcies and bank failures. Allan Loeb (“21”) was tapped to pen the script, and Douglas was reportedly interested in reprising his iconic role. But in February, Stone told MTV News he had dropped out of the project. “I didn’t want to do another ‘Wall Street’ movie. I think everything I had to say came through,” he told us. “I’m just not interested because it’s so complex now. I don’t think people can understand security derivatives.” By April, however, Stone had changed his mind . He was said to be blown away by Loeb’s script and jumped at the chance to helm the sequel. It probably didn’t hurt, as well, that Douglas appeared likely to return and that LaBeouf was in negotiations to join up. Josh Brolin, Carey Mulligan , Susan Sarandon and Frank Langella eventually signed on as well. Getting Down to Business Shooting kicked off in fall 2009, and we got our first look at Douglas and LaBeouf on set in October: the elder statesman rocking a casual-Friday look, the young buck in some designer duds. Charlie Sheen, who starred in the original, agreed to appear in a cameo for the new flick . “He came in. It was fun for a day. It was good to see him again,” Douglas told us later. The trailer dropped in January, giving us a grizzled, post-jail Gekko, copious shots of the go-go-go Wall Street and the supposition that greed, once good, has become legal. The movie debuted in May at the Cannes Film Festival . Letting the Bulls Loose As the release date approached, we got an opportunity to chat with the cast in New York and at the Toronto International Film Festival. What convinced Stone to return for the sequel , he told us, was the chance to create “a completely new Gekko” and to dramatize an economic crisis he called “a heart attack, a real triple bypass to capitalism.” LaBeouf, meanwhile, was pulled in by the opportunity to work with Stone, whom he dubbed “the most dangerous filmmaker alive” in the 1980s and ’90s. Plus, the actor views Gekko as even more compelling than key characters in two of his other starring franchises: Optimus Prime of “Transformers” and Indiana Jones. “He’s got more bite, he’s more dangerous, he’s the most dangerous of the three,” LaBeouf said. “Also the most interesting, I think. There’s something in how tangible and visceral it is. Whereas the other films are fantasy films where the suspension of disbelief is necessary for you to get into the movie. This isn’t that. It’s a very tangible world, and you’re living in the midst of the twilight of American economic dominance.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Paul Giamatti on His TIFF Triumph Barney’s Version, Playing Drunk and the Politics of Karma

James Franco Talks ‘Blurring’ Acting And Reality In ‘127 Hours’

‘The way we approached the performance is authentic,’ he tells MTV News. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz James Franco and Danny Boyle Photo: MTV News Toward the end of the exhaustive Moab, Utah, shoot for “127 Hours,” James Franco found himself on the edge of a cliff. Portraying a real-life hiker forced to amputate part of his arm to escape a fallen boulder, Franco was in the midst of repelling down the steep face when he slipped and experienced the terrifying sensation of falling. He was rigged with safety lines, of course, but as the actor himself admitted to MTV News, “I was scared for a second.” The shot actually made it into the film. Again and again throughout the shoot, Franco and director Danny Boyle (“Slumdog Millionaire”) strove for such moments of authenticity. At another point in the shoot, Franco found himself struggling for 15 minutes to tie up a harness with just one hand. “I yelled out a couple times, ‘Eff!’ ” he said. “That was the character and me blurring at that moment. It really showed that the way we approached the performance is authentic on a real level, blurring the line of acting and experiencing.” The entire production was a challenge, but it’s one Boyle always wanted to take on and which, fresh off the Oscar-winning success of “Slumdog,” he was not going to pass up. “We had a small window in which to strike, when people really believe in you,” the director said. “I’d always been fascinated with this idea of trapping someone. In a medium that’s all about movement and change and constant vibration of images, I thought it would be wonderful to challenge that and make an action movie where the hero doesn’t move.” The majority of the film takes place within a tight, rocky crevice, when Franco is pinned in place by the boulder. Only the actor and a cameraman could fit in, and Boyle had to watch from above via a video link. They’d shoot very long takes, as Franco went through a variety of experiences, from desperation to macabre escape. “It wasn’t like we’d cut and ask props to rig a pulley while James relaxes,” Boyle said. “He had to rig it. He had to do everything.” Check out everything we’ve got on “127 Hours.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .
