Unfortunately for students it Texas, Mrs. Clinton’s historic feat will be disregarded after the state’s decision earlier this week to remove Hillary Clinton and Hellen Keller from history lessons. Newsweek reports: The vote comes as the board makes efforts to “streamline” the social studies curriculum in the state, The Dallas Morning News reported. The preliminary vote by the 15 member board group created a rubric to decide which historical figures were “essential to learn about and who wasn’t.” But for some odd reason, the same curriculum deems it mandatory for students to learn about Bill Clinton ‘s impeachment. Thoughts?

The cancellations were a surprise to many fans, who were only told that there were “production issues.” Santigold, one of the artist removed from tour dates, took to Twitter to explain her no-show. I’m sorry you paid to see us and we’re not there. That really bums me out. I’m also bummed that @MsLaurynHill and crew didn’t tell ppl why we’re not there. Apparently Nas was also taken off the bill without much explanation. These new problems come only a month after Robert Glasper claimed that Hill stole music during the making of her first album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill , and has failed to credit musicians in the past.

On Friday, she posted a heartwarming video of her and the late rapper having a late night couple’s chat, and it’s too adorable for words. According to TMZ , the industry exec is currently hospitalized with a case of gout in his elbow. For those unfamiliar with the condition, gout is type of arthritis caused by an excess buildup of uric acid crystals in the joints. It can be an excruciatingly painful experience for the patient and is often paired with extreme sensitivity and intense swelling. Apparently, Vince has been hospitalized since Thursday, and yet there has been no visit or even any contact from his estranged ex-wife Tamar. As you know, Tamar says she has moved on and is very much in love with a brand new boo and is looking to start a brand new forever with him, including more kids. Lil Wayne Reveals Suicide Attempt At Age 12 Hip-hop fans have long known the story of Lil Wayne ‘s tragic gun accident at age 12. As the rapper has always said, he was fooling around with his mother’s gun when it went off, shooting him in the chest and narrowly missing his heart. His life was saved by an officer passing by , whom he shows gratitude to this day. Now, with the release of the Carter V (finally) on the horizon, the rapper is now coming clean about the details of that story. Apparently, the “accident” was actually an attempt at taking his own life. As Billboard revealed in their latest cover story on the rapper, they were able to hear an advanced preview of the album and the outro features Wayne speaking explicitly about the accident actually having been an attempt on his own life. Wayne says that his mother told him he would no longer be permitted to rap, and he was apparently so distraught over this new rule that he saw no further reason to live. In addition, they reveal that Wayne had always planned to include the track on his severely pushed-back project, but added new verses after the suicides of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain earlier this year. According to the Miami Herald , a prisoner at the Columbia Correctional Institution annex building strangled his cellmate to death, gouged out his eyeball, cut off his ear and wore it as a necklace to the chow hall. The victim, Larry Mark, 58, was serving a life sentence for a 1981 murder in Broward County. He crushed a cab driver’s skull and stole $35 and a wedding ring. For some reason, the Florida Department of Corrections is refusing to share the attacker’s name and information. Hours after Larry Mark was killed and huge unrelated riot is said to have broken out in the prison. Something is really wrong down in Florida and someone needs to get to the bottom of what’s really going on.

According to TMZ , Frank wants his vocals removed from the Astroworld cut “Carousel” post f**king haste. It is said that Mr. Nostalgia Ultra is upset because his verse or vocals were somehow altered from what he originally recorded. There’s quite a bit of autotune used on his voice and pitch changes happen throughout his part. In any event, he ain’t feelin’ it. Frank is so angry over it he reportedly had his lawyers send Travis a threatening cease & desist order to have him taken off the track, but no dice. Travis is said to have no plans on removing Francis from “Carousel”. He likes it just the way it is and that’s that on that.
