This Racist Web Video Against Cali. Democrat “Janice Hahn” Should Be Condemned: The Gang Members She Hired Aren’t Even Black!! [Video]

Another point, an Alabama producer is behind the video and his twitter account and picture are below. The other few candidates he previously helped with youtube videos… all lost. “This ad is incredibly offensive and sexist to all women,” Hahn campaign manager Dave Jacobson told TPM. “The producer of this ad should be ashamed of himself and Craig Huey should be ashamed to have this kind of thing produced on his behalf.” Jacobson called on Huey to “come out and condemn this ad immediately.” In a statement EMILY’s List, which has endorsed Hahn, called the ad “the most vile, racist, sexist ad we have ever seen” and also called on Huey to condemn it. Huey’s campaign did not respond to a request for comment. Neither did the Los Angeles County GOP. California Republican Party spokesperson Mark Standriff distanced the party and Huey from the web ad. “The video in question is highly offensive and totally inappropriate,” he said “and has no connection whatsoever to the Huey campaign or the California Republican Party.” On his website, Ehlinger preemptively refuted charges that the ad is racist: Before you charge racism at the ad, consider her one line in the video: “It takes a different kind of person to speak the language.” By that she means, it takes black people to talk to black people. 2005 statistics from the LAPD reported that the vast majority of L.A.’s gang population is made up of predominately Latino gangs. Ryan J. Reilly contributed. Yeah, the gang member she helped… were all Latino. So, they are all as*-backwards with this messs.

Playboy Mansion Hot Tub Causes Bacterial Infections?

See original here:

Bacteria found in the hot tub at the legendary Playboy Mansion has been identified as the cause of an outbreak of legionella bacteria that affected a number of people that attended a fundraiser at the house. Several people became sick with respiratory illness after DomainFest’s February 1-3 conference which ended with a fundraiser at the Playboy mansion.  Health officials suspected legionellosis as the cause. A severe caseof legionellosis is also known as Legionnaires’ disease. Public health officials contacted 439 people who were in attendance.  Of those, 123 people reported fevers and at least one other symptom.  Sixty-nine of those people became sick on the same day. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health issued a statement regarding the outbreak: Though Legionella bacteria was identified in a water sample taken from the Playboy Mansion, this bacteria has not been determined as the source of the respiratory outbreak. Other potential causes under investigation include influenza, as three individuals who attended the conference tested later positive for the flu. However, the cause of the outbreak has not been conclusively determined at this time,” the statement said. “Investigations such as this one can take several months. Is anyone else surprised that there’s diseases floating around in the Playboy Mansion’s hot tub? Source: L.A. Bret Michales Files Lawsuit Against the Tony Awards

It’s one of the funniest videos on record. But, to Bret Michaels, what happened in June 2009 is no laughing matter. The rocker took to the Tony Awards’ stage two years ago, sang alongside the Rock of Ages cast – and then knocked himself silly against a piece of scenery. Relive the dangerous/unfortunate/hilarious incident below: Bret Michaels, Tony Awards Accident Yesterday, Michaels filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court against Tony Award Productions, CBS and others for unspecified damages, claiming producers failed to instruct him how to properly exit the stage following this performance. Bret was treated for a broken nose and cut lip at the scene, and the suit says his brain injury months later was due to this mishap. Reads the document: “One of the most common causes of this type of hemorrhage is head trauma – exactly like the one Michaels suffered at the hands of the Tony Awards.”

