Justin Bieber’s Live MTV Special: What You Didn’t See!

MTV News takes you behind-the-screams of ‘Bieber Live.’ By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber sits with fans during “Bieber Live” Photo: MTV News NEW YORK — If you weren’t a teenage girl during the “Total Request Live” era of the late ’90s and early 2000s, watching Justin Bieber take over MTV’s famed Times Square studio Tuesday night for “Bieber Live” was definitely a lesson in what that era was all about. “TRL” loaded girls into a room to get them up-close-and-personal with their teen dreams, and “Bieber Live” did that and then some for 100 lucky Beliebers. Deafening screams filled the room from the moment the audience was loaded into the studio. But when Bieber walked in, well, that was a different story. The screams were heightened to (or perhaps surpassed) levels that haven’t been heard since the days of Backstreet and Britney. Justin kicked off the show with a performance of “Die in Your Arms” from his brand-new release, Believe. As fans clapped and sang along to the acoustic performance, the excitement in the room was palpable. And things got swagged out to the next level when Bieber dropped the mic at the end of the stripped-down performance, much to the delight of his devotees in the room. It was so loud in the room that the audience couldn’t even hear Bieber talking during the show. After the first act wrapped up, the 18-year-old got a pep talk from his manager, Scooter Braun, while his faithful fans looked on. But the commercial break wasn’t all business: Bieber also gave high-fives to fans and joked around with them as well. When the show came back, Bieber turned on the charm once more, even partaking in a friendly game of “2 Truths and a Lie,” during which lucky fans got to stand next to him and try and prove their Bieber knowledge. Yes, they got to stand next to him (and MTV News’ very own Sway Calloway, which we’re sure they were equally enthused by). During the next commercial break, Bieber gave more high-fives to everyone before stepping away from the set for a minute and taking a little break. For the next act, the room was silent as the singer talked all about his music. Looking around at the crowd, you could see girls silently crying and screaming on the inside, just completely overwhelmed by the fact that they were feet away from their idol. Sway and Bieber chatted for a second and had a bit of a man-to-man before the last segment of the show, and Bieber even showed off his smooth moves as he danced around for a bit and the cameras started rolling one last time. As the show wrapped up, Bieber hung around long enough to spend some time with his fans, who traveled from far and wide to attend the show. He took pictures and made conversation, proving that Bieber truly understands what keeps him on top. Stick with MTV News all week as we roll out more from our exclusive “Bieber Live” interview! John Waters & Provincetown Film Festival Fete Roger Corman

The Provincetown International Film Festival feted Roger Corman over the weekend with John Waters taking to the stage in a laugh-filled interview before a packed house in the eccentric enclave’s town hall. The maverick producer/director/actor offered up highlights from his long career and offered up a litany of tales from his years the low budget B-movie throne. While distributors consistently have spats with the MPAA for getting a “harsh” rating, Roger Corman recalled a time when he went back to the MPAA to ask for a “harsher” rating. “Eight year-olds” don’t want to see a G-rated film,” John Waters observes… Roger Corman received the festival’s 2012 Filmmaker on the Edge Award, while actress Parker Posey received the Excellence in Acting Award and Kirby Dick took the event’s Faith Hubley Career Achievement Award. Dick’s latest, The Invisible War caught a good amount of buzz at the festival with a number of insiders already predicting the title will get an Oscar nomination. But the weekend was owned by Corman. Don’t Worry, Pervs, HBO’s Got Your Back [PIC]

Mr. Skin’s always saying that when it comes to nudity, premium cable is where it’s at. We love the boob tube because it’s not afraid of skin, so it’s nice to know that TV execs love us right back. Party Down creator Dan Etheridge asserted in an oral history last year that Starz pushed them to “explore premium content” (i.e., nudity) on the show, and in a new interview Neil Marshall , who directed Game of Thrones ‘ climactic Season 2 ” Blackwater ” episode, confirms that HBO execs also have boobs on the brain. As Marshall tells the Empire Film Podcast : ” It was pretty surreal. I’d not done anything like that in my films before. But the weirdest part was when you have one of the exec producers leaning over your shoulder, going, “You can go full frontal, you know. This is television, you can do whatever you want! And do it! I urge you to do it.” So I was like, “Okay, well, if you— you’re the boss. ” Marshall goes on to say, “This particular exec took me to one side and said, ‘Look, I represent the pervert side of the audience, okay? Everybody else is the serious drama side— I represent the perv side of the audience, and I’m saying I want full frontal nudity in this scene.’ So you go ahead and do it.” So if you enjoyed porn star Sahara Knite ‘s full-frontal scene in the “Blackwater” episode, you have HBO’s CPO (Chief Pervert Officer) to thank. And oh, how very grateful we are. Go on, make HBO proud- check out more nude HD pics and clips of Sahara Knite , Esme Bianco , Natalie Dormer and more on Game of Thrones right here on MrSkin.com!

