Kristin Cavallari on Lauren Conrad: We’re Cool!

Given their history, Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad may never be BFFs. But The Hills stars aren’t exactly feuding, either. The two are “cool,” Kristin says. The two Laguna Beach beauties famously dated the same guy, Stephen Colletti, on the hit MTV reality show that spawned The Hills , which starred Conrad. In a hilariously contrived move, Cavallari replaced LC as the protagonist and “narrator” of the series in 2009, when she decided to leave after five seasons. Following The Hills series finale this week, the two reunited along with the whole cast, past and present, at the live after-show bash at the Roosevelt Hotel. Despite what some think, the two don’t hate each other at all. A rare joint Lauren Conrad-Kristin Cavallari photo op! “I saw her at the wrap party on Saturday and we caught up,” Cavallari said at the after-show party , explaining that they’re now cordial, but that’s about it. “We are not going to lunch together and I don’t have her phone number, but we are cool,” adds Cavallari of Conrad, who’s kept a low profile this past year. Both girls also dated Brody Jenner at some point. Speaking of that guy, whose fake relationship with Kristin was a primary, bogus story line this season, he’s now with Avril Lavigne – but still close to Kristin. “Our friendship is the most important thing and I don’t think that anything will ever get in the way of that,” says Cavallari, who’s dating Miguel Medina. Nice to see Kristin and LC on good terms. But if you had to pick …

Shauna Sand Slutty Mom Bikini Pictures

Lately I’ve been in the mood for some slutty mom bikini pictures, so I thought I’d give these shots of everyone’s favorite mom Shauna Sand looking slightly inappropriate in front of her children at the beach the other day. I don’t have any kids so who am I to judge a single parent struggling to take care of her kids keep her big fake boobs from falling out of her bikini? Enjoy.

Kristin Cavallari Relives Her ‘Hills’ Debut On Finale Red Carpet

‘All the producers were like, ‘You need to own this,’ ‘ she tells MTV News. By Jean Bentley, with reporting by Tim Kash Kristin Cavallari might have looked calm in her blue dress as she confidently marched into the church where Heidi and Spencer were exchanging vows during season five of “The Hills.” But in reality, the former “Laguna Beach” star told MTV News at the “Hills” finale red carpet that she wasn’t quite as secure as she seemed when she made her big debut. “I was so nervous,” Cavallari admitted. In fact, it was the “Hills” crew that gave her the confidence she needed to make her grand entrance at the wedding so memorable. “All the producers were like, ‘You need to own this. Walk out there like, “Move over!” ‘ ” When Cavallari joined the cast after Lauren Conrad’s departure, she certainly had some big stilettos to fill (figuratively speaking). Her biggest concern was how the rest of the ladies would react to the news. “[I thought] ‘Oh my God, no one knows I’m here,’ ” she recalled. “I didn’t know how everyone was going to react. Everyone could’ve been like, ‘Why are you here?’ which I think it seemed like on the show.” But in reality, after the bombshell dropped, Kristin said the rest of the ladies were very kind to her. “Everyone was actually very sweet and did welcome me with open arms.” In fact, the tables were turned when one star said she was actually intimidated by Kristin. “Stephanie’s first comment was, ‘Wait, wait, wait — you’re going to be on the show now?’ She was like, ‘Oh, I’m scared!’ ” What were your thoughts when Kristin first appeared on “The Hills”? ‘The Hills’ Musical Legacy: Natasha Bedingfield, Lady Gaga And More

Artists from Hilary Duff to Journey owe a debt to ‘Laguna Beach’ and its spin-off. By Kyle Anderson Lady Gaga on “The Hills” Photo: MTV Tuesday night (July 13) represents a huge moment in the history of MTV programming and reality television in general. After six seasons, “The Hills” is coming to a close with a two-hour grand-finale event, beginning at 8 p.m. on MTV. It has been a watershed program, as it first established the sort of hyper-real aesthetic that many reality shows (and a handful of fictional dramas) copied. But “The Hills” and its predecessor, “Laguna Beach,” also left their mark in the music world. Each of the shows had theme songs that helped spark massive career moves for the artists behind them. The theme song to “Laguna Beach” was Hilary Duff’s “Come Clean,” co-written by Kara DioGuardi and John Shanks. Though it originally appeared on Duff’s 2003 album, Metamorphosis, and was released as a single in early 2004, it really picked up steam once it accompanied the premiere of “Laguna Beach” in September of that year. It peaked at #9 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart and earned Duff a shortlist recommendation (though no actual nomination) for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the Grammy Awards. “The Hills” theme song did even better by its artist. When Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” debuted as the tune that introduced the world to “The Hills” in May 2006, it stormed up the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #5. In fact, because of its crossover appeal, “Unwritten” became the most-played song on the radio in the United States in 2006. Not bad for a track that was originally released in 2004 on Bedingfield’s debut album of the same name. “The Hills” also gave the world some early exposure to Lady Gaga . Before Gaga’s debut album, The Fame, took over the airwaves, she performed at a fashion show where Conrad and friend Whitney Port styled her. Gaga was even the subject of a minor plot in that episode, as the zipper of her catsuit broke, forcing Conrad to repair it and save the day. But perhaps the most lasting musical legacy of “The Hills” is actually a moment from “Laguna Beach.” The second-season premiere of “Laguna Beach” (which aired in July 2005) featured a scene wherein castmember Stephen Colletti picks Conrad up for a date. The song playing in Stephen’s car during the scene? Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” which had yet to receive its second renaissance thanks to the series finale of “The Sopranos” (which didn’t air until two years later). Exposure on “Laguna Beach” (along with its appearance on a “Family Guy” episode the same week) sent the track skyrocketing into the iTunes Top 10, an amazing feat for a song that was nearly 25 years old. Kristin Cavallari: The Hills is Basically All Fake