Elizabeth Taylor, Legendary Actress, Dead At 79

Oscar winner was one of the screen’s great beauties and object of tabloid fascination. By Gil Kaufman Elizabeth Taylor in 1957 Photo: Hulton Archive/ Getty Images One of Hollywood’s most legendary beauties, Elizabeth Taylor, died on Wednesday (March 23) at the age of 79 after spending two months in a Los Angeles hospital for treatment of congestive heart failure. One of the brightest stars in the history of the American movie business, Taylor starred in a string of hit movies in the 1950s and 60s, including “Giant,” “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” and “Cleopatra,” while becoming an international sex symbol and object of tabloid fascination for her string of love affairs with leading men. In addition to being a fashion icon, perfume mogul and movie legend, later in life Taylor also became one of the leading advocates for victims of AIDS, raising millions for research and treatment of the disease in the wake of the 1985 death of her good friend the actor Rock Hudson, who died from the illness. According to reports, Taylor died in the early morning on Wednesday surrounded by her four children — Michael Wilding, Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd and Maria Burton — at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. “My mother was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest with great passion, humor and love,” said Michael Wilding in a statement read on “Good Morning America.” “Though her loss is devastating to those of us who held her so close and so dear, we will always be inspired by her enduring contributions to our world.” Born Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor in London, England, on February 27, 1932, to American parents, Taylor left England with her family on the eve of World War II and relocated to Los Angeles. Already turning heads for her beauty, Taylor took a screen test as a child and was cast in her first film at age 10, 1942’s “There’s One Born Every Minute.” She followed with movies such as “Lassie Come Home,” “Jane Eyre” and 1944’s hit film “National Velvet.” She continued working steadily throughout the late 1940s and ’50s, emerging as one of the world’s great beauties thanks to her piercing violet-colored eyes and alluring come-hither gaze. Playing opposite James Dean in 1956’s “Giant,” Taylor emerged as a star in her own right, and she was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in 1957’s “Raintree County.” She was nominated again the next year for “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” losing again, but earned yet another nomination in 1959 for “Suddenly, Last Summer.” After three straight losses, Taylor finally got her award in 1960 for her peerless performance in “Butterfield 8,” in which she played Gloria Wandrous, a call girl who gets entangled with a married man. One of her most famous films was the 1963 epic “Cleopatra,” one of the most expensive movies of all time when it was filmed. She met her future husband Richard Burton on the set and the two began a torrid affair that scandalized Hollywood because of Burton’s married status. Burton would later become her fifth (and sixth) husband after the couple divorced in 1974 after 10 years of marriage and then remarried in 1975 only to divorce again the next year. She won a second Oscar in 1966 for her role in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” That would mark the end of her star status in Hollywood. Although she continued to sporadically make movie and TV appearances in the 1970s and ’80s, Taylor would never again reach such pinnacles of fame. The actress, who married eight times in total and became a confidant of late singer Michael Jackson, supporting him during his child molestation cases in the late 1990s and early 2000s, suffered a brain tumor in 1997 and would continue to battle a variety of ailments throughout the next decade and a half. Chris Brown Will Still Appear On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

ABC reportedly won’t press charges against the singer after his backstage tantrum at ‘Good Morning America’ studios. By Jocelyn Vena Chris Brown Photo: Jason Kempin/ WireImage Despite Chris Brown’s backstage outburst at the “Good Morning America” studios on Tuesday after host Robin Roberts questioned him about his life following his 2009 assault of Rihanna, the singer still will appear on another ABC show next week. A network rep confirmed to EW.com that Brown’s scheduled performance on “Dancing With The Stars” next Tuesday will go on as planned. Meanwhile, TMZ reports that ABC has no plans to press charges against the singer over the tantrum. The incident left many wondering if Brown had violated his probation in some way. E! News reported that plainclothes detectives arrived on the scene shortly after the outburst. TMZ pointed out that if New York prosecutors don’t press charges, then the singer wouldn’t have violated his probation and should avoid any further trouble with the law. MTV News contacted the Los Angeles County Probation Department about the matter, but they said they “were unable to comment.” Shortly after his reported meltdown, Brown was spotted playing basketball at New York’s West 4th Street Courts. In photos posted online, the singer appeared in good spirits, smiling as he played out in the open. E! News further reported that his post-“GMA” schedule included a stop at the Opera gallery, where he appeared “really happy and in a great mood.” An release party held in honor of Brown’s F.A.M.E. album at Webster Hall on Tuesday night also went on as scheduled, MTV News confirms from sources. Video posted online shows the embattled singer performing at the event. A source told People.com that Brown has “been trying to move on from his past and focus on his music, and he’s finally putting out an album. Why can’t we focus on that? He makes great music and he loves his fans. He’s a good kid.” What are your feelings about the Brown incident? Should he be allowed to perform on “Dancing With the Stars”? Howard Stern Defends Kim Kardashian Against "Scumbag" Prince

