Questionable Poster Day rolls on! Transformers: Dark of the Moon is the latest upcoming film to debut new marketing artwork on this historic Wednesday — though the good folks at Paramount must have missed that “questionable” part. This brand new IMAX poster featuring Optimus Prime looks all sorts of bad ass. Cue the Inception horns and click ahead to look.

Behold the Shirtless, Near Nipple-Free Glory of Ryan Reynolds’s Comic Book

The folks at Bluewater Productions are commemorating Ryan Reynolds’s ascent into worldwide prominence, domination, and glistening emerald costuming with a $3.99, 32-page comic book called Fame: Ryan Reynolds . In addition to honoring Reynolds’ status as a “hero to the fanboy community with his ability tell a joke, get the girl, and battle supervillians on screen,” it also honors his cartoonishly insane body. Enjoy the cover.

A Modest Proposal For Finally Fixing the Oscars

The film world awoke this morning to news that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences had reformulated its Best Picture Oscar rules for the second time in as many years, allowing for anywhere from five to 10 nominees depending on a film’s percentage of first-place votes. This is brilliant. It will also fail to fix what’s fundamentally wrong with the Oscars.

Listen to Werner Herzog Read Filthy Children’s Book Go the F**k to Sleep

Tuesday, Movieline brought you word about a special audio recording of Go the F**k to Sleep that Werner Herzog did for the New York Public Library to celebrate the release of Adam Mansbach’s new children’s book. Good news to report: a clip of the recording has surfaced online, and it’s as Herzog-ian as you would hope. “The windows are dark in the town child. The whales huddled down in the deep. I’ll read you one last book, if you swear you’ll go…” Well, you know. This is hilarious. Click through to watch.

J.J. Abrams Discounts Similarities Between Super 8 and Cloverfield Creatures

Even if you haven’t seen Super 8 , you probably know something about the third act creature thanks to spoilers from Paramount , Bruce Greenwood , and moviegoers who have loudly contested that the sci-fi thriller’s monster looks a lot like the one in the Abrams-produced film Cloverfield . Finally, J.J. Abrams has responded to this allegation, but — beware — his explanation includes, of course, more creature spoilers.

Has ‘Spoiler Culture’ Ruined Twist Endings For Good?

Take it away, Chuck Klosterman! “Are screenwriters now affected by ‘spoiler culture’ before they even begin the writing process? If you know a twist will be unavoidably revealed before the majority of people see the work itself, and if you concede that selling and marketing a film with a major secret will be more complicated for everyone involved … would you even try? Would you essentially stop yourself from trying to write a movie that’s structured like The Sixth Sense ?” [ Grantland ]

Talkback: Do You Think Stuntpeople Should Have An Oscar Category?

Earlier this year, Vin Diesel boldly told the Los Angeles Times that he “wouldn’t be surprised” if Fast Five garnered “Oscar talk” this award season. While the fifth Fast and Furious film won’t be winning any statuettes for its acting this lifetime (sorry, Vin, The Rock and Ludacris), it might have a legitimate shot at an Academy Award if the movie’s stunt coordinator Jack Gill convinces the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to add a Best Stunt category.

John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman Join Animated Romp Wreck-It Ralph

John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman are set to lend their voices to Wreck-It Ralph , Disney’s animated film about an old arcade game villain (a two-bit 8-bit?) trying to make good. The film will also feature Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch in supporting roles, which means we may have to modify our list of the 10 Best Celebrity Voiceovers fairly soon. In fact, I want to modify it now: George Sanders was incredible as Shere Khan in The Jungle Book and deserves a spot. There! [ Coming Soon ]
