New Photos Show The First Look At The Avengers Set

The question from yesterday still stands did we talk about before superhero movie speculation? Today we’ve got secret photos taken from the New Mexico set of The Avengers, and fortunately they’re a little more interesting than a grainy puddle of green. It looks like Avenger business is also taking them to India (I suppose?), but zoom as I might, I don’t see any Easter egg inside references for fans (No van Dyne fashion outlets? No Greer Nelson animal safaris? For shame!) Click to enlarge and see if you can puzzle out why the Avengers might be in India. [ Super Hero Hype ]

Chris Hemsworth and Co. on Avengers Ego-Clashing and Thor Sequel Plans

With Thor poised to kick-off the next chapter in Marvel’s superhero empire this week, the film’s stars and creatives found themselves looking to the future at a press conference Sunday in Los Angeles. Though actors Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston were loathe to drop details on the currently-filming Avengers , they gave a teaser of what to expect when their godly alter egos collide with human superheroes like Iron Man and Hulk in the Joss Whedon-helmed 2012 pic.

Hulk Smash!…In Polka-Dotted Motion Capture Suit

Mark Ruffalo is an exciting and nuanced actor, capable of plumbing the depths of a character with the smallest of gestures, from a sardonically lifted eyebrow to a barely perceptible shrug. And now thanks to the magic of motion-capture suits we can see every little picayune twitch when Ruffalo plays the Hulk in the upcoming Avengers movie.

Jersey Shore Fresh-to-Death Report Card: Grades N’ Grenades

After last week’s inaugural Fresh-to-Death Report Card, I realized something about Jersey Shore : It is unfair to rank the Guidos. You can’t place Snooki’s talking-Chicken-McNugget antics ahead of Pauly D’s ones-and-twos-mixing-thereupon. It’s not right. This week we’re assigning marks based on the Guido Credos of GTL, BPB, IFF (new this episode), and dramatic excellence. Who gets an A? An F? Grades are posted after the break.
