Lindsay Lohan: PRAISED By Judge in Court!

There’s a first time for everything. Lindsay Lohan not only passed muster at her probation hearing today, she did so with flying colors, earning praise from the judge who has reamed her out in the past. A very surprised Judge Stephanie Sautner began by saying at her hearing today, “Miss Lohan, you have actually done your work.” That she has, and then some … The judge noted that Lindsay completed her community service early and even went to an extra therapy session – five instead of the mandated four – since last time. Sautner said the Los Angeles County morgue was pleased by the work Lindsay has done there over the past month, or “at least as pleased as a morgue can be.” Her supervisor at the morgue has said he has been blown away, in fact, calling her work “stellar,” and saying she’s “a delight to work with and hard working.” Lohan gets props for turning it around, but so do Sautner and her attorney Shawn Holley, who set up a rigid structure – something LL’s parents never provided. Score one for the legal system … for once. And for the guy who hacked the Lindsay Lohan Playboy pictures . Thanks to him, the issue comes out this week! [Photo: Pacific Coast News]

Michael Jackson Wasn’t Killed By Doctor’s Propofol Dose, Expert Says

‘I don’t believe it was a contributing factor,’ Dr. Paul White testifies. By Gil Kaufman Dr. Conrad Murray Photo: Pool/ Getty Images Testimony from the final defense witness resumed Monday (October 31) in the involuntary manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson ‘s former doctor, Conrad Murray. Once again, jurors heard from Dr. Paul White , an expert on the surgical anesthetic propofol, who tried to convince the court last week that Jackson had injected himself with a fatal dose of the drug while Murray was absent. As he did Friday, White also offered that Murray’s conduct was unusual and broke protocol but didn’t rise to the level of involuntary manslaughter. The Witness

Tone-Loc Pleads No Contest To Domestic-Violence Charge

‘Wild Thing’ MC, also charged with possession of an assault weapon, sentenced to one day in county jail and three years of probation. By Gil Kaufman Tone-Loc Photo: Todd Williamson/ Getty Images Three months after his arrest on weapons and domestic-violence charges, “Wild Thing” rapper Tone-Loc (born Anthony Smith) pleaded no contest to one count of possession of an assault weapon (a Colt AR-15 Sporter) and one count of corporal injury to his child’s mother. The 45-year-old Los Angeles MC, best known for late-’80s hits such as “Funky Cold Medina,” was arrested June 18 on suspicion of felony domestic violence following an alleged physical altercation with the mother of one of his children. Police did not reveal the name of the alleged victim, and Loc was released on $50,000 bail after three hours in jail. According to a release from the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office, Loc was sentenced to one day in county jail, three years of formal probation, 30 days of community service and 52 weeks of anger-management counseling by Burbank Superior Court Judge Patrick Hegarty. The D.A.’s office specified that the firearm was not used in the domestic assault, but that the investigation found the rapper in possession of an unregistered assault weapon. The rapper, who has dabbled in acting over the years, has recently become the subject of controversy thanks to his selection as the entertainment for Syracuse University’s upcoming Midnight Madness basketball celebration. The event, which will take place October 14, is intended to get students excited about the upcoming season. But one Yahoo! sports writer complained that the Loc selection was a poor replacement for other potential headliners such as New York-bred heavyweights Jay-Z or Nicki Minaj. Related Artists Tone-Loc

Russell Armstrong Coroner Report: No Drugs in System

With an autopsy already having confirmed that Russell Armstrong died by hanging, Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter added to that report today by providing the results of toxicology tests run on the late reality star. And he confirms that no drugs or alcohol were in Russell’s system at the time of his death. The body of Taylor Armstrong’s husband, from whom she had filed for divorce in July, was discovered hanging from an apartment ceiling on August 15. Despite no evidence to back up their claim, family members now apparently believe Russell was murdered (in relation to his ongoing financial struggles) and are considering the hiring of a private investigator. Family of Russell Armstrong To Open Murder Investigation

Despite a ruling by the Los Angeles County Coroner that Russell Armstrong died via suicide by hanging, the family of this late reality star reportedly believes he was murdered.
