In an interview with Black Enterprise President Barack Obama directly addressed criticism over his perceived lack of involvement in the African-American community. Peep how he handled it below: How do you respond to criticism that your administration hasn’t done enough to support black businesses? My general view has been consistent throughout, which is that I want all businesses to succeed. I want all Americans to have opportunity. I’m not the president of black America. I’m the president of the United States of America, but the programs that we have put in place have been directed at those folks who are least able to get financing through conventional means, who have been in the past locked out of opportunities that were available to everybody. So, I’ll put my track record up against anybody in terms of us putting in place broad-based programs that ultimately had a huge benefit for African American businesses. We think he handled the question well — any other answer might have opened the door for all kinds of bs from right wing conservatives. Of course it’s likely that known Obama haters like Tavis Smiley and Cornel West will jump all over this one — just cuz he wouldn’t rather be at a New Black Panther rally or something like they act like he should want to be. Ted Nugent? Speaking in hyperbole?? NEVER…smh Musician Ted Nugent Continues To Make Negative Remarks About President Obama Musician Ted Nugent has added a fresh chord to his harmony of negative comments against President Barack Obama. In an interview with the New Times Broward-Palm Beach, Nugent was asked what rock bands would represent Obama and presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney. “Out and out politicians are anathema to rock-n-roll, so I hesitate to attempt to connect the two,” he replied. “But on important issues, I am saddened to admit that Obama represents everything bad about humanity and Romney pretty much all that is good. It is really that stark.” Nugent’s disdain for Obama entered the public sphere in mid-April. At a National Rifle Association convention in St. Louis, he blasted the president’s administration as “vile,” “evil” and “America-hating.” “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year,” Nugent added. Those comments raised the eyebrows of law enforcement officials, prompting the U.S. Secret Service to investigate his remarks. Both sides convened, with Nugent describing the meeting as a “good, solid, professional, gathering.” “The Secret Service interview of Ted Nugent has been completed,” agency spokesman Brian Leary told Reuters on April 20. “The issue has been resolved. The Secret Service does not anticipate any further action.” Seriously bruh, it’s one thing to disagree with the man, but “everything bad about humanity” is taking it a bit far, no? Did Obama slap yo’ grandmama or something??? Cotdamn… Source
Some C-list struggle quotes from D.L. Hughley… Comedian D.L. Hughley Criticizes President Obama C-list comedian D.L. Hughley spoke out on how he really feels about President Obama in a recent interview with SiriusXM Radio. He says that the President is too calm and intellectual when responding to criticism. In a recent interview on SiriusXM Radio with Ron Bennington, comedian D.L. Hughley mocked how Obama responds to criticism. He argues that Obama’s intellectual responses make him “closer to being a white kid.” Hughley also added thinks that Obama needs to show more passion. Mediaite reports: In an interview with SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s Ron Bennington, comedian and former CNN host D.L. Hughley criticized President Barack Obama for not showing enough passion. Hughley said that Obama tends to respond to criticism intellectually and is “closer to being a white kid” in that respect. However, Hughley says that Obama’s calm demeanor also results in a lack of enthusiasm from the public in the election. Hughley appeared on Bennington’s interview program, Unmasked, to promote his new book, I Want You to Shut The F**k Up: How the Audacity of Dopes is Ruining America. So because he doesn’t act a fool in the face of scrutiny, he’s not black enough? D.L. must reeeaaallly need some more people to buy this book… Do you agree with him? Source
This is so ridiculous how folks love to lie on this man , but the sad part is some stupid fools won’t recognize this b.s. for what it is. There’s a new superPac commercial accusing Obama of being racist but they definitely are stretching with their claims. Watch it below: Some folks would call this creative editing, but we think it’s outright misleading. Here’s a break down most of the discrepancies between the commercial and the actual TRUTH: A web ad released by a new superPAC suggests that President Obama’s administration has quietly accepted and even promoted racism against white people. The ad, by a superPAC called FightBigotry, said that the president has gotten a free pass for “his disturbing, yet crystal-clear pattern of tacitly defending black racism against white folks before and since being elected president.” According to ThinkProgress, the group was founded by Stephen Marks, a Republican media consultant and opposition researcher, who penned a 2008 book called “Confessions of a Political Hitman.” The ad goes on to assert that Attorney General Eric Holder said that the administration’s critics are motivated by race. “Implying that whites are too stupid to have honest disagreements with the president without being racist is, in and of itself, racist against whites,” the narrator says. SuperPACs are not affiliated with campaigns and are forbidden by law from coordinating with them, although they may support a particular candidate. Since a candidate does not have to say that he or she approves a given message from a superPAC, it allows superPACs to be more aggressive while not sullying the reputation of the candidate who might benefit from the negative ad. FightBigotry edits the famous speech on race that the then-Senator Obama gave at the height of the controversy surrounding his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright. In it, Obama discussed how race had shaped him and the role it continued to play in American life. Obama said that his maternal grandmother, who is white, harbored casually racist views even though she loved him. However, the ad is edited so that it appears that President Obama is dismissing his grandmother as “a typical white person,” and that he was unbothered by Wright’s statements, although Obama explicitly condemned the comments in the speech. “Mr. President, you ran as the candidate of change,” the ad’s narrator says in conclusion. “But one thing has not changed—your tacit defense of racism against white folks, despite receiving nearly half the white vote to win the presidency.” Obama won the White House in 2008 with just 43 percent of the white vote, the smallest share ever garnered by a winning presidential candidate in U.S. history. SMH. Like Public Enemy said … Don’t believe the hype! Source
