Angelina Jolie on Her Wild Child Past: "I’m Still a Bad Girl"

If you weren’t already jealous of Brad Pitt and his free (presumably) lifetime pass to Angelina Jolie naked, then you’re about to be. In a new interview with 60 Minutes about her directorial debut, The Land of Blood and Honey , the reporter asked Angie about her days as the ’90’s most skinfamous blood-drinking, model-banging, brother-kissing wild child: “I went through heavy darker times and I survived them. I didn’t die young, so I’m very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn’t survive certain things,” she said, alluding to something a notch above knife play (she once gleefully told reporters that she and Billy Bob Thornton kept a knife in their bedroom for vampiric kicks). Angelina declined to elaborate on what exactly put her life in danger back in the day, but she did say that the tiger hasn’t totally been tamed: “You think of those too many times where you came close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too far,” she mused. “I’m still a bad girl. I still have that side of me…It’s just in its place now…it belongs to Brad. Or…our adventures.” We probably shouldn’t be surprised- Angelina was dolled up in a dominatrix outfit when she bagged Brad on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), after all. Watch Charlize Theron Become Enraged in Young Adult Red Band Spot

Charlize Theron said recently that she took a four-year break from acting to work with her production company, so it’s interesting to consider what about Young Adult (besides the Oscar-friendly duo of Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody) would drag her back into the craft. Here’s an idea: She gets to be profane, uncompromising, and really, really pissed off. In this red-band spot for the new film (out December 9), Theron loses her shit with Elizabeth Reaser, who plays her ex-beau’s (Patrick Wilson) new wife. Yikes.

Why Roger Ebert Sits in the Back Row

“‘I’ve noticed that the publicists have started to sit behind me,” [Gene Siskel] explained. ‘I think they’re supposed to spy on my reactions and report back to the studios.’ I doubted this was true, but now I became aware of Siskel sitting behind me, possibly to spy on my reactions. So I moved to the back row to outwit the son of a bitch. I picked the end of the row nearest the door, so I could sneak out to the men’s room without calling undue attention to myself. Most people have bladders the size of oil drums, but I usually have to pee at least once during a movie. A few of my colleagues share this need, and I am sympathetic while watching them bend over and make a Groucho Marx run in front of the screen in the futile hope that no one will notice them.” You relate, right? Eddie Redmayne on My Week With Marilyn and the Quest For the Right Role

He’s won a Tony Award (for Red ) and held his own onscreen opposite everyone from Angelina Jolie and Matt Damon ( The Good Shepherd ) to Julianne Moore ( Savage Grace ) to Cate Blanchett ( Elizabeth: The Golden Age ). But there’s something about Eddie Redmayne’s role in My Week With Marilyn — as Colin Clark, a glorified film-set gofer mediating the relationship between Marilyn Monroe (Michelle Williams) and her Prince and the Showgirl co-star and director Laurence Olivier (Kenneth Branagh) — that hints at just the right screen role at just the right time.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: Kandi Burruss’ Birthday Blues

The Real Housewives of Atlanta had another party this week, this time for Kandi’s 35th birthday. Unfortunately, a surprise guest upsets Momma and THG is here to take you through all the drama in our +/- recap! First we get to recap last week’s drama when Peter and Apollo nearly came to blows at Kim’s baby shower . Kim’s ticked and rightfully so. Next time she’ll remember to “keep the ex-cons and a$$holes off the guest list.” But Phaedra steps up and earns a big Plus 10 showing up to Kim’s with a gift basket and an apology. She may not have been able to stop the men at the time but at least she did the right thing coming forward and saying she was sorry. Neither Cynthia or Peter bothered. Heck, they were five hours late and didn’t even send a gift. Minus 15 because that’s just beyond rude. Speaking of Cynthia, try as she might to mend fences they just seem to burn. She calls her sister over to talk to Peter about the incident at her wedding a year ago. Who could have guessed this wouldn’t go well? Minus 10 . You can’t force people to make up and nothing got accomplished here except for dredging up bad memories that won’t soon be forgotten. Later, Cynthia and her sister argue about Peter’s new bushiness venture. Unfortunately, Cynthia doesn’t know her sister is right. Bar One is in financial trouble before it’s even begun and Peter’s going to look to his wife to bail him out. Minus 9 because that’s just going to widen the divide between Cynthia, Peter and her family. Kim’s getting prepared for the big event. No, not another party. She talks to Phaedra about what it was like when she had her son. Phaedra says she had an epidural, morphine and was “crazy as a vampire in sunlight.” Plus 5 for being honest but let’s hope Kim has an easier time. Having had only girls, Kim’s concerned about having a boy and takes some lessons on diapering a circumcised baby. She’s nervous about what to do with a penis. Plus 7 to Kroy who already seems to be a pro with the diaper detail.

Angelina Jolie on 60 Minutes: Still a Bad Girl!

She’s been called “the most beautiful woman in the world,” and has often been a magnet for controversy, but Angelina Jolie remains at the top of her craft. Restless in her role as a movie star, the 36-year-old has turned to directing with a film she wrote about the Bosnian War, In the Land of Blood and Honey . In a recent interview airing last night, Angelina spoke to 60 Minutes ‘ Bob Simon about her career, her family, and the “darker times” she’s put behind her: Angelina Jolie 60 Minutes Interview “I didn’t know it was going to be so sensitive,” she said of her directorial debut, which details a love story between a Muslim woman and a Serbian jailer. She also talks about her dream of being a funeral director (seriously), but the obligatory soundbite that will get the most people talking came a bit later. Discussing her many humanitarian efforts, she admitted that her “dark side” has not fully receded. It’s just dormant. “I’m still a bad girl,” the star says. “I still have that side of me. It’s just, it’s in its place now. It belongs to Brad. Or it belongs to our adventures.” Read into that however you like. Do you like Angelina Jolie?

(Sk)interest Spikes in Natalie Wood as Police (Re)Investigate Her Death [PICS]

The top five most-searched celebs at Mr. Skin are usually a pretty predictable lot- a couple of marquee stars ( Angelina Jolie , Jennifer Aniston ), a couple of evergreen favorites ( Jennifer Connelly , Alyssa Milano ), and one non-nude but sexy starlet thrown in for good measure ( Mila Kunis , Kristen Stewart ). That’s not to say these actresses aren’t hot- they’re the very finest in the business- but sometimes we wish a beloved, but lesser known, star would get her day in the sun. Recently the name Natalie Wood has been dominating the headlines after the LA County Sheriff’s Department announced they were re-opening the case of Natalie’s death, 30 years after officially declaring it an accident. We’ve seen an accompanying surge in (sk)interest in the star, who is currently #4 and rising on Mr. Skin’s list of popular celebrities despite only one nude role- the swingin’ flick Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice (1969). We’ve always been fond of this good girl who was wild at heart, and while the circumstances may be tragic, the sight of this brunette sex kitten, who was tragically cut down at the young age of 43, will always be sweet. Angelina Jolie on 60 Minutes: I’m Lucky to Be Alive

Angelina Jolie was not always a generous humanitarian with six children and committed, gorgeous life partner. She once wore a vial of blood around her neck and faced some serious struggles. On this Sunday’s 60 Minutes , the actress takes viewers back to that dangerous time in her life. “I went through heavy darker times and I survived them,” the Oscar winner says. “I didn’t die young, so I’m very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn’t survive certain things.” Jolie added she’d prefer not to go into detail about these things, but: “I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst – and for many reasons I shouldn’t be here.” She can still be a “bad girl,” Jolie admits. But only one person really sees it. “I still have that side of me… It’s just in its place now… it belongs to Brad… [to] our adventures.”
