Odd Future’s Tyler, The Creator tried to get his Lil Mama on at a Gucci Mane concert in Los Angeles and got shut down. While Gucci was performing, Tyler, The Creator ran on stage dancing and before he could begin to enjoy himself, a security guard grabbed him by the throat and shoved him into the wings of the stage. Someone must have told security who they had roughed up, because Tyler was back on the stage a few moments later. After Tyler finished going ham to Gucci’s song, he jumped into the crowd hoping to be caught, but was dropped. Check out the video below. Whitney Houston’s mom Cissy Houston is making sure she gets rid of all the bad influences from her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina’s life, and the first person on the list is a 22-year-old man who Whitney treated like her very own son. Nick Gordon was taken in by Whitney as a troubled youngster when she was living in Atlanta, and though he was never formerly adopted, she considered Nick her son and he even called her “mom.” According to TMZ : Cissy believes Nick is a bad influence on her granddaughter and wants him OUT of the Houston family home in Atlanta ASAP, and has already informed her lawyers about the eviction in case he puts up a fight. Nick has allegedly been helping Bobbi deal with the loss of her mom, and we hope this latest incident doesn’t push Bobbi Kristina over the edge. Should Cissy have thrown Nick out? Brown shows off a more polished side on cover art for upcoming album. Fans have been waiting for album news since Brown dropped the single “Turn Up the Music” in January followed by a music video the next month, which racked up more than 8 million views in its first week. In addition, Brown’s second single from the album, “Strip,” is rapidly climbing the Urban Radio charts. Brown also revealed the album’s cover art Thursday, showing off a more polished side to #TeamBreezy. Donning a retro-inspired skinny suit, thin black tie and thick black-framed glasses, the cover unveils a more mature, sleek side to the 22-year-old artist. As he stands underneath a bright light shining down on him, the word “Fortune” is collaged behind him in different languages. The road to Brown’s new album release has already been a busy one. With two performances at the Grammys and a surprise appearance at the 2012 NBA All-Star halftime show alongside Pitbull, Breezy has been doing some serious PR leading up to the album drop. Brown has also stirred up some controversy in the past few weeks by lashing out at his detractors following the Grammys, collaborating with ex-girlfriend Rihanna on two remixes after assaulting her just three years ago and allegedly stealing a fan’s iPhone . Rihanna and Chris Brown are both seemingly trying to start some controversy. Days after Brown’s recent scandal involving a fan’s claims that he stole her iPhone, there are reports that Rihanna has let Chris know that she has his back through the drama. Is she talking about him in her tweets? If Chris is formally charged (which was rumored to have been happening yesterday), he could be in violation of his probation. Rihanna tweeted some lyrics over the weekend that many think were references to Brown … intended for him to see. “And I know, and I know, and I know….everything u like, everything I love ,” she tweeted. And later added, “He wants that old thing back! Uh uh uh, he want those heroin tracks! He likes me, he fiends for me nightly.”
Radar Online claims that Jay-Z is none too pleased with Rihanna after she reunited with Chris Brown for new music two years after the brutal beating she suffered at the hands on him in 2009. A source tells the site, “Jay was absolutely disgusted by what Chris did to Rihanna. Jay doesn’t understand how a man could ever lay hands on a woman; it just goes against who he is and about. WWE wrestler CM Punk may be right in saying Chris Brown hasn’t changed. Chris Brown is in trouble after being accused of stealing a random fan’s iPhone after she snapped a photo of him leaving a nightclub in Miami. Chris allegedly snatched the phone and said “B*tch, you’re not gonna put that on the Internet,” before driving off with the device. A rep for the Miami Beach Police Department tells TMZ , 24-year-old Christal Spann filed a police report Sunday for “robbery by snatching” — claiming she followed Chris and rapper Tyga out of Cameo nightclub early in the morning… and snapped a picture of Chris getting into his Bentley. No warrant has been issued and being that Brown is on probation, he could possibly face jail time! Chris Brown and Rihanna raised more than a few eyebrows this week with their remixes of her hit “Birthday Cake” and his “Turn Up the Music” this week. Those two surprise collaborations have been followed by rumors that the singers may soon be collaborating in other ways, if you know what we mean. We mean sexually. If you’re wondering who put the reunion in motion (musically, that is), The-Dream, who produced the “Birthday Cake” remix , would know: Rihanna. “It was Rih’s idea,” he tells Billboard . “[Rihanna] is a friend of mine.” “It’s like, ‘You wanna do something? Then cool, let’s do it.’ I don’t know how she got the logistics, how it happened; maybe she’ll talk about it one day.” “I showed up at the studio, and it was like, ‘All right, cool, let’s finish this record,’ which we probably should have finished the first time we did it.” According to The-Dream, he approached the project solely on its musical merits and ditched any of the controversial baggage that may come with it. “For me, it’s just music: two talented people doing two records together, that’s what it was,” he says. “It wasn’t about an incident that happened.” He does acknowledge that the remixes’ controversy, however … “I think [the topic] that should be more on the tongues is: How do we proclaim to be a nation of forgiving … but we can’t actually do it?” he asks. “It actually makes you look weaker than your adversary, in a way, if you don’t have the power to forgive but you lie and say that you did.” “If [Rihanna] can forgive,” he says of Brown’s assault on her three years ago, “that’s where she is mentally. As a friend, it’s like, ‘OK, cool. Let’s roll.'” Fair. But do you think it’s smart for Rih and Chris to date again?