Fat Mila Kunis Gets Heckled of the Day

Unfortunately…I saw the first 5 minutes of the MTV Movie Awards…that were as interesting as an hour long commercial for every movie made last year targeted at 16 year olds could be. Russell Brand wasn’t funny….if anything he was annoying and people in the audience…even the people paid to be in the audience didn’t even laugh as his miserable jokes… The highlight of the first 5 minutes of the MTV Movie awards….were when Mila Kunis walked out, someone yelled at her, probably that she looks fucking fat as shit, all bloated as fuck….only to have Marky Mark and the funky bunch, who thinks he is a tough guy cuz he trains for shitty movies where he plays a boxer….to step up and threaten him….in what was not even dramatic enough to be interesting, unless you are like me, and wish you had he opportunity to heckle Mila Kunis…ideally with my genitals and her mouth…cuz fat or not…I’d still celebrate National Donut Day, 3 days late, only clit.

One Direction Keep Fans Screaming All Night On Tour

U.K. pop sensations hit New Jersey’s IZOD Center for a sell-out show on Friday packed with hits and rocking covers. By Sarah Brotherton One Direction perform in East Rutherford, NJ Photo: Uptin Saiidi/MTV News EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey — Maybe you’ve heard their songs on the radio or caught their TV performances on the “Today” show or “Saturday Night Live” , but nothing quite captures the success of One Direction like the screams. On Friday night, thousands of fans from across the tri-state area hit the IZOD Center, filling the 19,000-capacity arena for the U.K. pop sensation’s latest stop on their headlining Stateside tour. They were there to experience a new wave of a British Invasion, and they weren’t disappointed. Even before the show started, there was an excitement and energy in the air as Directioners — young and old alike — rushed into the building wearing homemade T-shirts, carrying posters and sporting body paint declaring their love for their favorite 1D members, be it Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson or Harry Styles. After two opening acts and a few warm-up songs, including Busta Rhymes and RUN DMC classics, One Direction finally hit the stage as the crowd jumped to its feet. Opening with ” Na Na Na,” the boys — dressed in the matching theme of red, white and blue, but each with their own signature touch — hit the harmonies hard. The concert followed a seasonal theme with corresponding video and costumes to match. A few songs in, Harry told the sell-out crowd, “I think this is our “biggest show” as a band!” which sent fans screaming all over again. Veering from their chart-topping debut album, Up All Night, each 1D member took a shot at a solo cover of some of their favorite songs, including the Black Eyed Peas’ “I Got a Feeling” and the Gym Class Heroes hit “Stereo Hearts.” The boys then sat on stools as they serenaded fans with “Moments.” Cell phone lights took the place of lighters as the audience sang every word of the ballad. After a quick change into the next outfit (and the next season), 1D proceeded with some of their more popular hits, including “More Than This” and the album’s title track, “Up All Night.” The set soon moved onto the live-tweeting portion of the show, where fans tweeted questions from the audience to their favorite bandmember. Then Liam showed off some beat-boxing skills and Harry attempted to do the worm before the guys were back at it with another cover, this time the hit Kings of Leon song “Use Somebody.” To end the night, 1D gave a shout-out to their impressive backing band and closed with singles “One Thing” and, of course, their #1 hit “What Makes You Beautiful.” But a perfect evening of hearty pop wouldn’t be complete without an encore! So the boys returned to perform “I Want” to the delight of their devoted fans. If you missed the 1D performance on Friday, fear not Directioners, a full list of U.S. tour dates is available on their official website . Full Set List : 1. “Na Na Na” 2. “Stand Up” 3. “I Wish” 4. “I Got a Feeling”; “Stereo Hearts”; “Valerie”; “Torn” 5. “Moments” 6. “Gotta Be You” 7. “More Than This” 8. “Up All night” 9. “Tell Me a Lie” 10. “Everything About You” 11. “Use Somebody” 12. “One Thing” 13. “Save You Tonight” 14. “What Makes You Beautiful” 15: “I Want” (Encore) Are you going to check out 1D on tour?