Today is President Barack Obama’s 51st Birthday and we wanted to send him some love on his special day. Critics aside, we think he deserves a round of golf (as planned) and an evening with the fam. All without catching flack from his critics. In honor of him, we thought we’d share some of our favorite moments. Happy Birthday! Images: Facebook/Youtube
This morning’s horrific Colorado multiplex shooting , which left at least 12 attendees of a midnight Dark Knight Rises screening dead, has prompted an ongoing wave of reactions from Hollywood to the White House and beyond. President Barack Obama, who canceled a campaign event scheduled for this evening, issued a statement : “Michelle and I are shocked and saddened by the horrific and tragic shooting in Colorado. Federal and local law enforcement are still responding, and my Administration will do everything that we can to support the people of Aurora in this extraordinarily difficult time. We are committed to bringing whoever was responsible to justice, ensuring the safety of our people, and caring for those who have been wounded. As we do when confronted by moments of darkness and challenge, we must now come together as one American family. All of us must have the people of Aurora in our thoughts and prayers as they confront the loss of family, friends, and neighbors, and we must stand together with them in the challenging hours and days to come.” Also from the campaign trail came comments from presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney, who cited preliminary casualty reports: “Ann and I are deeply saddened by the news of the senseless violence that took the lives of 15 people in Colorado and injured dozens more. We are praying for the families and loved ones of the victims during this time of deep shock and immense grief. We expect that the person responsible for this terrible crime will be quickly brought to justice.” Meanwhile, Warner Bros. called off its Paris premiere and issued its own statement: “Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time.” MPAA chief Chris Dodd spoke out as well: “We share the shock and sadness of everyone in the motion picture community at the news of this terrible event. We extend our prayers and deepest sympathies to the victims, their loved ones and all those affected by this tragedy.” Reactions on Twitter are those of sustained shock and grief, perhaps best characterized by Michael Moore, whose 2002 documentary Bowling For Columbine explored the issue of gun violence in America (particularly in Colorado): Too sad at the moment to comment. — Michael Moore (@MMFlint) July 20, 2012
Rush Limbaugh recently referred to a Georgetown student as a slut because she wanted to have birth control covered by her health insurance plan. Incredibly, however, this comment was positively rational compared to the conspiracy theory spewed forth by the radio host on Tuesday. Discussing The Dark Knight Rises and its primary villain, a terrorist played by Tom Hardy named Bane, Limbaugh went off about the clear connection between this bad guy’s name and the issue Democrats have been hammering home in recent election ads: Mitt Romney’s role in the company Bain. It’s a conspiracy, people! “The villain in The Dark Knight Rises is named Bane, B-a-n-e,” Limbaugh ranted. “What is the name of the venture capital firm that Romney ran and around which there’s now this make-believe controversy? Bain. “The movie has been in the works for a long time. The release date’s been known, summer 2012 for a long time. Do you think that it is accidental that the name of the really vicious fire breathing four eyed whatever it is villain in this movie is named Bane?” Well, readers, he’s asking: Do you think it’s a coincidence? Or is Christopher Nolan a secret agent for Barack Obama? Weigh in now: Are liberals behind the casting of Bane in The Dark Knight Rises?

Good morning! By which I mean just go back to bed : “‘Bane’ is the terrorist in the new movie who drives the caped crusader out of semi-retirement in the final Batman movie . Democrats, who believe they have Romney on the ropes over the president’s assault on his leadership at Bain Capital, said the comparisons are too rich to ignore. ‘It has been observed that movies can reflect the national mood,’ said Democratic advisor and former Clinton aide Christopher Lehane. ‘Whether it is spelled Bain and being put out by the Obama campaign or Bane and being out by Hollywood, the narratives are similar: a highly intelligent villain with offshore interests and a past both are seeking to cover up who had a powerful father and is set on pillaging society,’ he added.” [ Washington Examiner via Big Hollywood ]
Move over, Brangelina. You’re being upstaged by… your parents?!? Indeed, days after Brad Pitt’s mother, Jane Pitt, made headlines for penning an editorial that bashed Barack Obama as “a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage,” Angelina Jolie’s estranged father has come out in support of his quasi relative. “Good for her,” Jon Voight – who once laid into Obama himself for spreading ” anti-Semitism throughout the world ” – told Fox News about Mrs. Pitt. The veteran actor, one of the more outspoken conservatives in Hollywood, added that he agreed all around with Jane Pitt’s stance . Moronic Twitter followers have been sending out death threats to Pitt for her letter, but her very own son has no problem with his mother expressing her views. Said Doug Pitt on The Today Show : “I think moms and dads and kids agree to disagree all over the world. So why would our family be any different? There can be healthy discussion when people disagree with you.” Where do YOU stand on the topic of gay marriage?
