It’s a parent’s worst nightmare. And, unfortunately, for actress Salma Hayek, the fear of someone kidnapping her children is all too real. Hayek obtained a restraining order against two crazed women who have allegedly been impersonating the actress. She believes the women’s motive is to enmesh themselves into her life so that they can get close to her. And worse, like something out of a movie, Salma believes they might attempt to kidnap her daughter and hold her for ransom! Her fear of kidnapping comes from an incident when one of the mentally disturbed women pretended to be Salma and made “a veiled threat regarding kidnapping and ransoming” her daughter. Hayek reported that an email from the women said, “I know where her daughter will be. How much is her life worth?” The women were ordered to stay a minimum of 100 yards away from Hayek, her husband, and her daughter. A court date is scheduled for next month to make the order permanent. Though the ordeal is dramatic, one wouldn’t guess that such drama is happening. Just two days ago, while playing it cool, Salma ate silk worms and deep fried frog on a Watch What Happens Live segment.

Salma Hayek: Two Crazed Women Threaten to Kidnap Her Daughter!!

Earlier today, Kelly Rutherford was ordered to bring her children to an emergency court hearing so that they could be returned their father, Daniel Giersch, in Monaco. Rutherford showed up, but didn’t bring the kids , which led a judge to inform her that she would face criminal charges if she continued in her refusal to comply with the court’s order. Lawyers for Giersch had already accused Rutherford of child abduction , so perhaps realizing that it’s hard to fight a custody battle from behind bars, she delivered her 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter to Giersch’s mother for transportation back to Europe. TMZ reports that the children are currently at the airport awaiting a flight back to Monaco, where they’ve lived with Giersch since 2012. The kids spent the past two months in LA with Rutherford for an extended visitation period. When their time together came to an end last week, however, the actress initially refused to surrender them to Giersch’s family. At first, it seemed as though she planned to fight to keep them in the US permanently. But with the threat of jail time looming and courts in both LA and Monaco determining that the kids belong in Monaco with Giersch, Rutherford wisely decided to give in. Rutherford will likely appeal the custody decision, but her recent act of disobedience is unlikely to help her chances.

Salma Hayek Refuses To Speak Donald Trump’s Name Via HuffingtonPost Salma Hayek treats Donald Trump the same way the wizarding world did with Lord Voldemort: as He Who Must Not Be Named. Hayek sat down with E! News and discussed Trump in light of racist comments he made in June when announcing his candidacy for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, calling Mexicans who come to the United States “rapists,” drug dealers and criminals. “I’m aware that he would say anything to attract attention and create publicity around him,” the actress, who is Mexican, said. “So, if something generates publicity I would never be surprised about anything he does. I’d be surprised if he did something courageous and meaningful that nobody found out about. This was not courageous and meaningful.” The one good thing to come of this, Hayek said, is that Trump’s words pulled back the curtain on the bigoted underbelly of America. “What is interesting about it is that thanks to that [and] all the things that he said — I don’t repeat and I don’t say his name because I don’t want to give him extra publicity — but beyond him,” she said, before continuing, “this concept of America being a place where there is no discrimination, and it’s not racist anymore, and we had the Civil War and the good people won, I think it’s beginning to show that discrimination and racism in this country is a bigger problem than we accept it is. At least he brought a light into a real problem.” We feel what she’s saying, because we think Trump is an azzhole too.