Howard Stern loves women with large breasts and little personality, so it should come as no surprise that he’s coming to the defense of Kim Kardashian. Earlier this week, the reality star was called on stage by Prince during a concert at Madison Square Garden. She proceeded to freeze , stand around like a mannequin and get dismissed from the spotlight. But Stern, a fan of Prince as an artist, blames the musician for this embarrassing incident. Kim Kardashian Freezes at Prince Concert “Apparently she’s supposed to dance like a stripper for him and she just stood there not knowing what to do,” Stern said on his radio show yesterday. “He throws her off the stage because she can’t read f–king Prince’s mind. He’s a bulls–t artist. I’m done with him.” Concluding by labeling Prince as a “scumbag,” Stern said “he seems to be an arrogant asshole lately.” That may be true, but let’s remember: Courteney Cox has a career because Bruce Springstein summoned her to the stage during a performance of “Dancing in the Dark.” Kim could have shown the world a spontaneous, fun-loving side if she had responded in similar fashion to this sitcom star. Instead, treating the opportunity like a professional athlete, she blew it.

Source: Oksana Grigorieva Extortion Charge "Unlikely" in Mel Gibson Case

The extortion investigation of Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva drags on, with the case still not turned over to the L.A. District Attorney. This has left prosecutors “frustrated” as they look to move forward with the domestic violence case against Mel and the extortion case against Oksana. Until files are turned over, the D.A. can’t file charges or drop the case. While the investigation was said to be “substantially done” last week, prosecutors now don’t think they will receive the case until next week, if that. “The amount of hours the Sheriff’s Department spent investigating Oksana is mind boggling,” said one source. As is the fact that Mel ever dated her . Sheriff’s officials have spent months investigating claims that she, or someone close to her, tried to trade her silence in exchange for Gibson’s cash. The two are also in a bitter custody dispute over one-year-old Lucia. “The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is stalling in turning over the Oksana case to the D.A.,” said a source with knowledge of the case. “It literally started out as probe into claims of extortion and now has evolved into them going over the testimony from the family law case.” “Prosecutors are getting very frustrated that they haven’t officially turned it over and it’s delaying a decision whether to charge Mel Gibson.” One theory: “It’s almost as if the cops are waiting for Oksana to commit a crime to bolster their findings, which so far, are very anemic.” “It’s unlikely any charges will be filed against Oksana Grigorieva .” Grigorieva has claimed Gibson punched her in the head at his Malibu home on January 6 if last year, while she held their then-infant daughter. In Mel’s sworn declaration, dated June 23, he admitted to slapping his ex across the face because she was hysterical and he feared for Lucia. He denies he punched her then or any other time. It’s unclear if Mel will be charged, and what role, if any, Kristian Herzog will play in whether or not authorities decide to pursue either case.

Michael Jackson Doctor Pleads Not Guilty To Involuntary Manslaughter

Conrad Murray’s trial slated to start March 28. By Gil Kaufman Dr. Conrad Murray appears in court on Tuesday in Los Angeles, California Photo: Irfan Khan-Pool/ Getty Images Michael Jackson’s former personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray entered a plea of not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter in the June 2009 death of the pop star at his arraignment on Tuesday morning (January 25). According to the Los Angeles Times, when asked by judge Michael Pastor how he pleaded to the charge, Murray said, “Your honor, I am an innocent man.” When Pastor interrupted and asked Murray what his plea was, the cardiologist said, “Therefore, I plead not guilty.” The brief hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court ended with Pastor setting a March 28 date for the start of a trial in the case. Murray faces a maximum of four years in prison if convicted, and the Times noted that he surprised the judge by invoking his right to a speedy trial, which meant the case would have to begin by late March. Pastor noted the rarity of a defendant asking to have a speedy trial, then set jury selection for the week of March 28 and said he was inclined to allow television coverage of the trial that the defense expects will last two months. Lawyers for Murray have maintained his innocence all along, saying he did not do anything that “should have” caused the 50-year-old pop icon’s death. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office determined that Jackson died of an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol mixed with a cocktail of other sedatives. Murray has admitted to administering propofol to Jackson in the hours before the singer’s death, but the defense appears to be gearing up to claim that it was Jackson who administered the final, fatal dose of the drug after he woke in a panic from a fitful night of sleep. During a preliminary hearing earlier this month to determine if there was enough evidence to hold Murray over for trial, the physician’s attorneys said that there was evidence Jackson injected or drank a fatal amount of the drug when the doctor was not looking.