Say it ain’t so … even though we already basically knew! Kristin Cavallari confesses that the relationships you see on The Hills are – gasp – not exactly real. At all. “Nothing you see on TV is real,” the 23-year-old tells People. “Fans need to understand that it’s all entertainment,” she adds. “It’s all in fun. I would never actually put my close friends or a real relationship on a show.” Right … why would a reality show be at all real. Obviously. Gotta love throwing your employer under the bus so blatantly. LeBron James would be proud. That’s basically what’s going on here. After almost a whole season in which Kristin has pined longingly for her ex Brody Jenner, she confesses that just maybe, that wasn’t completely genuine. FAKING IT : Kristin does with all the guys. On The Hills, that is . Gee, you’re kidding. Maybe we would be caught more off guard if we didn’t know he was dating Avril Lavigne and she was with cameraman Miguel Medina . There was also the whole Justin-Bobby thing from last season, which we were expected to buy, as if she would ever hang out with that loser in real life. But we digress. It was the “lightheartedness” that drew her back to reality TV after Laguna Beach , she says: “I was hurt by the way I was portrayed on Laguna Beach .” “So I took a break from that kind of stuff … But when I decided to come back and do The Hills, I told myself that it’s just a job. It’s all work. It’s all fun.” Indeed. Just don’t take it the slightest bit seriously. She says she won’t dish further out of respect for fans: “I have such great fans, and I think a lot of them take the show seriously,” Kristin Cavallari says. “I don’t want to change their views,” the supposed vixen adds. “Besides, since I want to be a producer, I don’t want to give away any production secrets.” Producer of what? Cavallari has two reality shows in the works:“One will have similarities to The Hills, and one about fashion with some competition.” As far tonight’s The Hills series finale goes, it doesn’t sound like Cavallari has any regrets about her two-season stint on the long-running bogus MTV show. “I feel like we all ended on a high note, we all had a great time, and I plan to stay friends with pretty much everyone,” she says – including Lauren Conrad . “I just saw Lauren on Saturday at The Hills wrap party,” Cavallari says. “It was good to see her. When we see each other, we say hi and catch up a bit.”

Jessica Simpson’s Sweet Vacation Chubcakes

I for one am delighted that Jessica Simpson decided to take her tasty big chubcakes out for a little shopping over the weekend, and I’m sure I’m not alone on this. I like when a woman’s boobs get to the point where she has trouble keeping them hidden from onlookers like me. She’s on vacation somewhere warm so maybe we’ll get to see the big girls in action in a bikini or on the beach, hopefully playing volleyball or bouncing on a diving board. Pretty please. more pictures of Jessica Simpson here       Related Articles: Jessica Simpson Has A Killer Tongue Jessica Simpson’s Boobs Are Good Band-Aids Jessica Simpson’s View From The Top Jessica Simpson Sucks The Dark Chocolate Photos: Flynet

What Will ‘The Hills’ Legacy Be? Kristin And Audrina Weigh In

Final episode of ‘The Hills’ airs Tuesday, July 13, at 10 p.m. ET on MTV. By Jocelyn Vena Audrina Patridge Photo: Christina Garibaldi/ MTV News Shortly after Lauren Conrad bid a fond farewell to “Laguna Beach,” she found herself looking for love, friends and a career on “The Hills.” Over the show’s six seasons, LC and her pals — including Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge, Lo Bosworth and even onetime frienemy Kristin Cavallari — created lots of drama, shared laughs and tears and let fans into their lives to get an intimate look at what it’s like to be a 20-something in Los Angeles. But when “The Hills” wraps permanently on Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on MTV, what will it most be remembered for? “What people really responded to was how beautifully it was shot,” Cavallari told MTV News. “And the cameras they use [for the show] are the best, so it looks like a movie.” It looked so good that, when the show became a hit after its launch in May 2006, a number of other reality shows tried to capture that “Hills” magic. “I think they broke the mold for a lot of shows,” Cavallari said. “So I think they’ll be remembered as that [show].” Patridge, however, has a different theory about what the show’s legacy will be. “There’s been so many emotional scenes — and lots of blank stares,” she laughed about the show’s go-to dramatic close-up. “Lots of tears. Lots of fighting. Lots of gossip.” What do you think will be the legacy of “The Hills”? Tell us in the comments! Join MTV News all week as we look back at the best of “The Hills” and celebrate the series finale with the cast on Tuesday, July 13. Related Videos Saying Good-Bye To ‘The Hills’
